The one he's drawing vs the ones he's supposedly drawn are of no comparison ? I'm not sure i buy this at first, the picture in progress at the end doesn't even look like the subject.

I do believe this kid is good after looking at the footage again but that face shape isn't right, even at different angles the proportions aren't right, It could be that its a quick sketch i'm just too sceptical of things like this.

This is the oldest trick in the fraud book. Fake street artist use similar tricks in Paris, France.

More likely the later are draw by an adult. Nigerian scam.
Not to knock your theory because it could be a sham, however he might not be doing one of the full detailed illustrations here.
For example they knew they were filming this story and they wanted to get something of him drawing. So in this example he just did a quick GESTURE drawing. You don't really go straight into that hyper realistic style without working the kinks out first, hence the quick study drawings.

The sketch was done from life for less than 10 minutes. That's how a sketch is supposed to look like. The hyperrealistic drawings were made using a photo reference and there were days of work put into them.

Because we saw zero evidence here; we were shown amazing drawings but never him actually drawing them. Nigeria=Scam
The fact that we didn't see the evidence of him doing the drawings doesn't necessarily mean that he didn't do them. Most artist like to show the final product and not the process. The process takes a loooooooot of time and sometimes it's very intimate for them. I, personally, hate drawing in front of people, too. I do it when it's necessary (in class or when I'm drawing from life, for example) but I strongly prefer doing it in the comfort of my own. Plus, it's easier to concentrate and I feel much more inspired when I'm alone.
With all that said, even if this really is a scam, it's just not fair to blame all nigerians for this, that's literally the definition of discrimination. That's an individual case and doesn't apply to all nigerian artists/people.

@@kotarojujo6365 There are dozens of videos showing extremely talented people drawing and painting in real time so everyone can see it's real on CZcams and the media never cover them but this kid became an international sensation without providing any evidence he did all this by himself? Come on, give a break, I don't buy it. There is absolutely no proof he can draw, let alone hyperrealistic portraits.
Unless you prove me wrong with a full and non edited video he is truly who he is supposed to be, I'll keep telling this is utter b.s.

The sketch was being done from life while the display pieces were likely referenced/copied from photos. There's a big difference in quality between the two for now, but he's only 11!
