Cause it allows the plexiglass to not be blocked by port. And the way it loads sounds lower. We just had to dynamat the roof and back hatch cause it did flex. The port faceing rear hits back wall and load’s everything forward.

Skar subs are good entry level subs. But if it were me if I was going to spend that kind of money for a custom box, I’d getting better subs. Sundown, deaf bonce, ds18, ct sounds, fi audio are subs worth getting a custom box. Skar subs are good for prefab. My setup is a fi audio mt 12 on a jp 43 amp in a down for sound pro fab box.

Hey man, very sharp looking work. How did you attach the plexi from the inside without seeing any hardware on the outside? Thanks man.
The plexiglass is attached with screws and the top panel is slightly larger to hide the screws for a cleaner look.
I wonder if thats glass or plastic.... I work at a place that has access to bullet proof acrylic but I'd be interested to know the thickness here

Which side plastic frame exactly? Everything rattles a little bit even after we applied deadner. That’s part of having a big system
