It looks like water when I look at it. But I cannot wait to try them mountain dew flavors!
3 months later and the label looks different compare to the once that have arrived in public. Like it looks different in the video and the public once too.

Looks like it got released early here in Central FL. Found MT Dew Ice at Walmart last night on 1/22. It's actually decent.
Mountain Dew used to be a clear soda just like this when it first came out in Johnson City Tennessee. It was more of a lemon lime soda. The orange juice and yellow or not added until much later. Several years ago PepsiCo decided that down the road they were going to push the Mountain Dew brand so that meant that not all Mountain Dew branded sodas or going to taste like Mountain Dew.
I cannot wait to taste it. I have positive feelings about this.
It tastes like Original recipe Sprite from the 90's/ Sierra Mist.
true. I noticed that. there's a place I used to go to with my father to grab burgers and they always had the best fountain sprite. on ice, this new ice tastes a lot like that. to me now it seems like a sweeter 7up.

Holiday Brew is a mix of Mountain Dew and Code Red. It doesn't hide that they mix them as it says it right on the package. Mountain Dew Ice is their version of Sprite. They said it was created to compete with Sprite and 7 Up, the main Lemon Lime sodas

Yes, we have tried Dewshine. And the flavor is different, where Dewshine actually tasted (somewhat) like Mountain Dew, this doesn't really have any Dew flavor, just lemon lime with a caffeine kick!
dewshine was my favorite soda because of the light citrus taste and comparatively low fizz. would ICE be a good replacement? if not, what would you recommend? thanks for responding.
gameboy3800 Having had both, this is much closer to Sierra Mist/ Mist Twist than Dew Shine. It's got a heavy citrus taste and I'd say an average fizz to it.

Ice has some strong bite to it. More lemon lime flavor than 7up or Sprite. Where's the diet version?
Sorry, I don't think Mountain Dew will be making a diet version of this one. But it would be interesting!
I just tried this. It is sprite. Nothing different than sprite. With a diet soda aftertaste.
I keep seeing all the comments saying it's Sprite. Nope.
It's a lot more like a 7up.

No one is missing out on this flavor. It's just another Sprite, 7up, and Sierra Mist Twst clone.

A lot of nationwide commercials started during the Super Bowl. We were lucky enough to get it well ahead of that!
I really like it myself. Taste really nice: crisp, refreshing, and I think less syrupy than traditional Dues. Hopefully just enough caffeine to get me through the day. BTW, how does it compare to dnL?
My son bought me a case of it tonight. I am not a fan of it. I am going to drink one and done. Weak Sierra Mist. Blech.
I just had this, it tastes like they tried to add a tiny bit of Mountain Dew flavor to Sprite but the flavors kinda clashed a little. You only get the Mountain Dew at the end. I think it's because of the caffeine in it. It's not really that good IMO.

taste like the new nasty Sierra Mist ( Mist Twist).. Kinda disgusting. I miss the Original Sierra Mist. So in short its just Caffeinated Mist Twist.

I'm really not a fan of this, it's a watered down Sierra Mist (Mist Twst) to me. They're both owned by PepsiCo so I wouldn't be surprised if anything happened because of that relationship.

I agree. I am trying it for the first time right now and it does taste a bit like a more watery Mist. It's not horrible but I prefer every other major lemon-lime soda over this. I drink my Mountain Dew in the morning (instead of coffee) because I cant and dont want to have caffeine later in the day due to sleep issues so I prefer other Mountain Dews over this and always drank 7up and Sprite because they do not have the caffeine
Ppl are being way to nice lol it was a fail!!! I rather drink store brand lemon lime. I love mostly all dew flavors but this one by far the worst

I just tried this today in a two liter bottle and here are my thoughts. It is terrible. The fizz is so strong I can barely taste any lemon lime at all. To me it taste like a strong club soda that was soaked with a few lime wedges in it. It might have the strongest fizz of any soft drink I've ever had. It feels like it burns my mouth and throat on the first swallow it is so strong.
Yuck! I hate the "alternative" sweeteners they are using in the non-Diet Dew category! I will try it however, I doubt that I will like the typical aftertaste of these "sweeteners."
