Hi bro, I use vmix with microsoft teams enterprise version and with NDI I allow the capture of each person individually. Also with individual sound which saved me a lot of money on hardware. the truth is that the NDI within MICROSOFT TEAMS improved a lot as well as the NDI 5. greetings from Buenos Aires
Confused by the return to a pinning farm from ZoomISO which you used in an earlier video. Especially if the guests can all be in the same meeting or breakout room, ZoomISO seems more efficient. Plus you'd get ISO audio to keep things in sync. Have you tried ZoomISO v2?
a couple reasons I still use zoom drones over zoom ISO for certain streams: 1. zoom ISO still does not support the ability to have a backup photo or holding slide for a person that turns their camera off or doesn't show up or drops off the call suddenly that we can control instead of the end client having to configure their own photo in zoom. Live Production these things happen and a freeze frame of their last video action in zoom is not always the most appealing to leave up on a live stream if they drop off the call or having difficulty with their internet. 2. Zoom ISO only works for zoom and when client's have other needs for other platforms we still need all the computers to be able to use those other platforms so instead of changing the workflow, we pick a workflow that works for the majority instead of changing how we do things for each and every stream. now we change for some streams when we can and its more convenient. 3. Gear availability, I don't always have unlimited Deck Link cards and enclosures to use with zoom ISO because they are out on another gig or being used for pro presenter instead of zoom ISO etc. If we have unlimited gear we would have more options in setup. 4. zoom ISO is not the most flexible system. Mid show quickly add a program feed to another break out room cause the client just changed scope. I can take one of my backup drones maybe ZoomDrone 7 and run a USB C cable and not I can join that other breakout with a return feed for them. Change of scope last minute does happen more often then you think. SO being prepared for as much as possible and being flexible can be helpful in a pinch. Nothing against zoom ISO. Great product and I intend to use it more and more but nothing is perfect and nothing does absolutely everything yet so we use a lot of different gear to get us closer. Make sacrifices on cost and complexity to get us options and flexibility or sometimes simplicity. Thanks! good question. I will copy and paste this answer as you are not alone. also of people wonder about why or why not to use zoom ISO. I still recommend zoom ISO to people as well.
@@A2ZProductions I would highly suggest you look at ZoomISO v2. It does allow a custom image to be set as "Video Loss Mode." However, it's so interesting to hear the rest of your thoughts here and thanks for taking the time to make such a thoughtful comment reply. Super educational.
Hello everyone. I am also a big Fan of Zoom ISO. Hoverver the latest Release v2.0.4 totally Crached my Mac mini 2 Hours befördert a Show. So I Hand to set up Zoom drones and Hardy made it in time. Enyone hat Zoom ISO v2 crashing.
Excellent! How do you name that service? Because my actual potential clients just want to do their own zooms. :-( No production quality. Do you have a tutorial about Zoom Drones?
Microsoft's cool "Mouse Without Borders" would allow a single keyboard and mouse across all of those Zoom drones (regardless if PC and/or Mac). No manual switching required. This would allow you to stack all of the laptops together.
I'll have to check it out. I've been using Synergy because I am still grandfather into it and is a similar product until you have an IP address issue and it stop connecting to all your machines. It has happened mid show or right before show before.

Another awesome build buddy 😎 Always so exciting to see what you come up with each time 😉 Love it 👍
Thanks for all your behind the scenes stuff! Ben a big help. God Bless!
Greetings from Brazil, awesome setup!
Great idea to work with breakout rooms functioning as lobby, main stage and greenroom!
Great video as always - cheers for the insight!

The Liminal (Zoom?) team is also super responsive over email, maybe a joint case study would be fun. So much change in this space since 2020

I still have not figured out how to separate audio in Zoom ISO v2 pro. Poor documentation. Any link tips?
Hi from Phoenix AZ
You should use ZoomISO with SDI cards to avoid all the converters.
How do you price for events like this? On a rough estimate, how much did you charge for this event?
Great Set Up bro!!!
In the zoom side of things, do you have your own zoom account for those shows, or you have the client provide with the account?
Great

Please do a video to show how you are busy during the stream. It can be interesting. Thanks. 👍👍👍

How much bandwidth are you using to handle all those zoom drones and livestream? You must be on fiber
Did you give up on ZoomISO instead of Zoom Drones?
