I love Colin but his anti-Purdy bias is so overwhelming that it completely turns me off. Let’s see, Jim Harbaugh & Justin Herbert (love ‘em both - has Herbert even won a playoff game yet?), LaFleur and Love? Gee, LaFleur is a Shanahan disciple and made it to one SB. Love was so good that they didn’t extend his contract - and oh yeah, you know who actually beat him in the playoffs? Yep, Shanahan and Purdy. McCarthy and Dak? Great regular season combo. Purdy beat Dak head to head in the playoffs 2 years ago and Dak has never even been to the NFC championship - Brock has been to 2 in 2 years and won one of them! McDaniel and Tua? Yes, incredible playoff accomplishments for both of them… oh, wait a minute. Campbell and Goff? Did I miss something or did Purdy and Shanahan just beat them in the playoffs this past year? Seriously, I’m a Bills fan but I am hoping that Purdy wins a SB so that Colin and Nick (who’s worse than Colin) will at some point have to admit that yeah, Purdy’s actually really good. Get over it. Embarrassing list!
Why the Rodney Dangerfield treatment for Shanahan/Purdy? Is it because Purdy wore his baseball cap backwards in an interview?

How has everyone forgotten his defense let him down....TWICE after he drove them down field for game winning, scoring drives? He orchestrated a comeback not once, but twice in the playoffs...which was something everyone had been killing him for!!
There are 4 better QBs overall in NFL and that's it...Mahomes, Allen for sure then it's really a tossup. Burrow healthy yes - but can't stay healthy. Rodgers? Perhaps but he's old and coming off an I jury. Lamar? I'll listen to the argument but how's his playoff record with an even better D than SF? Give me 6 other QBs who have a better resume over the last 2 years especially.

The other names ahead of him are quarterback legends. he passed Joe Montana for the most yards in the franchise. He had the highest QBR in history of the NFL in five games this year. He was an MVP talks until week 17.
@TheCephalon accept Purdy had 2 game winning drives in the SB that the defense couldn't help him out with. People forget that and so they say "pUrDy aiNT It". Dude is it and plenty of analysts who actually played the game agree.

@@nevillecoley4976 honestly I agree, the problem is you probably seen the famous stat the charges basically have scored exactly as many points at they’ve given up. The defense has been bottom of the league and the coaching staff has been very sub par. Hebert hasent been at his peak the last 2 years but if you remember when he had a healthy offense in 2021 he put up mvp numbers, I belive he will prove to be top 5 again this year and the wins will come, remember it’s a team sport. But I do agree we need more wins of substance.

I like McDermott in Buffalo but Dabol Allen is right up there with Reid Mahomes and this is no disrespect to anyone else. But look at the last two games of Dabol Allen, Wildcard v the Patriots, the Perfect game 7 possessions 7 TD's it was either TD or kneel down. Buffalo had 1 play that went for negative yards out side of penalties. Against the number 4 defense in the league and Bill Belichick. Next game Buffalo v KC, the 13 second game where everyone said whichever QB had the ball last would win. Last time Allen saw the field he had the Bills up. IMHO if Buffalo still had Dabol Buffalo would have hoisted the Lombardi already.

How can you with any decency put jim harbaugh and herbert ahead of Burrow. They literally havent had a snap together. its like how everyone thinks caleb williams is gonna be something special this year or during his time in chicago at all. The gap of Harbaugh-Zac Taylor is bigger than the Gap of Burrow-Herbert
Because of this new “Burrow is injury prone” narrative. Even though his O line got him hurt his rookie year, and then a random wrist injury this past year that’s as random and unlucky as an ACL tear. It’s the same recency bias that has people saying Jordan Love and CJ Stroud are better QBs than Burrow

To be fair, when he’s only played 4 seasons and had season ending injuries in 2 of them, there are going to be concerns.
I don’t think it should make people doubt his talent or ability to win, but I also don’t think it’s unfair to want to see him consistently stay healthy
@@tylerdaniel8956 anybody would’ve gotten injured behind that Oline and the wrist injury is pure bad luck, I don’t think that’s cause for concern. None of that says “injury prone”. His Oline has improved since his rookie year and I doubt his he tears a ligament in wrist on a routine throw again, so he should be fine
Anyone who watches 9ers games knows purdy is a top qb. I hate them but my gf is a fan so I watch them. He throws with anticipation like a 10 year vet. Also name any other great qb and they all have weapons. The qb still has to make the throws and run the teamj

How do you put Shanahan/Purdy at 11....but Jordan Love at whatever position you did. "The last 10 games he was on fire but we might need to see more". All Purdy has done is win...A lot. And NFC Championship game AND a Super Bowl in a season and a half. If not for his injury...it would have been two straight Super Bowls, probably with a victory but that's hard to tell. I think you missed on that one
The projecting of Harbaugh and Herbert is a bit of a stretch. Being on the list at the 10 spot or even in the bottom 5 is believable, but 3 is relying heavily on paper and not actual results, which most of the other duos are based on.

There’s no way Shanahan and Purdy are not top 5. They’ve accomplished more than half of those duos on this list.
