Let's go
Respirator always!!!
You have hart for you're work I can tell you love it.. Good to see.. I am from netherlands and also work in flooring.. We mainly are doing flake floors... And what you are doing is top notch
I've used commercial grade epoxy for a company based out of baton rouge Louisiana, man power an skill an knowing product timing is essential. I enjoyed doing all the raising canes restaurants in Louisiana all the way to Huston and even residential floors and car ports, garages. From flake to pearl I miss the trade!!
Letâs Go!Doing by myself on a smaller project in basement this Saturday đđŁLetâs go!đđœđȘđœđȘđœđȘđœ
Great Video, and thank you for the explanation.
1- What's the life expectancy in a normal house- few kids?
2- What type of tool do you use to clean? Special mop?
Let's go.. yes I am going to add an extra DIY to my business. I've got a lot in mind for this. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching and best of luck to you!
Letâs gooooo! Going to give this a shot with my own company as our first flooring 1st project this Sunday! đđŸđ€đŸ wish us luck!
So exciting! We hope your project went so well!đ„
Howâd it go bro? Whatâs your IG
Looking to ad this to my services also
How did it go
We all want to know how it went
Definitely can do this. Iâve had experience in epoxy on smaller projects and this will be easy. Finding help is the problem đ
I feel you on that
go to ur nearest home depot
Let's go!
I recently moved into a rancher with a slab foundation. The laminate wood floors are looking a bit rough, and I'm seriously considering doing epoxy floors.
How exciting! For reference, here is an epoxy flooring project we did over wood subfloor! czcams.com/video/qOXqsk4HCdY/video.html
You can check out our metallic epox yflooring options here. leggari.com/order-flooring/#metallic-epoxy-kits

That looks great! It's awesome that y'all help out like that
Thanks đ
Letâs go !! Man I just showed my wife this video and weâre definitely game for knocking this out.
I just received my kit Iâm goin to be doin my bedroom super excited to see the finished product
LETS GO!!!!!!!!! I have experience usoing epoxy on custom cups and would love to take it to the next step!
Would really love how to learn to do this. You guys do amazing stuff
Thanks for this video! Weâre applying clear epoxy to exposed aggregate, ground concrete. Itâs going to look fantastic đ
LET'S GOOOOOO
I WAS TRYNA GET I. THE CLASS BEFORE COVID I WAS GONNA TAKE THE FLIGHT FROM MD. EXCELLENT WORK BEEN FOLLOWING FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS
Great video and products, you really take the time to explain the process Iâve seen a few of your videos recently, theyâre very informative how can I go about leaning more is there a class or some like that. Thanks
Starting a company to do this. got my first project starting today. Thanks for the help!
update us! how is it going?
Awesome tutorial - thank you! Could you elaborate more on the spraying with alcohol?
Great Video!!! Very informative. We polish concrete working into doing more epoxy.
LETS GO! Your videos are awesome and give me hope I can do this myself.
Do I have to use a concrete grinder or can I use acid? Also, I know you use a big water scrubbing machine to clean after grinding. Does a water pressure washer do the trick?
I want to learn everything about this product, mixing and applying appoxy will be a dream come.
This is an amazing process we are thinking of getting into this business, I think there is plenty of demand where we live!
Let's go. I did epoxy coat in my garage 15yrs ago. Needs a little help now. Maybe in spring I will fix it. It's January now.
Thats awesome, yes, reach out to us if you have any questions!
I bought and installed the leggari garage floor kit about 4 years ago and I have a 2'x2' spot starting to bubble and chip. Any advice on how to fix this one spot without having to redo the entire garage? Product turned out great and get a lot of complements. Just need to repair this eye sore
This dude is a good teacher - calm and helps you feel confident while you're doing the action. Rare in this kind of work. My question is did you guys sand this or did you not have to bc you did the epoxy layer first? Or is this a new construction and you didn't feel like you needed to?
more than likely used a grinder on the floor before anything
The floor was shot blasted to make it really porous, then we did a thin coat of epoxy to seal the poors and minimize outgassing. This layer also creates an extremely strong bong with the concrete so it'll last a LONG time. From there the decorative coat can be installed. ALWAYS prep the surface to ensure a strong bond between the substrate and coating productsđŻ
Yessir! Always prep the substrateđ„ Our favorite prepping tool is a shot blaster to establish a porous surface and create a strong bond.
Excellent teacher, great job!
Thanks! Much appreciated
Great tutorial great job đđŻ
How would you recommend starting with this process. (Everything prior to this video) as in what materials do you use, whatâs the mixing process, how do you prep the floor/areas, etc
Thank you for your video. I think the ideas and advice given are very good. Thank you very much. I'm going to do two bathrooms, ok, and I already have the idea. Well, I make bases for tables and bars, but I've never made a floor. duseño would have been better if they had applied the longest black lines and more liquid they almost do not shine
Looks great. Excellent tutorial. So can you do this inside on a basement floor and what are the attachments on their sneakers, how do the spies not track product? Love this concept â€ïž
Yes you can! Leggari spiked shoes allow you to walk on the wet epoxy without messing up the design! Check them out leggari.com today!
the spikes have a point to them that always walking above the epoxy it works well but can b slippery when walking leggari has alot videos on what types of prep primer to use and the process for grinding or etching concrete and sanding epoxy before top coat !!!cheers !!!
Finshed up my first expoxy floor today. Couldn't be happier with it. 0:58
I wanna see do you have a gram?
LET'S GO!!! I'd love to set up an installation company. But tell me, is the actual doing of it as a business even half as fun / satisfying as watching the videos?
LETS goooooo!! starting my own epoxy business in a few months!!!
This is an AMAZING video. Iâm pullinâ the trigger and doing this for our shop. I am hoping you have full kits on your website down to the cleats!

