They’ve been in the server day one, in the computer shop. No one buys them though. $2k
They have been in from day 1, but after a few days they went up to 2k each and they degrade kinda quick for the price so most dont use.

Yeager messed with Vinny’s crowbar connection(cut the guys finger off for not handing him a crowbar) and things escelated from there. Both sides have stabbed and shot eachother since, Mr. K being caught with a PD gun after failing to take out Yeager which further escalated things. Dundee has also been beefing with Mary for weeks over Mosleys, they started out as co-managers, but Mary royally snaked him by cutting him out of deals and plotting to off him/become sole owner, which ended with Dundee quitting Mosleys and starting to work for Vinny at Polulars(together with 4 other workers), and sticking it to Mary by starting a hilarious twatter war. Since Yeager is working with Mary he also has it out for Dundee. So basically CG and Dundee vs the Guild(Mary + Yeager)

They’ve been a thing since day one. On the first day they cost like $250 to buy one but the next day the price raised to $2000 so nobody bothered to pay for it.
Especially since there's been no heists to use them on, people haven't really bothered getting them because they don't last long
2k each and they degrade fast, there's not much high stakes crime where people need to communicate. Not worth paying 12k for a crew to have radios
