Exploring Salt Pond Bay on Saint John USVI - Episode 53

We ended up sailing around to the south side of St. John and spent several days in Salt Pond Bay. There was so much to do there and we could have spent more time exploring, but we had to get moving as a weather window approaches that will allow us to sail on to St. Martin.
Follow along as we see some amazing fish (including a color changing one) while snorkeling, we hike to the top of the point, clean the bottom of our boat, sneak off for a little shopping, then head out for Lameshire Bay next door.

The ruins on Rams Head overlooking SPB are amazing as well. We did a week at Concordia the Eco resort you can see on the hillside a long ways back for our Honeymoon. There used to be a great Sunday Jazz brunch at Ms.Lucies between Salt Pond and Coral Bay. It's my favorite part of St.John hands down. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. It's time to get back to St.john.

Great snorkeling. The cow fish is my sons favorite. I think the white/brown is a damsel not a chromis. I love just hanging out watching the turtles. Just cool creatures.
