Last owned by an elderly couple this late 1970s home is set to be demolished. Purchased by a developer back in 2020, the home will be flattened along with two neighboring homes to build 200-300 single detached homes and townhomes.

😫 tear down beautiful well built homes in order to build cheap flimsy homes… like others have said.. why they can’t build around them is beyond me!
Me too
Greed. Making money is all that matters to investors/developers.
I was just about the comment the exact same thing then I saw your's.
Not just homes...the whole country well built and its quickly being torn down for a flimsy America
46 years isn't long for a quality home such as this. The wood trim, the ceiling fan in the foyer and other things like the tiny sink in the half bath I belive are updates.
Why can't developers build around these? My 1960ish neighborhood was built around some early 1900's farm houses.
Thanks for the tour Noah!
🤠👍
Come to think of it there is a large old house that's out of place in my 1970's - 80's neighborhood
Great video as always noah! Sad that this house is getting demolished, it looks like it's in great shape. And btw a ton of companies made countless ceiling fan models, quite a few companies formed in the late 1800's like Hunter and emerson. That fan happens to be the most affordable option, making them so popular & have interchangeable light fixtures that are drastically different, from mini Chandeliers to a simple white globe, making them very appealing to people trying to fit their style.
Hi Noah, Kimberly from upstate NY. I love this house! I would live there. What a shame that houses are being torn down in the name of " progress". Love the video, keep them coming!🧡🏚🏘
Great explore Noah the wood floors in that house are the same kind as the ones in my 1958 ranch house..The floors in my house are still in perfect condition I would never put carpet over wood floors. The brick on that bungalow/ranch house is beautiful. What a darn shame it's being torn down.....😮
What most (young) people don't realize is that senior citizens are prone to falling, which can be fatal. Now, you might think,"Why can't they catch themselves?". I would answer,"Because it happens too fast." I know because it happened to me.
For senior citizens, wooden (and especially tile) floors don't make practical sense.
Those two kitchen cupboards have had the bottoms of the doors cut off probably to put a very tall refrigerator there.
omg this house is beautiful
The butcherblock Formica® countertops in the kitchen are definitely original to 1977 when the house was built. So are the hardwoods. The passthru bathroom was popular to the time frame in houses with basements that were intended to be, or were finished, but not have a bathroom downstairs. They provided easy access to guests. The tall skinny closet downstairs was probably for pool sticks or brooms. Maybe?? I saw many homes during that time that had places to hide brooms. The metal swing out device on the closet door in the back bedroom was a place to hang ironed shirts or clothes until they could be put away in the closets where they belonged in the other bedrooms. I love your videos. You are the best in your trade. I have tried to watch others who do this, and I can only watch a small part because they just don't have your same style. Thank you for all of this work!
I so enjoy your video's. And I like you. Good job.Noah keep it up.
Noah, I love this house. Older homes just feels cozy more welcoming. I don't like carpet though. I'd rather have beautiful hard wood floors.
Really nice house here Noah, got the usual drivel with builders. Do you plan to explore the other 2 houses? I'd like to see them. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've actually already posted the other two homes which are these ones here!

I think that living room carpet is called "sculptured plush".
We call those types of homes 'ranch' style in the northwest. USA. Love your channel. I'm 71 yrs old. Many of your homes are a walk down memory lane for me. Thank you
Your voice is very soothing. Lol even your gentle breathing noises. Very soothing . I enjoyed the tour. This house is beautiful and has such a cosey feel to it i felt so sad When i saw the beautiful glass doors and knowing the house is set to be demolished.
America has so much for your waste. So sad
It's so nostalgic to watch these videos. That totally reminded me of my dad's old country home in Iowa.
Thanks Noah buddy...you always come up with great stuff! Forget the haters , you are loved Pal🤗
Absolutely love this gem. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤
Another great explore!
Having watched a few other explorers, your style is fantastic. You never seem to be in a rush and the slow camera work with your chatty commentary is great!
Thanks for taking us along 👍
0:32 You'll be lucky renting a three room box wedged between other three room boxes and you will know when your neighbor passes gas. And you will like it!
(My daily sarcastic rant, your tolerance is appreciated. Thank you friends! 😉👍)
You will have nothing and like it.
I just love this style of house. So comfortable and practical. They put such beautiful touches in the decor! Also, that carpet in the livingroom is called sculptured style. Thank you for shiwing this beautiful home.
Beautiful home and property
Man I would love to own that house 🏡
Nice work Noah. Keep up the good work
Stay safe and well.👍😊🆒
Nice little home, great video as always!
Nice one Noah! Thanks for another great tour 🥰
Who is mean to you. You my favorite dude. Your presentations are great. Your camera work better than others. When you first started this channel absolutely loved your intro and music.
Oh, that beautiful sculptured shag carpet! It was very popular back in the day.
Looks like a nice home. Nice yard!
Excellent video as all of yours are. What a shame to demolish this beautiful house --- Debbie
Hi Noah from West Virginia USA 🇺🇲👋 I like watching your videos 👍😎
Memories of growing up lol thank you ❤
The former owners had pride. Nicely kept. Sweet little house.
