Disturbed - In Another Time [Official Lyrics Video] - Hudba
"Always jumping in, any argument, seems everybody here knows everything. You know you'll never win, but you're certainly losing your mind." - EXACTLY
Tbh, this song has made me rethink how I thought about everything these past months, I left all of my friends because I thought that would be the escape is to leave the life I thought I was trapped in but instead my friends were the ones who were the key to my escape, but leaving them is like throwing the key away to a locked cell and being trapped with your guilt. I started fights with them just so that I had no way to comeback to stop myself from going back because its what I thought I wanted but it was the opposite and even if I tried to heal it, its already crumbling from the damage I have done and there is no supporting it to keep it from falling.
Sorry for the rambling but I just needed to destress.
Ho is that I have the first one is the first one 😂 and dad are doing the same place as well as I can do it 😊 and the first one ☺️ I have 😊 and the first time we have to go to work tomorrow at work at know if if you have any questions on it and the other one was thinking about you all day and then I have to work tonight and I hope you are ok thanks 😽 is that was the first 💞 of game
@@unjustifiedcorruption748 Tried to stop focusing on all that and just take a walk in the forest? Take a trip with in a small boat? Tried talking to other ppl who aren't on about such subjects? You probably did the right thing in a sense. You do realize that you are not confined to just those ppl, just those topics, or just those platforms? Look around.
Same here 🤗
Life is not tug of war man .
"When we actually lived instead of watching life" wow just that line killed me
Makoto Tachibana Same here!
Same!
Just think about all the reality tv shows where we literally watch someone else's life
That's why I don't like reality TV shows lol
Definitely my favorite line as well.
I'm 37. I was born in 1985. This song hits deep. I remember when we did actually lived instead of watching life and there was no internet or "online". Life was beautiful before social media. We had real human connections that were valuable because our entire world consisted of the town we lived in. Everyone talked to each other all the time. We treated friends and loved ones because we didn't have the option to replace them with fake strangers online. Social media is a disease. I used to have so many friends. All the kids would gather in the same spots around the same time each day. If we missed each other then we just walked around or rode our bikes. We used to play massive games of his and seek that spanned the whole neighborhood. Few yards had fences so we could run in between houses. Everyone knew each other. We got exercise. None of us were fat.
It totally hit me today, when he says “you move like an electric zombie” he’s talking about people walking around slowly one step at a time looking at their device instead of looking up
🤘 Maggots 🤘
How to be a chance of a lot of people
High school and it was 💯 and best for us to come over there and best of
How am I supposed to read this comment then
This is what I'm doing tonight for dinner tomorrow night 😊 and dad is my dad is my friend are u too much for you to go to the first 💞 of my life and dad are doing it for
"When we actually lived instead of watching life." Yes. 100% yes.

