A criminally underrated song.
Possibly one of the finest songs I have ever heard.
He’s awesome
jim cuddy is the most underrated singer there is. He has one of the most pure voices I have ever heard.
He is unreal!
Totally agree! I melt as soon as I hear his voice! Its so pure and beautiful!
his net worth does not seem to reflect that however
I love Jim Cuddy. I saw him backstage at Edmonton’s Folk Fest. He is my number 1 crush! I love his voice. He’s gorgeous.
I always considered him Jackson Browne- like in the purity of his voice, but I think Jim's voice has aged better.
This song is just flat-out beautiful. Soulful and bluesy...and as always, the lyrics touch our souls. Fantastic performance.
I have loved this band and the music they make together for over 20 years now. I feel like their past is just as meaningful as their present. Have they ever not written and played the beautiful, the tragic, and the hopeful all throughout? The keyboard, the percussion, the base, and, yes, the vocals. Such a beautiful blend of voices. Also, whomever is advising and producing their videos is spot on as to what they are trying to convey through their music. My viewpoints on some of their songs has either been altered or confirmed.
I listened SO many times after our son died...drunk as hell..this song helped me grieve...Blue Rodeo has a song for all occasions and moods though don't they?! Loved them from day one..always will..so extremely talented!!
listening to this today on the anniversary of my daughter's death. Yes, this helps us all grieve. Sending heartfelt virtual hugs to you.
My condolences to you both. Yes, a song for all our emotions. They make my soul sing along!
My deepest sympathy to both of you on your profound losses. This song will definitely bring out the emotions.❤

This song makes me feel like I am floating, especially the piano at the end... Greg on drums (with that smirk and all dressed up) cracks me up everytime. He and Glenn swap out when they play live. So fun.
How can anyone (never mind 7 people) not like this tune?
Their reasons, no doubt. Let's just wish them love, hope and wellness.
Love love love this song...perfection!
My favourite Blue Rodeo song.. man, it hits the emotions ~ just beautiful, poetry
Beautiful! My favourite Blue Rodeo offering. Pure musical magic. A pristine performance indeed!
I have seen them several times in concert...they are amazing! I agree with you 100%...Jim Cuddy's vocals are SO underrated...one band that is TRULY amazing live, and sound the exact same on recordings...absolutely nothing fake about these guys...
It's like they were living in my pocket when they wrote this. Miss my baby even after lots of years, and they captured it.
This is my absolute favorite Blue Rodeo song - followed closely by Rain Down on Me
Both those songs are so expressive of loss, though not through ones own doings. Thats a ough thing in life to to forget, yet find meaning in.
This song is so sadly underrated, rare jem....at 4:26 minutes there is a beautiful piano piece that will make your soul dance
Have always loved Blue Rodeo and many back stage passes. Excellent people and so down to earth. Got to play my guitar back stage with Jim. One of the best days of my life.....always in my heart....
out of all my favorite Blue Rodeo songs I keep circling back to this one, is it my favorite, not sure cause I love them all but I always stop at this one ....
Damn, that's perfect!
One of my top 10 favorite bands of all time!! And this song just have the most magic for me!!
Great song by HUGELY underrated band. Luv.luv, luv BLUERODEO
I rate them very highly. Have seen them live 4 times.
Underrated where? They are known as one of the best Canadian bands ever. I don't call that underrated
Where are they "under-rated"??
I describe them as performers who make recordings as opposed to recording artists who tour. They are amazing live. It is what they live for.
@@danobrien3695 That large, highly populated country to our south; actually, more unknown than under- rated; but that's OK. They've done pretty well ( I think "Outskirts" is 35 years old).
I hear that it's beautiful, there in Canada.😉😁
Greg Keelor playing the drums on this piece :) Cool as a cucumber with a smirk on this face like he won the ultimate prize...
Beautiful song from the first note to the last beat!
Mellow, sad - love this video. A happy Greg behind the drums....
Omg !L I love this. Jim Cuddy you are amazing.
Great song by one of Canada’s best
Jim Cuddy has the most expressive voice ever. He makes me want to fall in love. I have seen Blue Rodeo in concert a few times, and I am always blown away. I met Jim once, very briefly, after an outdoor concert in Toronto. I gushed, and he was gracious. A real gentleman. He also has the most gorgeous blue eyes, and a killer smile.
James was sweet and a multi-instrumentalist. I loved our before or after-concert chats. He played in studio with so many people I'd be curious to find out how many. I will always remember him fondly. Peace, at last, kind soul! XX
The ending of this song is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard...
TheMBorax James and Bazil really carry this song. Nice guitar by Glenn.
LOVE IT BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES!!!!
I always thought this had an after hours jazz club feel to it. Then again, I have never been to a jazz club, so I really have no clue. All I know is I love this song.
lol
All right I miss you tonight
And I'm not really sure what to say
It keeps rolling in like a slow moving train
It gets harder and harder each day
Each time I think that the worst of it's through
I am stopped in my tracks by some vision of you
All right I miss you tonight
I admit that I'm falling down blue
a great Toronto talent indeed
They are simply Amazing ❤️ The Best Band ever!!! ❤️👀👌
I always thought this would be a great duet with Jim Cuddy and Diana Krall.
Beautiful song and beautifully composed!
I saw it for the first time in 1997. It's been my favorite ever since.
I will be seeing you soon, Blue Rodeo. I am so excited!
I sat up in my seat with "Try" so long ago n I just sat up again. I love these dudes so much.
Beautify live version! Miss you sis 😥. ‘I admit that I’m falling down blue’..... 💙
I agree; this a a hypnotic song with so much emotion. I love their ballads, like this one.

A hauntingly beautiful rendition. The heartbreak the writer expresses in this song is heartstopping. Love Blue Rodeo!
I totally agree!

Incredibly underrated song of my time !. I just sat here completely stoned and listened to this tune about 7 times...... Wow, trippie !!
Thanks Blue Rodeo !!
Marvelous. How many songs have the drummer deliver a guitar solo? Great stuff. This song really belongs to James Gray. His piano really sets the mood. Thanks for posting.

12 people didn't like this song. A good life lesson
I would love to hear Jim Cuddy do a duet with Michael Buble.
Is it possible to pick a favourite Blue Rodeo song? I always think mine's Bad Timing until I hear this again.
Girl of Mine ... or... wait... Montreal.... ummm... Dark Angel?.... no, your're right. not possible.
@@radclyffegeorge998 True story. I can't pick one...

Jim Cuddy all u need to say.
My mom is a huge Blue Rodeo fan and always called him Jim Cutie lol
Not sure if this woulda been the same with ol Bob Wiseman...🤔.
Jim Cuddy is not under rated what so ever..not to my musical ear. He sings a swoon song like no one else. Swooning!
i would be just trying to make a comment about this song for the sake of thinking i need to respond, but i don't need to because i love just listening with my ears and loving the feel i get from it so i'd like for you to do the same. just listen and enjoy.
