Brilliant video, thank you for doing this. Just one question, what are the red lights for in between the speedo and rev counter? I went for a spin in one in Italy many years ago and the owner, in his limited English, tried to explain something about temperature. All I know is, once the light went out he gave it some bollocks and all hell let loose. What a car!

They're a rare beast, but amazing. I saw one when I was little, owned by Chas Kelley in Tasmania, crash in Targa Tasmania. I've seen another F40 cruising around Melbourne, Australia casually. Wonderful stuff.

Phenomenal watch, I learnt a great deal. Only 2 other thimgs I can think of that are interesting 1. Not stopping the engine immediately after spirited driving (ie. Let it cool), a few have caught fire as a result 2. The undercoat of the paint needing to be pink to get the right red (Ian Tyrell’s channel covered this nicely. 👍🏽👍🏽

Simpler and more accurate guide to using an F40: Step 1. Ship to storage facility (see video for example). Step 2. Do not drive car, it's not why you bought it. Step 3. Allow time to elapse for capital value to accrue. Step 4 (only exception to step 2). Take car out once a year to cars and coffee event in order to be congratulated for actually being the hero that uses your F40. Step 5. Sell car.