This song's message I'm not a fan of, however I can bend it to see how it could fit into an AI invasion world... song beats and tempo and all that wise I love it!
Precisely!
It's nice to see music in this day and age that sounds great and has actual meaning to it. Not just one or the other, and it makes Disturbed that much greater.
Completely agree with you! 👍🤘 This, plus their consistent talent, is why Disturbed is my favorite band!
I couldn't agree more
Stand up against 'plastic pop' and listen to great fucking music.🤘
Que chimba disturbed!
Hcg
This song hits hard. The internet should be used to build connections instead of letting them fall apart.
Agreed.
People have that choice. and EVERYONE picks the easy way out. Adding people that they don't know, distancing from people that they do, all for the sake of instant gratification in the form of a LIKE. And all of us have the choice to use the internet for the good. As a knowledge database. But yet, we all use it either for porn or to try and get laid. And of course, internet arguments. Endless, pointless internet arguments.
Years late I know, but. Be the change you wish to see.
This music hits so hard specially on the current situation we are in.
Ho is it LOL 😂 and dad 🤣 and dad ☺️ I love you to you to ❤️ and the first 🥇 in your day going to do the first time I see you doing it LOL 🤣 I
@@tawanahickey1105 What?
True
Even more so now..crazy eh?
Aging pretty well.. unfortunately..
Ahh. Disturbed rocking about the negativity of social/media in general.
And releasing the tracks through social media lol
David Is Radical
Everything in moderation. They are hardly saying stop using it altogether.
@@brianmannion7097 I know I was just being a smartass
That's one thing on why I freakin' love this band because their music speaks the truth.
Darkless4X preach man preach.
Deactivated my Facebook back in 2015 along with every other social media except CZcams. Happiness was almost instantaneous... That thing was killing my soul and sometimes defining how my mood would be some days too. Best decision!
I only use reddit (for memes) and whatsapp
The rest is something i have never touched and will never touch!
I delete my Facebook account because I wanna get rid forget about the toxic people in my life…
Good on you, I am glad I never joined that hellhole.
Ho to me about the first one was a good day at the end 😁😉😉😊😘😊😊😀😊😊
Ive kept my facebook around but mostly for use as a tool to help me stay in contact with old school friends and tabletop groups, I stay the hell away from my news feed on that thing because of the annoying amount of stuff people post. Never really used many others beyond CZcams, and nowadays I use that for music, history, and Vtubers
Daum, Disturbed droppin some serious bars of truth.
When have they its great lol
Stopped when have they stopped
Hi my love I'm so sorry for your lost 💔😢💔😢😢💔💙❤️
Disturbed never disappoints me. They sing about stuff, that's really going on in today's day, and age. That, and they sing about stuff to try to help people.
Electronics and social media have stripped the soul from mankind. No imagination anymore, no communication anymore, no social skills anymore. People live online. Point taken and agreed Dave
Calling out the sad society of "social" media with beautiful melodics! These guys stepped up their game! #WEAREDISTURBED
When I have a trouble with the wi-fi. Reconnect Again, Disconnect Again, Over Again.
Technically this could apply to TV too, since you're being distracted by a screen and not actively engaging with the ones that are around you.
Thank lord I stopped watching TV a year ago.
Is this anyone else’s favorite so far?
Reason to Fight is still my favorite. It's the song that got my girlfriend into Disturbed and made her realize how depressed she was. It really help us, she's now gotton help and we're getting ready for the next steps in our lives. She and I love that song.
It is
obviously the best one until now.... still belive they can do better
I like the Best ones lie and Evolution the most
I really like this and No More
This song really CURED my anxiety & stress over social media & how it became a hellish nightmare.
This song speaks the truth. Back in the old days there was no internet, no emails, no youtube, no Facebook. Kids today would probably not want to live that live.
No cell phones or computers. Just me, my walkman with fresh batteries, my bike and my Tool tape. Best times of my lives
“In another time will we still be blind...” got me in my soul
My average Disturbed experience

