- In this video I will review the POC Ventral Aero helmet. I have reviewed the Ventral Air before and it was one of my favorite helmets so let's see if the Aero version can compete with the Air. I test the Medium size which is 54-59cm. My head is about a 57.5cm and it fits very well.

Great review! Thanks for posting. I completed a 3 hour cruise with the same one (after owning the non mips Octal for 8+ year) this morning & to me it’s even better than the lid it replaced. Mine is the same color as yours but isn’t the newest tech as it’s mips - It was just as comfy as the Octal but what’s extra cool is wind noise is SO low (even lower than the Octal) which I Love. Yes the orange is kinda loud but I’d rather been seen then not seen!
Very helpful for Florida cyclists. I was wondering if the closed top would be good to keep your head out of the sun, but your point about blocking the air is super helpful!
POC helmets look distinctively Euro. I think it's cool.

Love the colors. Liking the ventral air more. Thanks for the review on both! By the way, is the ear loops adjustable?
Yes they are adjustable on both. It can be a bit tricky but not too bad. I agree, I like the AIR better myself. It looks a bit better and has better ventilation. I am currently testing the Ventral Lite Air and it is nice and light but does not have adjustable straps like the others. My fav of the three would be the regular Ventral Air.

POC helmets remind me of a night toilet bowl
in very hot weather, the choice is obvious - this is Ventral Air. But which helmet do you prefer in spring, early summer and autumn?
And another question: if you were offered to choose only one helmet, which one would you choose?)
I don't understand why these expensive helmets don't have a sun visor? Would make a great accessory I'd buy.
