About 19:45, it must then be a military installation from WW1 or even earlier. I know that there are many such in the mountains and the roads may also have been built by the military in their time.
Something about how the roads in some places were built up with stone made me think that perhaps something had already been built in Roman times.
You are talking about that building by the horses. I wanted to check that place more, but the day was going towards the end. Was looking very interesting. And that road, yes, I saw it was stone-paved, or how to say, earlier, but now it's just a big mess.

Had to skip biggest part of Italian TET, but will pick up in the end section tomorrow. The storms are way too dangerous with all the lightening and heavy showers. Last night felt like in the war.
Seems like these crane operators might know more TET motorbikes are passing on 'their ' road and have it deliberately blocked. Not cool, sorry man. Safe travels! Remember the road is the destination, not some waypoint at the end ❤
