I actually loved john lydons song last year, and occasionally look it up still... such a sweet and relaxing song and a little clever too.. its NOT eurovision though. But this one definitely is.its in the vein of finlands 2006 entry a few years ago and a bit of ukraines in 2021..and then some extra.. the staging, the performing and acting really are next level.. regardless of how it does, its elevated the bar.
I think it will do well with the jury because this song grows on people and they have had time to listen to it and they might be blown away with the performance 💗
But most people on fainl are people only watching fainl extra 25 to 30% of audiences don't watch the simi fainl or rehearsal or anything just fainl. No dark song won or done well at eurovision. Lordi is fun Rock and roll Halloween. This is like Ireland got talent. Jury more likely vote for pop song

They are phenomenal! I actually love Doomsday Blue the song and listen to it constantly, but im so exstatic that because of talented artists like Bambi and Sergio everyone else can experience the beauty and horror of Bambi's vision.

Then you have the ones inbetween and people with some sort of mixed parentage and people who moved lol. Best not to even go there. I'll bet you Caoimhe have come across some of this before lol
I was very sceptical when I heard it and I was influenced by people in February who dismissed it and questioned it's merits, now looking at the rest I see them all competing for the same votes, Doomsday Blue is on a lane of its own.
Not a single person in the DOZENS of reactions I've watched to this video mentioned the ATTENTION TO DETAIL in the very last second of the performance. When Bambie kicks their leg up and it falls back down to the ground, the demon dancer entirely reacts and lifts his whole body up. LIKE EXCUSE ME?!
Matt Williams is a superb dancer and choreographer. The fella bent himself backwards and then moved in perfect time with Bambie's gestures. What muscle strength and talent! Amazing performance.
I think what makes this THE BEST EVER staging is it all has meaning, it's all storytelling... It not just stuff on a stage, or decoration, or distraction. Please vote peeps. Imagine an interval act done by Bambie (and Sergio) in Iteland '25. Their a dream team. 💚🤍🧡
I watched the Spanish interview with Sergio using auto translate - really interesting. The five days also included a weekend so in fact the actual productive time was much less. Bambie said, the filming was all done in 9 hours! Damn impressive. 22 years old - he has a great future
I think you have to listen to any song a couple of times before it grows on you, or not. I love this now. I mean yes its much more but I like the song.
If you're not a fan of the song, look for the Intimate version, especially their performance on the Late Late Show. Bambie Thug has an absolutely beautiful voice.

Ireland has to be SO PROUD! One of the best Irish performances I’ve ever seen and best staging in Eurovision history.
