Not at all! I’m actually working on a porcelain tile slab from Home Depot. As far as clay, I prefer Sculpey Premo, and Soufflé. Steer clear of Sculpey lll, it’s not great, and I don’t want you to waste your money. Also, get an acrylic roller and cutters. Instagram has tons of small businesses that sell clay cutters. I hope this helps! ❤️

Hi Carolyn! It depends for me, on how I want my pieces to hang. My go-to sizes are 8-10mm.
