See, the title of this video had me thinking there was a native way to turn off the controller via some button press. Removing the battery from ANYTHING will turn it off. Come on now.

It's a shame they haven't thought of adding a switch to the controllers. I find when watching movies through the browser the controller will stay on the whole time causing battery drain or sometimes cause the screen to freak out and start clicking because it has lost tracking in the controller.
The same goes with hand tracking. I wish there was a button in the menu to enable and disable it. As again trying to watch media and relax doesn't seem to work too well with tracking enabled. It freaks out and starts clicking the screen

when i power on my meta quest 3, the meta quest logo lasts for 20 seconds

im sick of it. every time i take my quest 3 out of my bag i can't use it because the controllers switch themselves on in the bag and by the time i get the itch to play they are dead. I can't stand it!

I believe it´s the Quest 3 stand by function that´s causing it. I´ll turn it off. See if that function is ON on yours.