I reallly really want to spend 2 months working with you guys on projects! free labour and pay for the course!
Letâs go. I just took a fulfillment partner position with a concrete coatings company. Already invested in a trailer and 4K of tools.
How do you clean the tools and with what? Say I had two jobs in a day; maybe best to have two sets of everything or is clean up fast.
Also prepping the floor from motor oil spots to cracks? You have anything out there?
Excellent work.
Thank you!
Let's Go!
Looks awesome guys.
When you put the 1st sealer coat for outgrowing why did you not score the floor again before pouring the basecoat? Also do you need respirators when applying?
Great stuff - would love to do this - from Perth Western Australia
This looks amazing and I want my basement done in red and gold
Let's Go! I would like to offer this as a service with my company. But have to experiment with it and get a feel for it.
Loool u used all that metallic epoxy and then dulled it all out dang ... Loved the whole process just about to do my garage
Let's go I'm a resin artist and I'm excited to do my floors
Great video! You're the boss I wish I had
I still do odd little jobs with resin but tried a conservatory floor, big kitchen, and utility room floor on my own,was a disaster and put me off for life, gutted because it's amazing to work with.
Thank you so much and glad it helped!
Letâs Go! Gonna try this for my kitchen floor!
Do it! Be sure to send final product pictures our way once you're done! We love to see what customers come up with.đ„
@@LeggariProducts will send pics for sure our house is old and on a concrete foundation so we may end up doing all of the floors in the house depending on how this goes. Thanks for the inspiration!
Let's GO!! 400 Sq. foot garage floor. It has a taper to it for water drainage so that's something I have questions about...a slight taper, which a high percentage of garage floors will have...just don't want my product to run out and down the driveway...lol.
Yes most garage floors do have a taper! If it's minimal, you'll just want to keep and eye on things but typically it isn't that much of a concern. You can also install the epoxy after letting it sit in the bucket for a little while-it wouldn't be as fluid but you would have to spread it on the floor more quickly. A great solution for this is our flake floor kits-they are seamless, very easy to install, and hide any imperfections beautifullyđđ leggari.com/order-flooring/#flake-floor-kits
@@LeggariProducts ...they also cut grooves/channels in the floor for water drainage. Obviously I need to fill(?) in those channels and fix any imperfe tions(cracks, damage to the concrete floor) before anything else. I appreciate your time and knowledge on pointing me in the right direction. The prep work will mean everything with this project I do believe.
Iâm working on an upstairs room with some spots along the wall that have about a inch of separation. Should in all my baseboards first?
Say Iâm doing a big floor and your doing sections , do you have a certain time to make sure when you do the next section the new section still flows with the old ?
I just got 3 H&C shield Crete kits, gallon of clear coat and a bag of flakes for free from my neighbor. Spent the past few days scrubbing the floor to just realize Iâm gunna have to grind it after all(last owner put peel n stick carpet out there so no oil stain ever got cleaned up for many decades)đ should I use something like behr concrete primer before applying the epoxy floor? My slab is in a floodplain so it always has some humidity, I read in multiple articles that it works well for paint(my original plan before I got all the free epoxy stuff) Iâm curious if I should still use the primer or if I should just return it with the other paint supplies. Also itâll be in a garage thatâs going to get wet in the winter, will it be slippery?
Question, me and my wife want matte finish epoxy floors in our new house. We currently have stained concrete. Ive noticed in some lighting you can see where our dogs have scratched across the floor and some areas are faded. Do epoxy floors hold up well with animals and fading?
Like the content and finish guys just want to know do you have to machine sand the floors first, or can you just acid wash on bare concrete? Also how hard wearing is it ie car tires etc
Great videos thank you

