I’ve started playing Nomad a lot in solo queue and she’s great. I’m in shit elo (bronze) & my teammates are never holding angles that they should be holding. Nomad fixes that issue. She’s also goated for post plant.

I love nomad on console cause even in high play most defenders are fairly aggressive on a lot of sites

I bring nomad for tight walkways and doorways, gridlock for staircases and big spaces I can’t hide an airjab and Zero for massive maps with more than 3 flanks, nomad isn’t always the ‘must pick’.

I play alot of nomad and what i like to do is have my squad play ying, amaru, blitz or monty and osa for shields on windows, i typically run in and shoot jabs in door ways that we plant while ying does her thing and then shield goes in and covers me and i plant the bomb and osa sets her shields up and amaru either rushes the flanks or is just aggressive and i always keep one jab and shoot it on diffuser because it goes through it as you cant see it so if someone tries to rush and plant they get thrown back as a audio cue and there has been times where we all died and it was very few seconds left and they go to diffuse and they get thrown back and dont have enough time to diffuse and we win, and if we dont run blitz or monty we run gridlock to secure the room better

I run her to plant late game, throw a few air jabs down, burns the clock and defuse time, plus let’s me know when they’re going for the defuse. Granted I’m playing in silver rn but it works 90% of the time at this level

Siege is a game of learned trauma. Meaning unfortunately I have to die in all the wrong places to learn what the right place is. Watch pox and athieno videos that talk basics and principles. Learning the dialect of this game community (“passive angle at chalet 2nd floor default plant”) once u learn what these guys are saying you can learn what they’re doing right

after you plant if you still have a airjab, place it on one of the entries and watch the other entry. don’t jus put it on the diffuser cuz they could jus shoot it
