This is what i dont get about people fighting warlock like hello? The counter play is not that hard just dont attack the warlock and leave the game its that simple smh
Yeah it's really silly. People think they can melee hit a warlock in this game. I hear alt f4 ability works against them tho.
@@Firebox720all jokes aside I am just hoping that they will cook something up that's actually fun because as it is we just have not fun meta after not fun meta but seeing that leveling up is this slow and (from early screanshots) you have to be level 75 to multie class on 2 charters or something like that this game will actually become a job instead of a game
@@beh256I mean the way they’re doing things is likely that once multi-class is out, leveling up will be easier. Would suck if it comes out and people already have 2 or 3 classes level 30+

Watching you run the w key meme warlock has inspired me to run the w key meme cleric build to counter it out there. Judgement to punish phantomize, high will for mr, armor, a the 50% pdr perk. Dont need to chase, they have w key into me. No spells, who needs em, thats for skill checks. We stat checking today

13:45 Not sure if they fixed it yet but that extract in goblin cave is the only one I know of that shows rocks (appears to be taken) even though it may not have been yet.
does this damage increase on the crystal sword also work with other stats like magical power, will and stuff like that?
Thanks for the video! If you use Kris dagger and the crystal ball youll get 6 more damage on dark reflect and be faster than crystal sword. Busted build!

11:40 did you take that +2 all necklace or no
Important tip: With the new multiclassing system: you can get staff mastery from wizard and two handed damage bonus from barb, combine that with dark reflection and will soul collector. Stack will + MS and get to around
280-300 with staff out and 330 (new max) with phantomize. Then you will literally 1-2 tap any class.
wouldn't malice give you more damage bc you're stacking will? it would also increase magic resist even more

why additional over true magic? - also I abused this build to go 100-25 in normal goblin before they nerfed reflect eating stacks
Nice build, made me alot of money so far we gotta milk it till its nerfed to the ground. Personally i would recommend running gravewolf gloves with some vigor or smth they are super cheap right now

What change made all the clerics disappear? Geniunely curios
Spell cast speed nerf + holy strike radius nerf are two big ones that directly impact solo cleric. Now if you build a slow tank cleric, your lack of range and speed shows even more now because holy strike is garbage.
I'm thinking they should probably un-nerf BoC and then just nerf it's scaling a lot. It's weird now where it's OP when you have gear but kinda meaningless in normals with no gear. It should probably just be good and useful in normals and high roller, but it's in a bad spot right now. Also not opposed to nerfing dark reflection to not scaling at all. I'd say if they just made it 10 true dark damage, it'd be fine. Or just remove it, that's okay too.
A couple of times there I think you would have died if people just brought explosive bottles with them, I've killed plenty of warlocks that try and phantomize towards me. Even with the high MR warlock have they literally take double damage when they're phantomized so it shreds them.

Because most people don't have high magic dmg resistance. That combined with how high his magic power bonus is, he will do a lot more damage with additional magic damage, since it scales with the power bonus.
It's not a massive note, but I figured I wanna make mention of it since I'm a stats nerd and hearing 60dmg on reflect with no base magic damage weapon out, didn't sound right. With 0 Base magical dmg from a casting weapon (spellbook, crystal ball, staff) 56.1% magical dmg bonus (your magical power bonus with the crystal sword out) and +15 additional magical damage, you will be doing exactly 40.61 dmg on a 0% magical resist player. That being said, if you decided to change to a crystal ball/spellbook with a base 6 magical damage bonus, it would instead be ~56 damage on a neutral magical resist player. I'm not denying it's insane effects, but just didn't sound right so I ran it through a calc real quick.
I don't see you mention the 100% damage bonus from soul collector
@@Firebox720 My fault, I calced in full without mentioning that. It is exactly 30.61 without any soul collector stacks and 40.61 with soul collector stacks. The only thing being scaled by soul collector is the base 10 damage from dark reflection, hence why the exact 10 damage difference.

Just a small correction: Dark Reflection with full Soul Collector will "only" hit for about 40 damage, because additional magic damage doesn't scale with magic power. Still pretty busted though.
Is this true? Even without magic power I have +15 add damage and DR deals 10. That would be 50 damage when scaled with +100%. But I've heard you can 1 tap an ungeared rogue.
@@Firebox720 It will deal 10 * (1 + 1,5 (from 150% mpower)) + 15 = 40 damage. If you had a purple staff instead of the crystal sword it would deal (10 + 8 (from staff)) * (1 + 1,5) + 15 = 60
Only the base damage plus magic damage from weapons (not to be confused with magical weapon damage on crystal sword) gets scaled with magic power

reflection needs hard nerfs, shouldnt scale off add/true dmg and shouldnt work with shards. i shouldnt lose half my hp for attacking someone
I'd prefer if they removed dark reflection from the game or changed how the perk works.

dark reflection would be fine if it was just flat 10 true magic damage with NO modifiers it would make it so you can't hit a warlock if you are low but you can't even hit a warlock at full hp right now without getting wrecked. Also with them removing it from the game taking damage when u hit someone is just a bad mechanic. Thorns has never been fun in pvp period.
It's so sad that equipment and build influence fights so much, often without even giving you a chance to win.

Dark reflection being a flat damage rebound is bad balance. There is a reason that most games that have a rebound mechanic of any kind use a formula that looks like "reflect X% of the damage you take up to a maximum of Y damage" instead of "deal x damage to melee attackers that hit you"
It's just bad in general. Hitting someone to take damage feels like a lame mechanic.

@Firebox720 making it a passive perk instead of a spell or active ability is also a problem. Damage reflect can be a fine mechanic, but it really needs a cooldown, and a duration that makes it possible to wait it out rather than being always active unless it's on cooldown.
In fact it would be better balance to make BoC a passive cooldown, and dark reflection an activated ability. If BoC was always active unless it was on cooldown, but went on cooldown any time you melee anything while it was up it would still work, but have a higher skill ceiling. And if dark reflection was an activated ability with maybe a 3 or 4 second duration before expiring and going on cooldown it would have counterplay.
The Malice perk gives more magic resistance and magic power bonus when I equip it over Antimagic. Is there a reason that Malice isn't used?
Antimagic won't show in your stats because it does not apply for cleric spells!

it was not until this video released i had a bis set cost me around 10k but when i died with it today it was around 30k with some pieces not even existing in market i bought a budget kit of this build for 4k about an hour ago. Just a warning though u run into a geared barb or archer it's game over everything else is free loot.

I did finally die. Funny enough, it was a juiced PDR fighter. I got overconfident fighting. Got him down to like 10 hp or something

tried this build out and on my first run killed a BiS wiz and cleric w/ a pelt on him.. needless to say it's already payed for itself. this prob needs to get nerfed.

How to make 30k gold on warlock. Step one obtain a 10000 gold kit.
Hate to burst your hate bubble but the kit at start of stream cost 2.5k gold for me to build. Found some cheap gear on market.
That kit literally right now would not cost 10k and the prices have been increasing since yesterday.

they should never have added the goblin cave. now all the cave dwellers are affecting all other players because not every class is perfectly balanced 1v1 like this is street fighter. together with ironmaces inability to come up with creative solutions to problems and just lowering numbers. I'm sure the game is much more fun when BoC does +3 dmg and DR does 5 dmg.

I thought add magic scaled with will - it does not. However, crystal sword damage does scale so it is still good here. Hard to test these things without a good channel to do so in game.
