I love these so much if only I had the motivation to clean my own house
I do it’s just that I’m always to busy with school and my job
Take a small area at a time, like one a day. Top of a desk size. Then form good habits so stuff doesn't get super messy again. Getting up to put your shoes away, or rotate laundry is a pain, but the pressure of living in a mess causes depression and can be a health hazard. You deserve better.

yo so i have adhd and its hard for me to clean (mainly my room) because i give up, so if you're also like that here's my cleaning checklist thing nobody asked for
also i like to kind of pick up stuff in colors so I'm looking for something while im cleaning and that makes it more fun
my bedroom:
so first pick up any blue bed related things, ex: a blue pillow or a blue stuffed animal
then pick up any red or purple bed related things
pick up any orange, pink, or green bed related things
any other pillow or blanket with a color that wasnt listed
any stuffed animals with a color that wasnt listed
pick up paper or candy wrappers
pick up any bags or boxes
pick up any cans, bottles, cups, bowls, and plates
pick up red, purple, blue, or yellow clothes on the floor or chair (if you have one)
pick up orange, pink, grey/black, or rainbow clothes you have
pick up any other color of clothes that weren't mentioned
pick up any toys, makeup products, etc from any flat surface, ex: dresser or desk
pick up any other stuff on the flat surfaces
wash your sheets and blankets
make your bed (after the sheets and blankets are dry, or choose a new pair of sheets and blankets)
wash your dirty clothes
put away clean clothes (if you have any)
take out the trash
put away any shoes on the floor
sweep the floor
(hopefully) done :)
bathroom:
take all the stuff off the counter
wipe down the counter, then place the stuff you took off in order from tall to short
refill any empty soap bottles (pump a bit of soap from another bottle then add warm water)
wash the towels and washcloths in there
wipe down the sink and faucet
clean the toilet (just a reminder to only use toilet cleaner, and if you don't make sure you have on gloves and safety goggles)
wipe down the mirror
sweep
mop (optional)
done :)

I’ve actually had a hard time cleaning for a while and these really inspire me to clean. Quarantine and the pandemic mixed with school stress really made me fall into a deep pit and I’ve been trying to get out of it for a while now. I will clean soon, wish me luck

Ahhh ya gotta use gloves! I work for a cleaning company and I always wear gloves for everything. I find not only is it good for protecting your skin, it just makes it’s easier to clean cause your hands are all comfy and not getting covered in the nastyness, plus I hate the textures of a lot of cleaning cloths and equipment like magic erasers. I dunno maybe I’m a wuss but I wear gloves weather I’m cleaning public toilets or dusting my own living room lol

@@SarahKeirano I don't clean because I'm a minor and my parents don't give me chores for some reason. But I know you have to use gloves, some cleaning supplies could damage (idk if damage is the right word) your skin. I know you probably know this already, but still.
@@Hannah-vi4th Ah I gotcha! Yea when I was a bit younger my parents didn’t have me do chores either. Maybe you should ask if they need help one day? I’m sure they’d like that. And yes you’re right! One of the reason to wear gloves is that some cleaning chemicals can damage your skin. Things like bleach, or different types of acids found in cleaning products will cause your skin to get a painful/ itchy rash if it touches them for too long. Gloves prevent that from happening though. They’re also good for keeping your hands clean, because yanno when you’re cleaning, all that nastiness can end up on your hands. Some people don’t mind, and just wash their hands, but I really don’t like it though so that’s another reason I wear gloves lol.