I like how we make comments even though we just listened to this song about technology addiction (In theory)
Almost seems redundant and like a dumb loop.
Which is funny since we need technology and the internet to hear this song... :P
@@ChaosxSpacexMarine Not true. I hadn't heard this song until I bought the album. *stabs tongue face with a fork* :P 😁
Just making a comment doesn't mean we are addicted. The internet is a tool, it's not inherently bad.
@@JoshMcSwain I totally agree. I just find Irony in making a comment on a song like this.
"you move like an electric zombie!" This is amazing description of our society! And a Hope: "In another time, we're still be blind, BECAUSE THERE'S SO MUCH MORE THAN WATCH WE SEE ONLINE!" That's so good!
Yes, it actually depicts the current situation we are living now.
Sadly the world before Internet and social media wasn't better. And we weren't free also...
G-damn! I thought I was the only one who felt this way!
I have refused to get "plugged-in", no twitter account, no Facebook, and I have watched how much those around me have changed, (and *not* for the better).
It is good to see that there are others who have retained some semblance of their sanity and see what I see.
Namaste In Lak' Esh
whist i agree you can have all those accounts just dont go overboard with addiction
My 24 year old son refuses to have a Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or any of that stuff. But he's a genius with computers and using technology.
My peers would still be bugging me about us being able to stay in contact and be able to contact each other outside of school. I maybe post something every month or couple months just to appease people. I really enjoy this song because old timers I've talked to talked to me about the older days. I wish sometimes I could time travel.
Listened to this in full volume. Now my neighbors are disturbed
When we actually lived instead of watching life that's exactly what's happening to our world
Who else is ready for a new album of greatness by these guys I sure am
As long as its songs like this sure otherwise nah
Highest level of the day for the other 0
God knows i am...time for new Disturbed
High School is a lot more than one day for a week
This song is deep. Basically an everyday thing. I actually am digging this new sound. By the way these lyric videos are all fucking awesome. Love how they release the songs with the lyrics on the videos. Rock on disturbed.
Leon S. Kennedy I understand where you coming from💯
@@5kbaby747 Fuck yeah bro
Reminds me of the album Ten Thousand Fists a bit.
If they didn't upload the lyrics, it would basically defeat their purpose to get the message to the sheeple. There are some who wont hear it unless it's read. Sinks it into the subconscious a bit better and you can actually take the message for its intention. Disturbed is the shit!
Deep? The message most of this album is sending has been beaten to death for years across multiple mediums.
1:48 Oh boy 3 A.M.! *eats a krabby patty*
Lol! I imagined that scene In my head just now (;
You like Krabby Patties don't you, Squidward?
Lol love me some spongebob references. My daughter was on video chat with her friend the other day... I bust in yelling 'Get in here you lazy April and start rubbing me with this chocolate!'. It was awesome lol. She was so embarrassed.
"Can we even be saved?"
"When the world was more than what we see online."
"Always jumping in any argument. Seems everybody here knows everything."
Why do those lyrics sound like what's happening now? I know BLM is major, but the violence is out of hand. Rioters attacking small store owners is just... It's disrespectful and shows how bad our country became. My prayers go out to the people who protest peacefully and are heard.
true story. thats why i left fb,hope you do the same.best wishes.
Honestly the BLM movement has done more to destroy the lives and businesses of African Americans than any amount of racism or hate from anyone else ever has. At least in recent years anyways.
Highest in a good mood today and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow and let you down and see what you can do with your family are doing and if it
“Seems everybody here knows everything” PERFECTLY sums up every social media platform.
This Song really makes me think because I live in a apartment building Hyatt and I just look out the window and I just think to myself what was here before the buildings🌆🏞
"When we actually lived instead of watching life"
That lyric for some reason really hit me harder than anything.
This Album is A Masterpiece in every single song..
'Seems everyone here knows everything' is a belter of a quote. It's actually just CZcams comments in a nutshell

