The top view it helps. It's there any view for the handle so we know how much pressure he applies for the corner. The metrics of brake timing and pressure would help for us to learn. Great videos thank you 😊

thank you kimono for all these moments to practice to improve. Suden front braking always scares me, we should see how to use the rear brake in this phase so as not to lose the front of the bike.

My partner always tell me if I don't start something new with some excuses, I will never be able to overcome. He also says it's OK to start to practice with slow speed. Let's practice these more and more and overcome them togather😄
@@kimonoracing I know that I have to get there !!!! ... Do you have to let go of the brake at once or slowly in degress while you are locking ? And just after...the rear brake maintains the inclination or it is not necessary? and so I understand, I think, why the head is oriented outside for a short moment.

Ha, ha it is not a secret at all. I use Power Director for editing videos. I guess that is a Taiwanese software. If I were Mac user, maybe I might try Final Cut Pro, as it looks like very user-friendly, too.
This video was awesome and a revelation for me! I did not know we want to collapse the front shocks in turning. I guess it provides greater traction that way. Also how does the rider shift their weight during full lock cornering? Move forward I think?

My teacher showed me sharp turns can be done without any brakes (at beginner level). And I was on the motorcycle with him while he did it !! Very impressive
He said "I would like you to do this" and I said "I would looove to do this !!"
He laughed and then I didn't laugh spending the next 2hours turning around 4 cones and not really making it : I think it's in my head but I feel like I'm going to fall over the bike if I suddenly turn the handlebar.
Any additional advice on that?

Your teacher may have told you already, let's avoid to turn with the handlebar, but your knees support you to turn.
When I was a a beginner, my teacher said "Hey, imagine your knees are holding JPY 10,000 notes(=US 130 dollars notes) each side of the tank!" and, I thought "OMG, I don't want to lose 20,000 yen!😰I will never have gaps with knees and the tank" That is how I learnt gripping by knees support me to turn naturally.
Please do not push the tank suddnely with your knee. Cornering with being pushed by an outside knee starts when a front brake is used.

I do keep my knees tight on the tank (I still love the money story, efficient image!), but maybe I should work on using them to support the turn and not in a "it's the only thing keeping me up here" way 😅
I focus a lot on keeping my upper body relaxed but I will try to be more mindful of what my knees do next time. Thank you for your help !

Fantastic videos, I've always wanted some clues on motogymkana techniques. I ride a heavy bike with semi handlebars, are some turns impossible to make or is there hope?
Hi! Thanks! To be honest, it could be difficult to ride very fast, but in terms of the safety, I think you can acheive good skills enough to ride on public streets with confidence!😆 Before starting to practice like Moto Gymkhana, I was never able to turn propaly on streets and often fell off.🤣
That's my concern, on the streets I'm ok but I'd love to be able to make U turns better, but I'm afraid to drop the bike. Thanks for your videos, cheers @@kimonoracing

Am I right that throttle should no be closed fully before "sudden breaking"? (Meaning - we should remain just a tiny bit of throttle?)

how about the body position when we do full lock handed by intention? Does the body position related to the entry speed?

Many riders say the best style is sitting in the line with the bike in any circumstances (w/ or w/o speed) for Moto Gymkhana .😄

Can you explain the difference in the rider's head position through the turn, please? With the controlled steering method the rider does not look at his exit point all through the turn.

I am trying it in practice and it helps me accept the uncomfortable sensation of falling associated with the bars reaching full lock, but while this seems to help me, I am sure that experienced riders do it for a far better reason as they would be happy with the falling sensation.
I am also happier with the full lock moment by briefly closing my eyes, which is clearly a silly thing to do.
Also, you talk about manually turning the bars to full lock, but there are other conditions to being able to do this.
I have experienced the feeling where the bars are "light" and I can manually turn to full lock, but I am unsure of what is allowing this (perhaps it is simply the as the speed reduces) because if I were to manually turn the bars to full lock at other times this would force the bike to stand up.
I still don't see any videos to explain the specialized head movements. I see @kimonoracing uses the technique herself. Is it difficult to explain in detail in English? I.e., there appears to be several sub-movements ranging from outside/away from the turn to inside/toward the turn. How? When? Why?

So you pull the front brake lever till the bike reaches full lock...is there the risk of bike turning off? How to avoid it? I could be wrong but I've never seen gymkhana riders using the clutch at all...
Hi. Thanks for asking the question. I recommend you to start to use a strong front brake in straights, and you will find it isn't lock easily even though you use it hard.
Then, gradually get accustomed to locking fully, then you can use strong front brakes. That is how I practiced. I hope that would helpful for you.
As for clutch, some riders with motorcycles with single cylinder use clutches in rotations. 😁
