The benefit of playing off meta gear pieces. You end up with very strong budget kits.@@RockieTD
@Firebox720 i was thinking the same thing for crusaders helms too, all my builds roght now are great helms and light gauntlets, agility dex and strength is too good to pass up
you could also run a bow on top of the windlass, that could make the mage/warlock matchups more bearable

Have you tested to make a build with warlock +demon form, to gain PDR and MDR? It would be interesting to see if it can tank more than a tank barb.
This build feels so strong against physical classes it seems worth the bad matchup against casters. Meta seems to be shifting more to casters right now but either way hope you like the build!
Ive been dreading the wizard matchup atm ive got 75% pdr and 35% mdr. But im slow on cleric i basiclly have to get a wizard to fuck up if i wana win the engage, every one else im rolling atm.
Warlocks are meh geared wizards are still 3 shotting me lol 😆
I was the first barb you killed, is there any reality where you can actually die to a barb that isn't running reckless attack? I've been seeing these builds popup and it makes me want to run reckless attack but it's so situationally useless that it's hard to stomach losing Achilles or savage.
Man you are the only Dark and Darker youtuber/streamer that is entertaining. Wild how popular some people are, and then you join there stream and they just whine nonstop. You take it like a champ.
The only content that even comes close to being this entertaining is JayGriffyuhs pickpocket videos but then you have to watch Jay x_x

Could consider taking Shield Expert for 10% more move speed while blocking, you do notice a considerable speed increase with light wep/buckler

You can sell an item in marketplace and buy it on another character. Just choose an item you know for sure if your own

Racecar involves building high move speed on cleric and bonking with smite staff. If we can multiclass staff Mastery to cleric it could come back for me.
Honestly the value out of appearance being "less tanky" probably is what gets you so many engagments that your like looking for, ive found that people dont wana fight melee when they hear plateboots and honestly i would have thought the same thing when i saw loose trousers, my brain 100% would have gone oh this guys got about 40 maybbbbee 50% pdr i would not assume 75% and i would prpbably die to you because of it.
The ability to judge gear and thresholds at the higher gear fights is honestly tide turning.
I know against 120 hp and 75% it takes my warmaul 3 hesdshots to kill, and about 8 arm shots my brain does easy math and says heasshots are worth 2 and arms are worth 1, and i need to grt to about 7 to kill a max pdr player, if i see loose trousers im probably yoloing thinking i can 2 tap or 3 tap them, honestly i will be ustilizing this strategy of gear baiting as my kit alows for it.

I would love to try this build but I know as soon as I load in to a match, I'll be greeted by a naked spawn rushing wizard with 5 true magic damage and get obliterated in 1 fireball and 2 zaps

It is too fast I am not used to fighter going this fast lol. I been using the light gauntlets too btw before this build for a bit more speed. So easy to cap 75% with decent gear.Some people been saying use Kris but the twist attack baits you into staying close for the double tap sometimes when you should be dodging or backing up and also its more expensive cuz of Warlock.
People see this and think old hybrird fighter so like 50-60 PDR so it does trick players at least for now but its the mov speed and attack speed that are surprising on a fighter. Plus max health and vigor rolls make this very beastly if you can find them.
I think it's a mix of the high PDR and MS catching people off guard. As long as you play carefully against magic classes, you are going to have some great matches

My slayer with 47% pen using warhammer or windlas and 33% with recurve would prob kill all these PDR builds, armor pen is broken. No one seems to realize.
Yea but don't you generally lose to slayer builds or light builds then?
My problem is when i wear super expensive kits i play like shit cuz im too worried about losing it
Thats the great thing about these build I use - it's usually pretty cheap because I use off meta gear

@@erich1380 consider the entire kit cost - it's significantly cheaper than other classes BIS items. Also the shield was 100G someone goofed on market lol

Honestly the neglect of rogue and the abundance of warrior/barb/wizard love is the only reason I'm not playing the game. Until they get class balancing right game can kick rocks.

rogues got a buff recently, and its a pretty strong class against casters atm. This just demonstrates again that rogue players cannot fathom taking other perks besides invis

Is rogue playable? Sure. Can it be fun? Sure. I'd you think it's on the same level as Warlock/Wizard/Barb/Warrior you're delusional. Bonk wizard has haste and invis on demand doing double the damage rouge can gear for gear, shit barb can do it with a green axe.
Thanks for proving my point though, people complaining about invis when it isn't even in the conversation.
@@jamesmatthews6476 I was saying it because it has plenty of abilities that have more utility, and in my opinion, more fun to use, that can make you an absolute killing machine of squeashy characters. I tested different characters, and by far the hardest character to lvl up solo playing is wiz. Playing rogue isnt that hard, now that you have for free a crossy, with a character that you can kite forever, the only thing you should be on the look out are rangers or wiz. Warlock and wiz are broken because of the lack of magical defense, barb is and will always be broken, because currently vast majority of melee fights end up in trade, and people who die to PDR fighters are either rangers or really bad, I guess you are complaining about slayers. You can play rogue and delete lobbies, but you first must learn to play without being a landmine, that's it.
I notice they cant even hit you with the sweet spot of their weapon when youre that close

@@gostanonaction speed seems to still be pretty up in the air about being a useful stat at the moment. Getting it from dex is cool cuz dex does other things

Just takes away from the game when u have to hit someone 15 times only dor them to just intsta heal. It's just too much 25% should b the cap.