Disturbed r metal gods
The verse parts have a bit of "The Animal" riffs in it.
Me and my dad where listening to this song and we both said the same thing
High school is going well for me and
Those 669 dislikes are from people who think that this doesn’t describe
them. Unfortunately this song PERFECTLY explains the trap I have been caught in by technology.
I can imagine a music video of this in the style of "land of confusion" with the "hand of God" guy coming back to earth and finding the people enslaved by tech. Would be awesome!
Earl Peters the hand of god guy is called “The Guy”
@@Carter.wilson28 Whoops, my bad, lol.
Earl Peters hey it’s fine I didn’t know that but a week ago
This is one of the reasons I love Disturbed. They sing about social issues and life. They are amazing.
Did anyone else feel a little choked up at the chorus? How the tone and message is so sincere and heartfelt in that crescendo?
This song is the reason i will never buy another smartphone again
Thats not what this song is about tho. Its about not being a slave to your technolagy. Its about getting out into the world more, and actually doing things instead of just watching other people do it. Its about breaking free of social media.
"When we actually lived instead of watching life" DAMN!!! Oof! When someone says hitting the nail on the head, Disturbed broke the whole damn plank!
God this song expresses my exact feelings. I walk to school everyday because I like to walk through the forest area, and I cant tell you how many people I pass by (THAT ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF NATURE) but are walking like "zombies" staring at their fucking phones and running into others... tragic.
The irony listening to this on my smartphone
Sadly as someone with asd I depend on technology alot it gives me a voice I cant have otherwise I'd still be barely functioning without it
"When we actually lived instead of watching life."One line to sum up this generation
It was still true before, it's just that the purveyors of what life you got to watch were far more power concentrated.
Disturbed song's and album's each come with a message all the the dislikes are frome people who just don't get it.
The relevance left me in shivers. Is it any wonder why Disturbed is my favorite band?
(It's not a wonder - don't even bother answering.)
The meaning in much of their music is what has drawn me since 10,000 Fists... They are one of few bands who carry clairvoience. And only aging like a fine wine. Better these days then the past IMO.
@@thereaversden6847
My thoughts are very much the same. (I even jumped on the *band*-wagon (ar ar) with Ten Thousand Fists, too.) I thoroughly enjoy their old works as much as their newer ones, but indeed, they get better and better over time, and as you said, age like a fine wine. (...While other artists age like milk...)
How to be a lot of fun
I've personally been slowly fading away from social media. I mean I love making videos for my fans and playing my games... it's my creative outlet, a place where I can truly be myself.
But I like take in the world around me some afternoons and go for a walk.
jc1424 you’re waking up
Good job, jc1424.
Ps... is the 'like' after 'I' a mistake? Or did you mean to put a 'to' after it? Because the sentence "But I like take in the world" makes no sense. 🤷♂️
Fuck facebook in the face!
Same here.
Nice to see you here JC!
so, its 2019, you can listen to music whenever you want and bands like disturbed still can make music touching your heart, so you cant deny we live in the golden age of music
This song is a win in modern times. I remember a time when it wasn't like this. Much better.
HOLY DAMN!!! THIS SONG YOU GUYS
Ik
I was gonna say the same thing!
*Does anyone else get a "Prayer" vibe from the guitar riff!?*
i get more of The Animal
Im hearing the verse from Enough...
The animal
Definitely the animal slowed down
And the way David sings at the beginning reminds me of the way he sings in My Child
A song rebelling against the modern Internet society, promoting itself in the biggest online music website... Disturbed.
In another time, will we still be blind?
They just keep getting better.

Don’t forget the Redditors
strongest lyric ever
they say the reality of our today
Yeah
Most of their songs do
In the lyrics they say "You've never seem to stop completely"
I misheard it as "You've never seen the stars completely"
I feel like it's better in a way.
I heard it right the first time but mmmkay.
I’m lucky enough to have paid for a meet and greet. I’m from their hometown of Chicago. I’m pumped to meet and greet them in January. I think once the show starts I’ll keep my phone in my pocket and enjoy some good music. Instead of uploading pictures to Instagram and Snapchat, etc.
Makes me want to deactivate Facebook right now.
I did today :)
Do it. I deactivated and got a flip phone over a year ago. I use this phone as a WiFi only device at home.
eeewwww facebook. this song may apply to me too, but i am a gamer. i choose not to live, because i live a thousand lives.

“Always jumping in any argument, seems everybody here knows everything...” Do we? Straight in to the marrow!! Awesome song!!
“Can we all go back to the time when it were not like this?” If only it were possible, David.. IF ONLY.
“Before the world became enslaved” best quote in the song
David probably made this song to that girl he called out in one of his concerts using a phone !
That girl was actually talking to her daughter who was getting hit by a tornado.
He actually apologized to her after he leaned this.
I know the whole story. I felt sorry for her when i saw that
80s Desire it made plenty of sense why he said something to her though, it might have been an emergency but she didn’t have the respect to herself and the band to leave where she was sitting for the time she was using her phone.
Hell yeah !
My Internet: "Disconnect Again. Reconnect Again."

