Omg no - a puzzle at Christmas is not an old person thing. It is a Christmas tradition for many families!! We always have a puzzle going at Christmas. And it helps us all pause and spend a little time together during this busy season. We touch base or catch up for a bit and it’s a lovely tradition!! ❤
The very cartoonish moment of Neo's stroller rolling away was priceless 😅. And despite Raya's voice almost being gone and feeling under the weather a bit, she surprisingly has an abundance of energy. :) Hope you feel better soon Raya. Great mini adventure vlog guys.
Lewes is famous for its Bon Fire night on November 5th . It also has connection to the American Revolution. I believe Thomas Paine was from there .
I was so surprised to see that book about Ramadan as a Muslim myself. And when you said you want to learn about other holidays too. Teaching Neo that it really touched me. I'm sure there's many more Muslim viewers who watch you guys and other youtubers. But thank you for making me feel seen 🥲💚 Neo is so lucky to have you both as parents

Neo's growing up so fast!!! One super helpful tip I learned for middle of the night feeding and changing. Have a light where there is a red light bulp in the room you feed and change him. Only use this light and all others off. You'll be able to see, but it won't interfere with his circadian rhythm and he'll have less issues falling back asleep and so will you. Hope it helps! ❤ Also love the puzzle idea, we did that every Christmas as a kid starting on Thanksgiving and we always got a couple of new family puzzles for Christmas from Santa every year. It's such an incredible memory that hope to continue with my family.
My daughter turned 10yrs yesterday and I love buying kids books from the charity shop every week 20p each!!! we need another bookcase. We still adore anything Julia Donaldson and the little animations on christmas day, The Gruffalo, Gruffalos Child, Room on the Broom, Snail and the Whale, Highway Rat, Stick Man and this christmas I believe Tabby McTat. xxx
My daughter is obsessed with books, both regular books and kids' books. She loves vintage books. She has a bedroom she made into a reading library. It's her quiet space.
I feel like I'm getting to see another side of Raya during Vlogmas so far!! I LOVE IT!!!

The tunnel for Neo was one of my childrens favorite toys. A little tent was also well loved. I once found my 5 year old "reading" a book to his 2 year old brother in the tent. My grandma was a puzzle lover. She always had a puzzle on the go and when the grandchildren visited, we all tried to help her. Love those memories. Hope you are feeling better Raya.
I love the vlogmas opening animation! I can tell that you both want Neo to have wonderful Christmas memories and I thought maybe sharing this would help.
My mother died in 1981 when I was 10 years old. Mom loved celebrating holidays, and as a former kindergarten teacher, she knew how to make them magical. One thing I remember is cuddling in the dark with only the tree lights on and singing Christmas carols together. Also, we never had any gifts out or under the tree until Christmas morning. It made Christmas morning that much more magical!❤ We also knew there was no peeking into the living room until Mom was ready with the camera, and Dad was ready with the video recorder (yes, we had home movies, but it didn't record sound). I treasure the look of amazement on our little faces in those pictures and videos, and we did the same with our own children. 😊
Something my husband and I have in common with you is we love travel, so as we raised our boys we focused our funds on adventures instead of "things". They are now 26 and 22 and they both say they had a wonderful childhood. 😊
One last tradition.....
Every place we went on those adventures, I bought a Christmas ornament as a souvenir. Our younger son is now in the US Navy, and when he comes home at Christmas time, we all look at those ornaments on the tree and reminisce about our trips.
I want to thank you for still continuing to give your dog so much attention even though you have a child now ! I love your dog so much ! So adorable! Just love that dog
My life has been crazy the past few months so here I am enjoying your first Christmas with Neo in Feb. Loving that you are starting family traditions to last a lifetime. BTW puzzles definitely are not just for old people, it is how your brain works.
I’m loving vlogmas. The advent calendars, Neo’s daily Christmas outfit (please showcase more, like the 1st vlog), Raya drinking tea while doing the puzzle. So relaxing. You two are now making your own family traditions. Keep it up! ❤

If you are looking for kids books, check out Robert Munsch: Love You Forever (will make you cry), The Paper Bag Princess (empowerment) and Mud Puddle (fun). Munsch has a way of telling a story through the imaginative eyes of a child. He has a new Christmas book, too: Finding Christmas. Raya, there is a line of 3D puzzles you might want to check out. They are called Robotime puzzles. You build the puzzle, but it is also a music box, light, clock or has movement.

I love the town of Lewes, little quaint ships, bonfire night is great here, the brewery & the prison, Castle and Anne of Cleeves House. you need to go to Arundel Castle too and the walk around the lake behind the castle is lovely, plus the little shops there too. enjoy exploring.
Puzzles are fun. I have an Advent puzzle where you put 42 pieces together each day over 24 days until the whole puzzle is done.

Lewes? I've been there to take the bus to Charleston, the house that Vanessa Bell (sister of Virginia Woolf) lived in. It's beautiful with all the walls painted with murals. A must visit.
A fun thing with the 'That's not my....." books, there's a mouse on each page and we used to say to our daughter "Where's the mousy?" and over time she started to understand and began pointing at it, it was so cute!
Have you seen the advent calendar/puzzle???? Each day you get a portion of a puzzle to put together, and it creates a larger puzzle at the end. It looks amazing, and I think Raya would love it! (someone may have already mentioned this)

I enjoy your vlogmas so much! Louis’ drive last year was really exciting and nerve-racking, but it’s also nice with the more cozy vlogs, where we don’t have to fear Louis not coming home for Christmas 😂 I spend a month in Brighton/Shoreham-by-Sea almost 10 years ago, and it’s nice being able to refresh some of my memories through your vlogs. I’m looking forward to spending Christmas with you! 🎄✨

First off puzzles are so much fun and not just for old people! My partner and I are doing puzzles to create a mural for one of our walls in our house!

Loving Vlogmas. Never have to many books. I am a big book collected and the children's book I would put some away for 6 months then put them out and put the others away.
