I dislike her behaviour and the damage she's doing to an already marginalized community, she's not the type of person we should be platforming, not here, not on TikTok, not anywhere.
That being said, the behaviour in her comments section the night she had her episode was revolting, baiting someone when they're appearing suicidal is as bad as it gets.
She needs to leave TikTok, we need to stop talking about her and those that baited her for fun need to evaluate their own mental state.
The thing is, while yes, people online can be horrid, you are only accountable for your own actions. While i dont condone being horrid to anyone or egging someone on to hurt themselves, Elphaba has a duty of care to her self to NOT put herself in harms way.
Problem is, even when tiktok bans her she just makes another account. Shes almost addicted to the attention. She has put herself in a position now where i doubt she could even get a regular job even if she wanted to because of the reputation that shes cultivated and continues to choose to engage with.

I only watched this vid because I was curious about if E had been banned or had any repercussions, OR for that other person who was equally as gross, embarrassing AND compliant. It was her who made me angry and ill with what all she was doing and saying; Not E. I've been pushed exactly like that by an ex and that was very hard to watch for me. She was absolutely disgusting and even more disturbing than E, (IMO), and I'm not surprised at all that E's brain's automitic reaction to it all was that. It's simply how some people's brains automatically react to that situation and you never know who's brain is like that.
I won't be watching anything more about E from now on and I hope the conversations turn to her equally as much. They *both* need this to be a hard lesson to be learned and I wish they both had repercussions over it. Even if it was mandated therapy, (from TikTok), that E couldn't get in the E.R. since it's an E.R. and not a Psych ward. I'm still surprised that E wasn't put in an Inpatient Behavioral Health Hospital though. ...Unless she refused it. 🤷♀️
She needs to leave tiktok, but she won't because it's like trying to explain to a gambling addict that they need to stop playing because it's hurting them, or to an alcoholic that they need to stop drinking because it's damaging them. It's logically true but it won't make them stop. She needs to either admit to herself she has a problem and drastically change her lifestyle, or she needs external intervention , or both.
Can't agree more. She and everyone who pushed her to do it should get IP banned for good.

It’s a crazy platform. I got banned for good… and never did know why. The last thing I uploaded was about some dry ice I got with some food I ordered by post. The only thing I can think of it was regarded as dangerous. But my post was about that… if you get it in the post don’t open it and handle it etc.
The problem is shes faked so much crap for views that even if this was genuine that no one will take her seriously

I’m truly disgusted with TikTok. The fact they’ve allowed them to continue going live, when she doesn’t have an 18+ audience, clearly the people who watch her aren’t exactly 100% okay mentally if they spend 1000’s of £’s on her and stuff. The people watching it may have gone through SH and su!c!dal tendencies before, saw her do that and then did it themselves. Kids? Damn I dread to think how many kids have seen that. Saw no repercussions and thought ‘oh I wonder if I do this what’ll happen’
Elphaba clearly, and I mean VERY CLEARLY, is not OKAY. Not at all. I’m sure coming out and transitioning in private isn’t easy, let alone with thousands of people watching. Then thousands of people bullying, and such, yes she’s encouraged it and stuff by continuing to go live and have breakdowns like she does.
She really needs to be 5150’ed. She needs professional inpatient help. Whether it’s for actual mental health issues, or if it’s to detox her from the internet. She needs to be gone from internet. COMPLETELY.
Her management not calling an ambulance, or the police to get her help after that is WILD.

You are a smart man. The weird part to ideation is even the attempts where you are seeking attention can put the thought into your head, especially if you are already mentally unwell.
I'm a disabled Army combat veteran from and I don't have any firearms at home because there have been moments where it would've been as easy as turning off a light switch, and that's what it becomes.
I don't want to die personally, most people don't, but when you say the words enough, and do the motions enough. There will be a moment where it all becomes real. It's just not something to joke about, to use as manipulation, or at all.
I hear you. It gets so hard sometimes to ignore the voices in your head telling you that not only would you be better off, but so would your loved ones, if you were to just wink out of existence. Those voices can be very loud.
I’m glad you are still here, but I’m sorry that after serving your country you’re now faced with having poor mental health. I hope that in your area there are support systems in place for soldiers who have returned from war, and that you do have family and friends to hold you up on those days when it’s hard to do it on your own. ❤

It's sadly true that going to an emergency room for something like ending-it feelings will result in very little to no care. When I went, I waited 6-8 hours, all day, to be seen. By the time they got to me, the counselors they would've wanted me to talk to were off shift and there only was a doctor to talk to. They ended up forcing me to sign "will not do it" paperwork, that inferred I would be arrested if I did try to do it or something. The process was frustrating, overwhelming, underwhelming, and frightening. I felt like I did something criminal by seeking help, and absolutely nothing was resolved for me. I just walked away far more scared than before.

It makes me sad for her. I see someone who struggles with depression and anxiety, who is maybe bipolar, and isn’t getting treatment for it. Instead, she puts herself on TikTok for whatever attention she can get, even if it’s negative. The negative attention of course just feeds back into her depression and anxiety and it’s a pretty sick cycle.
Good for you, Alex, for not piling on when she’s hitting such a low point. You’ve always made it clear you don’t like her, but also wish she’d take care of her mental health. Too bad more people, and TikTok, aren’t as concerned.
The whole thing is just so dystopian. I think it has to be said though that if you genuinely want to your content to be detached from the more serious topics like this, just don’t make the videos. Completely understand if people are asking for it, but it is your content and if you want to be more lighthearted etc then that is in your control. If people wanted to stay updated on this kind of drama they would just watch the tiktok clips, but people are genuinely watching for you and your insight/humour/character. So when you’re clearly not interested in the topics discussed we just completely lose the entertainment factor. Stick to whatever you feel is topical and laughable and worthy of making content about and we’ll still be here. Always love the lighthearted tones of the videos. Hope ur well!!

