Very informative and interesting! I also collect and sometimes strip wire for scrap! Thanks for sharing Chuck! 😊

Thanks for stopping by my friend. I have been scrapping since 2008. I have learned a lot from many. It's time to give back.

👍Very, very informative and professionally done video. Always wanted to know if it was worth stripping the wire or not, now I know. Thanks Chuck.

Thanks for stopping by Frank, I really believe that if a person doesn't have a stripping machine like mine it wouldn't be time effective. Also the scrap yard has to pay more than mine.

It is worth stripping in my area. Prices are alot higher than $2.45 for #2. If you're prices jump you might change your mind.

Thanks for stopping by. My yard is a very rural yard and prices aren't as good as Phoenix. Of course that's a 150 mile round trip. I am sure most yards would be a better #2 price.

I understand. If you have to travel it adds expenses. Got to love the Strip Meister.

@@robbiedunnett4911 Diesel prices are down where I buy, but it still adds to the loss. The Strip Meister is my favorite tool

Aye and Ya’ll! Hahaha. I catch myself doing the exact same thing. It is what it is. So this is interesting. I have lots of copper waste that I’ve been just sitting on. Hmmmmm…. I kind of wanted to save it all and pour some ingots, but then I’d have to waste more money on all of that….

I am still going to sell #2 copper from motors and transformers. All the insulated cords will go as is.I will still strip all building wire for #1bare bright.

@@CandSMINING it makes sense to me. There’s money to be made and I like how you broke it down because yea, you can strip but is it worth your time for the small stuff?!?!?! You proved that. Awesome job
