    I have been messing around with a ball of yarn wondering if I could use it to fix my weak locs and lengthen some that had broken off. And while CZcams binging, your awesome video popped up! Thank you so much for this great tip, I have never heard of yarn extensions before and it completely solved my dilemma. Totally feel you,, when you live in a place where there is not a lot of blk people you have to become creative when it come to hair care and using natural products. Love the video!

    Hey, I know this video is a bit old. But I was wondering, how long do you leave the yarn in? Wondering if it could be permanent?

    • @jaharaj652
      @jaharaj652  Před 6 lety +2

      Laquilla Gillians hi! I wouldn’t say it could be permanent but semi-permanent! I don’t take all the yarn out of my hair at once. When a piece starts looking a little ratchet (or one falls off from pulling) I just cut it off and add new yarn. So all the yarn in my hair is of various ages. Some of it is probably a year or more old. I wouldn’t encourage that if it were a full protective style, but as extensions, I think it’s fine!!