The border trims were big in the 90s.
Hey, appreciate your videos and the respect you show for the homes and viewers!
I love this house too. Im also quite sad ill probably never get into the market here because all the developers and speculators driving up prices. Its sad that they dont keep these houses and build on some of the property. Seems so wasteful really
WOW, the condition of this house. Practically move in ready! What a shame.
Linda 🏘️, terreno amplo, adorável
Great video Noah nice to meet u ❤
So beautiful house ❤
That living room is so perfect for Christmas time because of that windows and fireplace.
Thanks for the video awesome house
Love this video and am a big fan. That is a bow window. I know this because we have one 😊
Sad to take a perfectly good house and destroy it for new homes.
What a Gorgeous, Gorgeous house. Just horrid those developers & the fools that buy their homes. Watching tv judge shows, the developers have Their rules / fees, which guess who pays them... Not the developers..
It looks like you could move right in, with a little cleanup not a lot. Maybe needs a little painting here and there and some drawer and shelf lining but not too much work.
Just wondering, over where you are, do you have companies who come in and clear the houses of all content left behind. Here in the UK, if someone dies, you go in and take what you want and can then pay someone to remove everything else, and they sell it. It would save all that nice furniture being left to decay. This was a really nice place, loved the glass features.
To demolish that house is a shame it’s in very good condition
You probably have noticed that most of the homes in the 60s/70's have different flooring in each room.
Wow that's a nice house.
Makes me sad and angry. Wish I had a home like this!
No way to many damn humans
Someone could easily refurbish this house. Beautiful oak hardwood floors. I hope they save the wood. So rare to find real oak floors.
You forgot the room in the basement
Shame to tear this house down.
This style carpet is called sculpted!
Yes very sad housesnot build like used to
Such a beautiful home to destroy 😢. I hate that developers do that
shortly after miney you show same house
We explored it together haha
Greed is greed!
Who doesn't take the vices?
Damn shame tare down nice home
A brick home, hope they received a super huge pay out..
❤❤❤❤❤
Mayor McCheese makes a guest appearance lol
With the housing crisis and homelessness they’re still greedy 😢
Nice solid house that should perhaps only need some upgrades….. unfortunate they don’t just incorporate these houses into the new development such a WASTE
I'm like in the old school switches. I lived in a house that had those switches of course it didn't work no more there were two buttons one to turn it on and want to turn it off right on the stair case. And those switches have that satisfying click sound.
Yes I agree, Noah and all the rest should take a hint and flick those.
@@JohnShinn1960 most definitely they should.
Progress is progress but who is it progressing? You young people should have the opportunity to buy a house and it's criminal that it's being denied to this generation.
I chuckled when I saw grandma and grandpop's rumpus room in the basement. I guess it was the grandkid's playroom when they came by.
And I consider the grandkids as very lucky to have had the experience visiting there.
After the townhouses are built, the grandkids of those that live there will only have memories of a narrow house with a postage stamp yard on a cookie cutter street.
Altogether a nice little place; currently it's "old people" clean but a good clean and some paint it would serve some little family quite well.
Such a shame.
That is more 80’s decor
First
Yes, it is sad that progress means people our age cannot be first time home buyers and we are basically stuck living off the government on vouchers or however we can get by.
Not all changes are good...have a great and very Merry Christmas everyone and God Bless. 1776
House to good tare down boy what waste damn humans
14:12
One of these times I am going to count the number of times you make negative remarks about houses you go into.
Ya know it is a shame that these people (developers), aren't giving people who might want to buy a house like this, the chance to buy one. Ya know, that has character, and doesn't look like the house next to it. These would be great for couples just starting out in life, that doesn't have a million dollars to buy a brand new home. Just wait. They build these mini mansions/cookie cutter houses, people get into them, then end up not being able to pay for them after getting one. That would be great for you guys. Because you will have lots more Abandoned houses to video, lol.
😅
Yes shame need human control way to many humans stop brining in illiagles
STOP VOMMING IN SO DAMB CLOSE, SCAN THE ROOMS. WHO WANTS TO SEE THE INSIDE OF CABINETS!!!!!!!
So this is another beautiful home that there just going to waste for these modern trash houses.
That is because nobody cares!!!!
@@LINJ638 yep welcome to the trash modern day. Copy and paste houses copy and paste people nothing but a bunch of ***holes today. Nothing but ignorant people.
$
@@JohnShinn1960 yeah well people seriously need to learn that *"$"* isn't everything. When you die you can't take it to the grave. So let those money hungry, trashy people waste their life cause that's all they're doing. So wonderful luck to them. There's my point, trashy people.
I used to smoke cigarettes. The one apartment that I lived in you were allowed to smoke in there and I know it got into the vents and everything.
That double door bathroom you got to be careful you don't walk in on somebody if they came in on the other side and you come in on the opposite side you could walk in on somebody taking a poo poo.
Too late, I've lived in a home that had one.
😲
@@JohnShinn1960 LOL , oh ok.
