He could’ve easily won if he used the whale to capsize the boat and have the sharks eat them. Instead he outswam them, beached a whale, and got it killed. Even if Butcher didn’t ran into him he could’ve easily just parked the boat somewhere else and have Kimiko kill him.
I swear every time the deep comes on screen I just start cracking up. Idk if the actor is just that much of a good comedian or the writers unintentionally made the character out as a joke but I just see him as a giant goofball and he might be my favorite out of the 7🤣

Deep didn't do anything besides use creatures, he got no strength or whatever. Can he breathe underwater? Like honestly what physical traits of his own body - not extended to other creatures - does he have?
Have you watched the series? Its very well established Deep not only can breath underwater, but has super speed underwater. He scours the ocean floor and finds the plane crash for Vought in a day which is almost impossible. He's a comedic character, but he isnt weak. Episode 2 of the series established hes stronger than normal people.