This song got a whole different meaning after the quarantine
for some reason this song brings back memories of the "Silo" mission in goldeneye 64
Damn right haha
Evolution has a lot messages that we as a society need take seriously! It's clear to me that Disturbed is trying to open our eyes to what's going on in our sick world and that we are the only ones responsible for fixing the mess
Finally a band that can understand what is going on with our culture, people glued to their phones who miss the everything happening in front of them, who are being told what to be offended at by what they see online. Essentially people are blind to their very surroundings.
Disturbed is what made me who I am today!
Same.

What a breathtaking song. Makes us (older) adults remember back to how life was before technology took over every aspect of life.
This song makes me feel like a failure, don’t get me wrong, I still love this song it just makes me feel like I’m living life wrong.
then start living it right, nothing is stopping us fighting back at this, people just need to put thier phones etc down and start living
Easy enough to do it
in this whole album i hear a lot more than just what he is singing. has anyone else noticed that all these revolution type songs and albums never tell you the whole truth? they never say directly what your fighting against and what future you should be fighting for. all too general for me. one day they will come right out and say who the real 'man behind the curtian' is which is a day i see coming fast!
Because they can't
if you're smart, they don't need to tell you...
I swear I'm listening to you guys for more than a decade!! hope I will have the money to see you guys in Israel! :)

Why would it be on the radio? It's anti corporate agenda.

We need people to actually listen to this song and see how we all are just going downhill with our devices.
this is good for 2023 as we are not blind and we are not stupid and the real ppl have the right actions
I felt like hitting the gym much hard after listening to this.
Does somebody else listens to this while quarantined??
it is the music for quarantine 2020.
when we actually lived instead of watching life. powerful and deep. America is worried about everyone and everything else instead of living their own lives. this country is falling apart and weak and afraid to take chances and fail. in the words of the great Michael Jordan, Failure = Success
“In another time when we were'nt so blind when the world was more than what we see online when we actually lived instead of watching life„
Best part and real too
In another time this song wouldn't exist
Exactly
A better time lol
The way he says "AN ELECTRIC ZOMBIE!" is fucking awesome. David is my favorite singer by far because of moments like those. The feeling in those words are actually... well... electric XD
that riff reminds me of the 007 music. it would be awesome if this song made it onto a future 007 soundtrack
So powerful is my favorite son in the album. Combined the old with the new. Truly in another time.
personally this song works far more with our current situation, many of us are now forced into staying at home and using online to connect with our family and friends, this song hits harder this year for me, its still a relevant song even in 2020, and thats kind of unnerving..in a good way, i think?
Now obviously you can still go outside, but you can't go into public forests, parks, or any attractions, all these places are off limits, and many don't want to because of their fear of receiving you know what, it also doesn't help that most people are ignoring the advice, and shop ethics, and having public parties. it makes a person want to stay at home.
This is a great song. It speaks of the control of technology on our lives and makes us slaves to our phones,TV s, etc. We need to get out a bit more and start exploring where we live. Adventure around and get to know what's around. There's more than what meets the eye.
I totally would, I want to, but I’m not allowed to leave the house by myself because I’m currently suicidal.
holy shit it is so about our civilization these days ......I have spent my life wrapped in depression because of a tortured childhood i come awake somehow to find all this more of us need to push this .....I dont kow or owe you anything all I wanna say is I love all of you.....
"When we actually lived instead of watching life"?
Please, we still pass the majority of our lives at work, 5 or 6 days a week, except some lucky ones. We have so little time for ourselves, and we're usually exhausted.
The problem isn't social media: we should all work less.
Hope everybody will buy the album! They deserve all the encouragement we can give!!! They're better than ever!!!!!!
