    The older gentleman in the back with a little camera of his own when the car was revealed, with a huge smile just makes me so happy to see

    I almost cried when you took the cover off, I think it really shows that this would be one off the few classics cars that I would keep forever.😍👍

    Absolutely loved this series of videos topped off by no. 5.
    It is sad that we are mere mortals and Mr Eyre could not have seen his Ferrari in its former glory.
    Thank you James and all the DK team 👏👏👏👏🇦🇺

    Mr. Cottingham is class beyond his years. The poise, knowledge, commitment and expertise he brings to the business is unparalleled. His restoration projects, the people connected to them and, of course, the history behind the fabulous cars make DK modern day history.
    God Bless the DK team.
    Another fantastic video...

    After watching this heart warming video again, I got a little misty eyed. Not many things on this planet can stir emotions like a car, especially a vintage Ferrari. Unbelievable.

    I can't believe your channel hasn't exploded but these kind of cars are becoming forgotten with the new age of disposable everything. It's sad because people today have no idea how well these things where built!

    The government, in the guise of DVLA, imagines that it owns all registration serial numbers, because they register a motor car, which provides a levy for the government to charge registration number holders with. Why are they so big? After all, Italian police seem to be able to see smaller numbers and letters, without squinting.

    Man they sounded so much better before They had to compete with American muscle! The 40s and 50s are Ferrari's best years for me and I am an 80s baby always wanted a Testarossa and then an F355 but if I were a wealthy man it would have to be the 166 MM or 340 America!

    I remember the first 20 seconds, then everything was a bluer, until 19 mins, why would you buy a modern Ferrari, this car is gorgeous

  • @markpass4215
    @markpass4215 Před 2 lety

    Can’t help thinking that this whole story and the reference to the auction is disrespectful for not giving greater mention to the incredible gift and generosity of Richard Colton who owned the car for over 40 years and left it and a 275 GTB in his will to the RNLI to be sold for charity…This crowd manage to make more of the number plate being given by Rufus than the car…which sold for over £6 million in 2015

  • @andrewgoetz6732
    @andrewgoetz6732 Před 10 měsíci

    They should have simply volunteered to pay 30k plus for the pouch / paperwork , or at a minimum donate that amount to charity…