TW suicide attempt
The night she was doing what she did on live I attempted. An attempt that almost killed me. I’m so grateful to the RNLI volunteers who attended the scene and the paramedics etc and the Drs in hospital. I’m now detained on a section 2.
I couldn’t even dream of resuming service as normal after what happened.
Yet she’s on live less than a week later saying how she’s having therapy then saying it’s in the works

Whilst I 100% agree with what you’re saying in regards to taking accountability, I don’t think it’s entirely fair to comment on her ability to ‘bounce back’ into normality and discredit her entire experience as a result of that. That isn’t always indicative of someone’s mental state, because it can be so easy to put on a façade. I too have had times in my life where I’ve attempted, and I personally was able to ‘go back to normal’ pretty soon after. It didn’t mean my attempts didn’t have an impact or that I was ‘lying’, it just meant that is personally how I coped. Elphaba 100% needs to be de-platformed for her own well-being though, because it isn’t fair for her nor those who she exposed that behaviour to.

Tik Tok are not worried all they are worried about are views and advertising if Elphaba effected the advertising then BOOM 💥 she would be gone . As far as A and E goes this was behavioural not mental illness that’s why she was send home with an obligatory diazepam at 2mg . Whilst then lies again saying she wasn’t an in patient because there were no beds . NO you weren’t unwell that’s why sent home .
think a lot of the issues with elphaba is a classic case of girl who cried wolf. She’s lied about so much already so most assume she’s also lying about being suicidal- whether she is or not isn’t the point here. the point is that for her own health and safety and for the safety of other users on the platform, her time on tiktok needs to come to an end. Tiktok are absolutely disgusting for allowing this creator to carry on with no consequences whatsoever. it would be safer for her and everyone who sees her content if they pulled their socks up and did something about this and not just let her carry on being rewarded for something so awful. it’s just going to encourage her and others to begin or continue acting in this manner.

As much as I think not giving Elphaba attention WOULD be better for them, I'm not sure if theyre mentally ready to get that help that would allow them to healthily stop seeking attention. Hopefully, one day, they will. Sooner rather than later. I see someone struggling mentally. Even if its not mental illness she was born with, it could be something she developed over time or something caused by an event in her past. Yet, they seem to not be getting help from the content. If they are seeking help, I hope she listens and makes the changes she needs too to heal, improve. Yet, it cannot be forced.
Im an example of that as an autistic child who refused the treatments and therapy bc my dioctors didnt listen to me. and when they did, they left to other states not long into my treatment (our state pays poorly sadly. Esp my area of our state.) It wasnt until i moved state with zero support system or help with professional supports that I decided I needed to get help on my own. So as an adult now (almost 30. wow i didnt think id make it this far honestly.), ive improved so much since i started seeking help in 2016 on my terms. And the journey has been tough and agonizing. There are some friendships I'll never get back. And thats okay. I understand that so much. Im not changing myself for the better to get back in their lives, I'm doing it to stop my harmful cycle. I'm doing this to heal and grow so I never hurt others again.
And im not saying i was not a victim bc, theres plenty of trauma from my early and late childhood and even recent trauma ive been unlucky to take on. But my toxic habits I learned to cope, detatch, distract, and force myself to move on led to me harming others. My lack of seeking help caused many pain.

I’m 24 and nearly EVERY tiktok I’ve ever posted with drink in it has been taken down, how is she getting away with it? Why aren’t the videos getting taken down? There is actually real world problems going on right now, this is just ridiculous

Everyone already knows she’s more than doing it for attention but that’s exactly why people say it. Because she never actually does anything to help herself, she just freaks out and then expects people around her to lift her up. I’ve learned from first hand experience, if you don’t wanna help yourself you won’t change. She’s going that route

I really hate the “they’re just doing it for attention!” argument. Like… yeah. They are. SO GET THEM HELP! If they get to the point where the only way they know how to ask for help is by threatening themselves on a TikTok livestream, then they need HELP. They do NOT need to be punished or isolated even more. It’s so sad that Elpheba is not receiving the help that she CLEARLY needs.
hard disagree. you can only help ppl who want to be helped. she has the means, including the money, to seek help and she does not. instead she tries to gain clout on tiktok by pulling inappropriate stunts all the time, knowing full well it will garner attention and that attention will turn into views and those views will turn into money. in this day in age of accessibility, it is easier than ever to receive therapy and guidance with a click of a button. you can push and push and push and unless that person wants change for themselves, it will never happen. it's unfortunate, but that's how it is. she isn't going to want to better herself as long as she's making money from it. that being said, the BEST thing would be to at least restrict her tiktok for a bit so that she can't profit off of her declining mental health so maybe, just maybe, she'll see that tiktok is contributing to her unhappiness and issues. but they won't do that because they also make a percent off the virality of her actions

The best thing to do is ignore her. As long as people are making videos about her she will keep going. Report her when needed but do it silently, without brag posting. Don’t give her the exposure she’s wanting. Eventually she’ll end up at the bottom with Paul Breach.
