I had one of these come in at work and got to see it in a full setup. Honestly really impressive albeit a little pricey.

When the steering wheel accessorie is more expensive than the console
$700 is pretty good pricing for a midrange direct drive (DD) wheel. Go ahead and look at some of the iracing setups and you will quickly realize the direct drive motor can cost $1500 - without the wheel
It’s still more than ten times what the controller costs and I just watched a video that concluded the wheel on the realistically improved lap times by around 1 second if your are at a very good standard.
@@rayeasom testing for faster laptimes is good and all, but wheels are mainly worth it because of the consistency it gives your inputs, especially if you're used to driving cars irl

@@hoshinonaohiko yeah they’re are much more immersive but I definitely don’t think the high end ones like this version are worth the £1000s they cost for the return you get for the average gamer. For the professional CZcamsr or eRacer then they are definitely worth the investment as the financial return will mean they pay for themselves in time however for your average weekend/evening gamer it is very hard to justify the cost.

Dude they freaking blessed you all the way up! That's badass! I love Gran Turismo.. Have been playing ever since the first original game on PS1. My father and I had a blast beating Gran Turismo 2 when it released. Those were the good old days. To this day I play GT Sport and drift with my online buddies. Can't wait to get my hands on GT7 .. Need to upgrade to a PS5 first lol.
Update : Very disappointed to see only two pedals.. Especially for the price range. Hopefully you can add a 3rd one if wanted.

Logitech is selling their direct drive wheel for $1000… and the housing is made of plastic?! I’d rather get this rig because Fanatec is the standard for sim racing products and you get the game also… PS5 games are like $75+ after tax! I might wait to get GT7 for the price to come down as I just got a PS5, plus I’ve heard GT7 isn’t that great and I’m all about the multiplayer. Strange because they have a next Gen system to work with and all this time and they focused more on micro transactions it seemed. I do wish someone would review this using their words giving their opinion

I got a chance to try out a racing wheel that had that same thing -- it could twist on its own, resist twisting at times, etc. So cool!! I would love to have one, but not willing to pay that much for it. Still, so cool.

I've spent roughly 110 hours in the past week ish playing GT7, yes, the credits are really freakin slow and the microtransactions become predatory because of it. They've essentially copy pasted GT Sport and Called it GT7 with a few extra features. The cars largely remain the same but with major cutbacks, it's a buggy mess and the max credits per hour is 600,000~.
You are best off doing the final championship or the 2nd to last championship on repeat for approximately 140 hours to get all the cars in the game, but with the used car dealership and legend cars being bugged and not actually updating each day it's also a huge time gate.
The game was launched prior to being ready, it's a shame, but it's pretty standard these days in the games industry. Wouldn't say the game is bad because of it, it's great, it just has setbacks that needed to be fixed yesterday, not in a week or two.
Edit: you can save roughly 139 hours by spending around $1600 USD on credits on the PS Store and buy everything.
What are u talking about??? Max u can earn is 600,000 an HR??? I make over a Million and HR doing the fishermans rally . And then there's the High Speed Ring Gr.4 race pretty early on in the game where u make around 960,000 and hr if u have not gotten as far in the cafe menus yet ... It's pretty simple to earn credits and it's always been a part of Gran Turismo to grind ..
@@dariusbaja21 Agree, more than 4M just in the career mode, I've completed it in less than a week. By playings around 1 to 3 hours per day.
@@abdelhakfadi4529 completed it first day, didn't want to grind the exact same track/race repeatedly like the above mentioned methods, it got really monotonous.
They haven't copy & pasted GT Sport and called it GT7 with a few extra features. The game has LESS features than GT Sport.

I just ordered dd pro today and I was wondering can you just plug in and play gt7 or do you have to do firmware update first thing? Also I live in North Carolina and wondering how long did it take to get your dd pro in mail? Love your videos keep up the great work.
It’s plug and play but everybody suggests updating drivers.
