It softened the water, but the issue is that when we pump the water to the overhead tank, this device takes 24 hours to soften the water in the tank. After that, we can use the water. However, this isn't practical for us since we need to use the water immediately after pumping it to the overhead tank. Additionally, it only lasts around 8 months before all the particles leak out."