I have a 250sq ft basement room I want to epoxy, I removed all the tile and started to remove the left over thinset. I got about a quarter removed, was wondering do I need to remove everybit of thinset down to bare concrete or is okay to knock just the high spots down and leave the rest with standard grooves. Will the epoxy fill in the gaps? Or should I use a self leveling concrete on the whole floor first or continue to chisel/grind the thinset down? (So much dust)
What are some steps to do a basement with a semi rough floor will you need to be sure the surface is smooth or no ?
Can I pour new epoxy on an existing epoxy floor? And does the garage floor need to be level?
Do Epoxy floors absorb sound or reflect it? Kind of curious, thinking of doing this in my basement.
Let's go! Gonna do this on my small shop floor
Amazing! Be sure to send us before and after pictures of your project! We love to see customer projectsđ„
Very nice work sir
This was so gorgeous
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure!
Guys i would just love to see you do a waterfall kitchen island with the mitre edge..i imagine it being almost impossible to coat a vertical surface with epoxy..but what if you pre build an island, take it apart into 3 pieces, the legs and the top aligned next to each other..coating all 3 pieces with a similar pattern of veins just running from the top down the legs mimicking a seamless black marble with white veins maybe larger ones with the paint stick en smaller ones with the paint can and then reassemble the pieces

where do you get the spikes I am doing this on my basement floor of my investment property I have worked with epoxy before easy to do and lasts forever and looks great
What's the difference between rolling epoxy or pouring it and spreading it with a squeqee like in this vid? I saw these two ways now, and was wondering.
If you're laying it down on cractile, will it make all the tile pieces stick together and B as one.
Without falling apart
Do we need a particular shoes for this? How many hours/days it took to dry?
Good afternoon. Tell me, is it necessary to pass the primer before applying the resin?
Great video
hi mate thx video so good , but i have some question , if customs wanna glossy not like Matte , what is use for top coat?
thx so much
Do you Have a video on doing this over ceramic tile? I want to do it in my basement
Why do you spray denatured alcohol on this coat ? Do you spray it on the entire floor ? Should this floor be rolled toward the end and if so, rolled before or after spraying it with denatured alcohol ? Thanks.
do you have to scuff the clear coat (physical adhesion), or are you doing it while the clear is still wet (chemical adhesion)?

How sturdy is the epoxy flooor then? Considering it's an acrylate does it scratch easily?.

My husband and I have seriously been thinking about adding epoxy garage floors to our business, currently he has done HVAC and commercial buildings for 35+ years and we have started a residential handyman company so we thought this would be a great thing to learn and then add on especially with the amount of construction in our area and the insane popularity of it. The companies who do it are booked out for months if not years. Any suggestions on how to learn and what the best way is to get started? I am a little bit of a perfectionist and donât want to offer a service Iâm not confident in my ability to deliver as near to perfection as humanly possibly!
I do a lot of woodworking and want to start adding epoxy to my projects and expanding that also. Lately Iâve mostly been doing the wood flag concealment boxes. Theyâre so popular I stay pretty busy with just that but would like to do some different things to stave off complete boredom!

I'm already loving it but I wonder if it's more costly than marble or not? Please reply people
? I know you do a lot of countertops and table tops. I am building a worktable and a drawing table. Both will be used to paint acrylics on canvases. Each one will have some pour artwork done on it and possibly extra design work done. I want them to be art pieces in and of themselves. I will get acrylic paint on them and it will have to be removed after drying because acrylic dries that fast. Would epoxy be a good way to go, or would I be better doing Latex paints and then glass on the drawing table and possibly on the work table plexiglass? I am wondering if epoxy I could just buff it out if I add some extra layers of clear to the top. Possibly have to re-add later more clear? I do use my worktables for some woodworking too, so that is why I was thinking that epoxy might be a good choice? Would love to hear your thoughts? I subscribed because I do plan to do some works that your product would work on.

Great video! What if you don't add the final dull portion to the flooring and just leave it shiny looking?
We recommend adding a topcoat for durability and depending on how it is applied, the topcoat can take away some of the shine.
Find topcoats @ Leggari.com.
LETS GO!!!
Iâm in Northern California. Sacramento/Stockton Area. What would be the rate per sf here? There is competition.
Also is urethane harder than epoxy? Why use it as the top coat?
Have you ever used polyurea or polyasparatic? These compound seem to be very expensive and I am wondering what the use case would be for these.
That is good job
did they forget to do the edges of base before putting highlights? Do we HAVE to do a primer on? being that first coat after prep/grinding.
Thinking of doing this to my kitchen floor. But base floor is plywood, would it still stick?
