As a Turk, I agree with all except 1997. My favorite Greek song is 2001 Die For You. Definitely the song that best reflects the spirit of the 2000s. whole world can love that song. and the greek singer is an absolutely beautiful woman, she smells of love 2000s

Turkey became more iconic and phenomenonal than Greece after 2003.
Except Turkey's terrible song in 2005 -the year Greece won-, all other songs / performances of Turkey were great during 00's.

You must be joking. Greece literally broke eurovision record by entering 8 times top 10 in this decade. Not even Sweden has done that. How was Turkey more phenomenal after 2003 lol. That being said, Turkey was one of my favorite eurovision counties.

I am Greek but i will try to see and judge these participants objectively !! Sorry to say but Turkey the first years of her participation in the contest was no good at all with light exceptions ...So expect the first song in 1975 which was good but here is not competing because Greece didn't participate in 1975 ,Turkey managed to have a good song in 1996 for the first time since their beginning ...So between 1976 to 1996 Greece is by far the winner between those two , the years that they were both competing ...( And of course in 1983 the song of Greece was far more good than Turkey 's ,so bad choice there for you - Opera of Turkey in 1983 , sorry to say , ridiculous song that came last with 0 points !! ) Turkey before the 00' had two good participants in 1996 and 1997 that objectively and fairly overpasses Grrece 's entries of those two years !! And then of course Turkey wins the year 2003 fairly ...2004 ,2008 and 2010 Turkey had three very good rock songs but Greece on the other hand had three major bops ,ethnik pop dance songs ,so its very difficult to choose and say who was better ...( But to be fair 2010 Manga had the best ever rock performance and song in history of the contest so although Alkaios was great with " OPA " ,i ll give that year to Turkey ...So to summarise this Turkey was only better from Greece the years : 1996 ,1997 ,2003 ,2009,2010 ,2012 !! And in the years 2004 ,2007 and 2008 lets call it a tie ...All the other years Greece was far better than Turkey in Eurovision entries and the results prooves it too ...
