This ain’t got nothing to do with movies that go by to film legally in or streets. No one can blame someone else for someone else’s illegal actions if they have the mind to stop doing what it is illegal they about to do. Street take over illegally is not ok but shooting a film that has a permit to film in one of the major cities that’s known for filming, why make it a problem. We know what state we live in. We living in a very hyper sensitive era where people wanna take away others way of providing for their family’s. Im here for legal not for illegal. Suck it up.

Unfortunately, this has been happening since June 22, 2001. The original owners got so fed up with random racers showing up that they sold the house a few years after the first film was released. Also, the owner of Toretto's market probably hates being asked "how's the tuna sandwiches today?"

They filmed a lot of episodes of Walker Texas Ranger right behind a house I had. A few times they filmed in our neighborhood and just took over like they owned it. They had two cops at the entrance of our sub division and anyone wanting in had to show a valid drivers license with an address there. Even then when I pulled into my driveway a cop came over and told me I had to stay in my house until shooting was done! I took offense to that and said "Make me!" He called someone on his radio and some squirrely looking guy came running over and pushed a $100 dollar bill at me and said, "Now will you stay inside for just an hour?" Races are everywhere! Municipalities could slow down drivers with "speed bumps", raised bumps and make sure there is more than one, that they have a significant heigh, and with little distance between them. There are also places where they have made a small land full with in the center a concrete cylinder filled with flowers! Looks like it's there to look pretty but it's mostly for cars to slow down.

People didn't complain about The Fast and the Furious when it came out during 2001, guess Street Racing wasn't as big of an issue for them as it is now. How sad, it took them 20 years to find something to complain about. Those people were probably in their 30's and 40's back then lol. Fast and Furious 4 took place in LA and it had a Street Racing scene in downtown LA and so did Fast 9 during a flashback scene. I think people had a problem with that so after the 4th film, the franchise took off around the world. Fast and Furious is a car culture franchise and it will always be remembered for Racing, no matter how much they try to break away from their roots.
