How do the chips feel under foot? Do they stick out of the epoxy, or do they just sink into it? I was expecting you to have to do a second layer of clear epoxy to lock them in

They sit on top. You can’t really feel they, they basically sit flush. I know you can add another coat on top, but it doesn’t really need it.
