I also grew up watching Saturn & just like Christian I have never seen him as a Legend.
His career was that long but realistically his main days were 95-03

Perry's one of your best Interviewees, he tells tales of old it like it's yesterday. And tells it like mates who've known each other for years. No tangents, just straight up honest answers. Watched Saturn since 95 and never saw a bad match, great to see him back again !!

Luger didn't make a 7-figure salary when he came back to WCW. Sting nudged Bischoff to bring Luger in. Bischoff didn't want to so he offered Luger less than he was making at WWF AND less than Lex made at WCW before going to WWF. Bischoff didn't expect Luger to accept the offer but he did.
After a while, Bischoff acknowledged that Luger was professional and did his part, so he gave him a raise.
Definitely not 7 figures, but probably around 500k

I'm pretty sure in that interview from The Legends Roundtable we're both drawing from Bischoff also said that even after the raise Luger wasn't making the same money at WCW as he was making before he left for WWE. I don't know if Bischoff said Luger was professional since he said that Luger thought he was better than the boys and acted accordingly. Luger did, however, show up for matches...a few of them good...and, most importantly, he was best friends with Sting and that didn't hurt Luger's situation with Bisch.

The problem with Randy is that I don't think anyone really knew the 'real' Randy Savage because Randy became 'The Macho Man'. Some people don't realize that Randy didn't really talk like that. He was in character all day, every day. You can even go watch interviews of Hulk talking about how Randy was still 'talking' in character even when they were relaxing on their time off. Even Hulk didn't quite get it but of course you have to respect Randy's total commitment to the wrestling industry and maintaining the illusion. Was Randy really high strung? Maybe but that was also part of his character which he never dropped.
There's a video out wwe released backstage with macho man and surfer sting talking, you can hear the first few seconds, randy talk normal.

I don’t like the way the business did Perry Saturn great worker, great talent what was the problem?
He literally tried to kill a guy in the ring. Than he got shot and ended up homeless and addicted to meth. Very tragic but yeah he got pissed at rookie or jobber. Saturn legit nearly killed the kid cuz he thought he had botched a move on purpose
