- You need to cap your in game fps to half of your screen refresh rate in order to make Lossless scaling work effectively. In the video above,I set the screen refresh rate at 60Hz so I cap my FPS to 30.
When lossless scaling is active, it will double your FPS from 30 to 60.
Lossless scaling only works in Windowed or Borderless mode.
Note: This software is not perfect; even though the game feels smooth, I also experience ghosting and input lag depending on the games.
The battery drained testing video is conducted in controlled environments using specific settings and conditions. Results may vary based on individual usage patterns, apps running in the background, and device settings.

@@T-PEN can i use FPS limits in game options?
Great videos! I have a question. how do you pull up the taskbar while gaming? is there a shortcut for it?
There’s a button mapping in Legion Space Settings. You can customize back buttons to any keys you want.
@@T-PEN thanks! 🙏
This is pretty wild. Assuming it works good when docked at 1080p as well?
I will try out with external monitor to see the result.
You think the legi9n go could run 7 days to die pretty good? I know its a pretty old game with not the best graphics but it has a lot of physics, ive yet to see gameplay of 7dtd with this thing
Just check the System Requirements from Steam, I think Legion Go will handle that game pretty well. Destiny 2 also has the best graphics and Legion Go run the game very well.
@T-PEN one thing I really like about the legion go is it's 3x more portable then a laptop and I genuinely think this think can completely replace it, I'm debating on selling my HP omen 17 with the RTX2070 in it, so far it seems this machine and my laptop play at the exact same frames
Doesn't work for me. I tried it with resident evil 4 on the legion go. Applied all the settings you showed, but it's still very laggy. Not sure if it's the game..?
Because of the game’s optimization, I also had that game before, it doesn’t run well on Legion Go.
Hey, can you just tell me how your Legion Go is so quiet even when running it at 20w TDP? Mine is very loud, I have it to "Smart" under fan settings at performance mode.
Mine is so quiet too, it gets loud only if I apply 30 TDP
Maybe clean ur fan
I'm bringing back my rog
At 20W TDP, the fan should not get too loud. If your temp gets too high and the fan gets too loud at 20W, then maybe there’s a lot of dust cover your fans, you should clean it.
I saw that it should be in window mode not full screen, right? How about latency, ghosting etc?
Yes, it’s only work in Windowed or Borderless Mode. When you moving mouse around, you will notice the ghosting, a little or too much depends on the games. Latency or input lag also the same.
What overlay are you using where you can view the TDP?
It’s MSI afterburner.
I actually like the music shit slaps 😂 using Sennheiser
Friend, I couldn't get a satisfactory result with lossless scaling and resident evil 4 remake, could you make a tutorial?
I’m really sorry, I’ve uninstalled this game because my storage is full. Also, please be aware that not all games will work well with lossless scaling. Some games will perform well, while others will perform worse. I’ve also included this information in my latest video, discussing which games work and don’t work with lossless scaling, and how to spot it.
@@T-PEN Is it possible to prevent the lukefz supreme mod from showing the cmd window when starting the game?
How'd you feel about the delay? Is it still enjoyable?
It depends on the game, Cyberpunk I don’t feel any delay, but in God of War, the delay is very bad.
@@T-PEN Bad news for me. I was planning to play GOW and Horizon 2. Maybe 30 fps is enough.
Other games are playable for me, only GOW, the movement is very heavy.
@@T-PEN you mean for lossless scaling, right?
Yes, I mean for Lossless Scaling.
Does Lenovo’s limiter work? Or just only use Riva
Lenovo’s limiter doesn’t work accurate. Riva works the best, and gives better results.
I dont no why but using the same configs my fps get 120fps instead of 60fps. I set to 60hz but it doesnt work...
You need to cap FPS to 30 FPS, Legion Space frame limit doesn’t work accuracy, that’s why I used RivaTuner from MSI afterburner in the video.
@@T-PENyeah im using RivaTurner but the fps still 120 even setting 30fps on RivaTurner
Hello 👍🏼. Does anyone know what results are obtained in helldivers 2?
Really sorry, for me I don’t test this game yet.
@@T-PEN No problem. I have verified it myself, thanks to your videos. With medium/low quality, 1920/1200 and the FPS locked at 30, I get a stable 60 FPS.
How the hell do you install riva tuner been trying the last hour can’t do it
Just install MSI afterburner, it will come with Riva Tuner in one package.
Can you get to 120 fps by limiting in game fps to 60 ?
New Video testing 120 FPS for Competitive Gaming like CSGO, PUBG, APEX LEGEND will drop today. 😉
You’re just gonna ignore Alexander like that in Elden ring? Heartless
I’m busy testing game, I will help him later. 😅
Whats your wallpaper?
You can search Razer x Legion Wallpaper, the result will appear.
Hola, podria hacer una de MW3 multijugador por favor. Saludos
Hello, today I will drop a new video testing Lossless Scaling for Competitive Games at 120FPS includes PUBG, CS:GO, and Apex Legends. I just finished recording, so I will include MW3 later.
The speakers 😢
Speakers still sound the same, in the video I enhanced the audio with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Attention. This software only works well on games that exceed 40fps, with games that run at - 40 fps, it ALWAYS presents graphical problems. It also doesn't work with all games, just some. For the moment it is not worth the €7 it costs.
After conducting numerous tests, I would say it’s a 50/50. Some games do improve performance, but others, like fighting games WWE & Tekken 8, actually worsen it. I would recommend testing it out if you have big storage, like 2TB or more, and play a variety of games. It can be a great experience to experiment with. However, if you only play a few specific games, this software may end up being a waste of your money.
