- So Pushkar is a very important place in Rajasthan, India. I have heard stories about this place since I was a child. I think it does tick quite a few boxes when it comes to stereotypical India, its spirituality, one of its many pilgrimage sites, it is the place where Lord Brahma lives. Not only Hindus are there though, it is also a major point for foreigners all around the world that want to go to this place and maybe even bathe in its waters at the holy lake. I am very happy that I came here with my family as my kids absolutely love the laid back atmosphere. If you want to see our amazing hotel you can watch the previous video but this here is the first impressions video and also the first breakfast video. We do love it very much.

You are shocked about Western restaurants in India, however I think it is important to try different foods from around the world to have a holistic perspective. India has Momos and also a franchise called Wow Momo. But I also like Mandu, Jaozi, Khinkali, Manti, Klepe ,Pierogi and Plemeni.
Oh no, I am not shocked about Western restaurants, this is alright and there are many western foods in India. The only thing is that many western people go to India and are so proud of themselves and tell everybody but they would never dare to eat real local food, they only ever go to these traveler restaurants and pay way more money. I think one should have enough respect for a local culture to actually eat their food - this not only in India but all around the world. I see this everywhere in so many countries. My family and I eat real local food everywhere but we NEVER see any other foreigner eating it. This is what bothers me a bit, you know.
@@yvesthesleeve people like you are real travelers. People like you don't just come for tajmahal or some monuments in Delhi or Goa . Soul of India lies in these areas like Pushkar or Southern states like Tamilnadu, eastern states like Odisha, Central states like MP etc. You will find true Indian culture and hospitality there.

These are all scammers, esp at the lake where the so called 'brahmins' cheat people for money.
You should have gone to the place right in front of the lake. It's a good and cheap place to eat. Been there three times. Anyway, next time may be. 🙂
This is a totally expensive place, you have no idea what things should cost in India.
