    Just installed it - as advertised! Slightly heavier and more responsive steering, tracks to line better, less buffering at speed in cross-wind. Will have to see the difference off-road. I don’t think there will be any kickback on the steering wheel. Nicely done, guys!

    My steering is fine, I guess it’s what your expectation is. I’ve driven everything from G wagons, Range Rovers , light commercial vans, school buses & articulated trucks .
    There’s nothing wrong with the steering in my Grenadier. It’s nearest comparison vehicle would be the G wagon upto 2018 model year , the ineos steering is far superior to the G wagons, may I add and so are the seats , suspension , engine , lights , the overall build quality is outstanding

      The stabilizer really comes down to preference! Which is all the fun of aftermarket parts, you can mix and match what works best for you! We don't think that the steering, as designed, is a failure or poor choice. But we do recognize, and hear the feedback of other owners who feel the steering is a pain point! For that we came to market with a solution for them. If you like the steering as is, thats okay, we have other fun aftermarket products hitting the market that might suite your needs and interests better!

    I just got mine, and with all that comments in the media about the steering I was expecting quite bad experience, but what was the surprise, the steering is fine and much better than Toyota Hilux 2024 which I have. Yes i can feel that is a bit slower if you make quick overtakes on high speed, but for the moment I don't feel that I have to upgrade or do any changes

      Totally! Many Grenadier owners are accustomed to the style of steering from other vehicles. Our steering stabilizer options are great for many different use cases, whether its a client who doesn't favor that style of driving, or wants a more universal drive if they do share the responsibilities of driving with someone else who is less accustomed! Many clients are really excited about our New ATS Stabilizer since it gives them the option to customize the steering where needed.

      I have a video idea for you. @Agileoffroad you could compare the Grenadier to a W-461 G-wagon.
      I believe it is basically an evolution of the G W-461, or a redesign of the G-commercial. The W-461 went out of production at Magna a half a year before Ineos went into production. I also believe Magna produced the test vehicles on the W-461 line which it later moved to Hambach from Steyr.

      @@fabulousoffroaddesigns5080 From what we know its a recreation from the Land Defender! We would love to do a comparison, however our market isnt in upgrade parts for those other vehicles, so we would have to source the other vehicles in order to speak on them!

      @@Agileoffroad Yes well Ineos tried to buy the Land Rover factory and Future Parts recreation but Land Rover said no. I think Mercedes realized that they were going to an ifs G wagon at about the time the court cases were on and decided they could sell Ineos the old G-wagon line and relocate it to Hambach France. I think there is a lot of similarity underneath like suspension, and steering.

      We get it though, some people might just not understand why we came up with a product, and might assume its just another marketing gimmick. Of course those who choose to go the route to modify the steering more to their preferences don't think so!
      No opinion on their own car is wrong, but you're right, it shouldn't invalidate the experiences of others, we want to embrace more community support and understanding in our industry.

    My Ineos dealer and I are interested - does this installation affect the manufacturing warranty? If not, did you get something from Ineos on that? I don’t MIND the steering - but do notice more road fatigue on longer hauls. I think it’s just those small corrections that you don’t really notice - especially in a cross -wind.

    I have seen another video singing the praise of the Fax Racing Series 2.0 ATS (adjustable) which is considerably more money and does not connect up to the factory mounting points. Did you happen to try that model out? My use will likely not include challenging off-road use. In my part of the world it is more over sand (Cape Cod National Seashore). So, if the benefit of spending more on the ATS version is that you can "dial-in" extreme off road characteristic, that is not my aim.

    • @Agileoffroad
      @Agileoffroad  Před 2 měsíci

      We’ve been working on an ATS solution to have the ATS direct fit to the Grenadier, similarly to our current stabilizer design. Its about 30-40 days out. It'll bolt in at the factory locations, super plug and play! Sign up for the mailing list to be in the loop when we launch!

    • @Agileoffroad
      @Agileoffroad  Před měsícem +1

      They both help with the stiff steering immensely! If you do not anticipate wanting to adjust your steering stiffness, the Performance series (This stabilizer) is perfect for pavement and off-roading use.
      If you don't have stiffness preferences when off-roading, this stabilizer will probably work best.

      @Pandora882 I'm not aware that a recirculating ball steering system is at the root cause of the non return to centre issue. Indeed, those just removing the standard damper have already commented that it greatly improves the return to centre characteristics.
