Not sure its true, but there was a story I heard in Seattle. Gary Payton walked up to Jordan and put his Ferrari keys on the table and said "I got one too" and Jordan just replied "yah but you paid for yours".
He was a savage
That’s so cold🤣
Reminds me of when Jordan drove up to the opposing team at an airport in his Ferrari that was about to play against him in the playoffs and he said "Who's checkin me tonight?"
Mite O Dan that’s in the dream team documentary
I love Jordan story’s .. but I also love the complete opposite story’s of johns Stockton, how he would pull to games in a mini van..
or Stockton walking around the Olympics in Spain interview fans of the dream team, who didn’t even know who he was on the team
“They’re here for me they ain’t here for y’all” 😂
One thing I like about Michael is how humble he is
Lol
Me as well
Bahahahha
Hey Mike there is no I in team.
MJ: “there is in Win”.
That quote is Kobes
One of my favourite Jordan stories was when Bulls assistant coach Tex Winters said”Mike you’re the worst passer Ive ever seen”, to challenge MJ. MJ says, “ I’m the greatest scorer you’ve ever seen so why would I pass it?”
Men MJ to good to pass the ball why pass the ball if hes the best scorer
I met MJ in Sarasota Florida. My brother played baseball for the White Sox in the 90s. This was spring training in 94 I think. Class act 100%...
did you get an autograph?
@@thebestever9920 No way. It was players everywhere at the bars. Frank Thomas, etc. I was high fiving Ellis Burks on the dance floor with a hot blonde between us, lol. The good old days...
I love how anytime a former player is interviewed, all people want to hear is Jordan stories
Yep
The year I went to the Kentucky Derby I saw all kinds of celebrities, heck Richard Branson accidently kicked me in the stomach as I was taking a short breather/nap in the infield. The most memorable part of the whole weekend was standing in the Foyer of the Galt Haus and seeing MJ and Charles Oakley get off that elavator, it's the one and only time in my life I was completely star struck to the point I couldn't speak.
Same here! No lie!!!
Is true at the time Michael was around playing, there was no social media or internet for most part, imagine if it was.. madness all around, everybody wants to see him or have a chance to talk to him. And yes Michael is the biggest NBA Star ever and one of the top 5 athletes recognazibles faces of the world
Damn knicks legend Jared Jeffries lmao, was the best at taking charges...good story
TheTEN24 unmm kyle lowry
dylan k it was mainly a knick fan joke but yea him too 😂
And punches. Carmelo sucker punched him one game
Hoosier legend
Woahhhhhh - have you stopped having to pay the bills?
Jacob Bullinger At least the magic is still here.
I just dont think it matters at this point.
00:21 hahaha did you really put that picture up .. savage
The late night gambling stories between those two....
Muggsy Boags Jordan story is easily the funniest MJ story ever
I like Bob Knight's MJ story about halftime of gold medal game a little bit more. Look it up.
When are you gonna set a pic!
Ever hear the one of him and jeremey roenick, that’s a classic
NO??? WHAT STORY???
Dont forget the fact that Pat won on roulette because Peyton Manning have gave him the gun wink on red #18 as he left the casino !
MJ is the GOAT
The H is Jordan stands for humility
Jack Duff you mean the H in Michael? 🤔
The GOAT!
0:22 Jordan discussing the gambling lines and bets on this game with Tim Donaghy?
Hater
Ha I can’t believe they put that picture up I was laughing
Hahahaha
You are a complete idiot. Donaghy was more in Kobes years. MJ is older than Donaghy moron.
Bets on not making the playoffs?
If you`re getting ex-Hoosiers you should get Tom Coverdale and get some good drinking stories
G O A T
Nah not when you are a billionaire
Pat mcAfee is funny af
Mj is why I listen .to these stories. Every day mj vs lebron . mj this mj.that
His non tipping ass is legendary.
Jared Jeffries sounding like Leon.
it was crazy how the Wizards had MJ and we then decided to basically try and make the National Champion Maryland team the Wizards , by drafting Juan Dixon , (Jeffries played for Indiana who Maryland beat in the finals) we drafted or signed Baxter the Maryland center, and then the next year Steve Blake lol , i think specifically because we needed hometown hero’s after Jordan decided to draft Kwame Brown
Nobody, nobody oversells story like pat
Jordan is the GOAT!!!!!
MJ was the most MODEST player of all time. Zero arrogance. Greatness personified.
Edit* Some of y’all need a sense of humor.
Psssh, dude was very arrogant, difference with most arrogant people, he was right.
@@staomruel more like confidence
Nefarias Bredd exactly lol
Timothy Joy lolol. Never once bragged. You have to admit you’d be arrogant if you were him.
Nah, arrogance
Cause I’m Better 😂
Why is MJ not in the media? Never comments games, never giving interviews? I wonder why. I wish I could hear him more.
LOL ain’t nobody comin to see you Otis!!
*I have a pair of Jared Jefferies size 17 basketball shoes. He gave them to me after a Wizards game. Also got Kwame Brown's headband and Jarvis Hayes' armband*
Is that like the inverse "Like Mike" gear? You put it all on and become a terrible player.
@@dash4800 *Lmao Dude that's halarious, legitimately made me laugh. So so true.* 👍
The way you win, the ways you sacrifice to do so, creates an arrogance.
People without arrogance and confidence don’t do 3-peats.
In the realm of everyday interactions, he’s a jerk, but in the realm of sports, it creates legends. Competitors thrive on competition, and distraction, not friendships and normalcy.
You sacrifice a decent personality to win sometimes, and sometimes that’s the only way you can stay on top.
To win 6 Finals and never see a Game 7 is a rarity you won’t find. The personality behind that type of will, that type of consistency, probably isn’t the greatest guy. His focus is probably laser sharp, and it’s not on making you feel better about you.
Truck Micheal Jorden.
But did he lie?
No he did not......lol 🤣🤣🤣
Heard a story about a bond trader who, when introduced to MJ, asked if he could get Dave Corzine’s autograph.
:20 just a couple of gamblers scheming. Nothing to see here
Hi
I mean people laugh, but it just shows how vein of a guy Michael Jordan is, cuz he wasn't joking. I was googling MJ stories and there's all sorts of stories of him treating waiters, fans, dealers like crap. But he gets away with it cuz MJ is the GOAT regardless of his personality.
aznnp77 *vain
The Oprah interview with Chuck and Jordan says it all about Jordan.
aznnp77
Maybe he was just an asshole to bronsexuals kids like you. You Bronsexuals are pretty aggressive towards others if we don’t share your moronic views.
Lebron who?
Who could live in a fish bowl like MJ did? Exactly, so stop whining about athletes making crazy money.
What a classic selfish Jordan move! Don’t run out with your team because you want more attention to yourself!😂
Eric Walsh
Someone’s a salty sea dog 😂
Cool story, but still funny how so many people have admiration for arseholes. Particularly in the US.
Because it takes asshole tendencies to be as successful as a person like Jordan is.
Shut up dork ..
For real,
Hes an athlete nobody expects him to be like Jesus nor does anyone care of hes nice or not. If he was just some super nice guy like you wish he would never have accomplished all he did trust. You dont get far in life by being nice all the time. I cant even think of more than a few people out of thousands I know that I can even say are always nice. Welcome to the real world bud!
@@robglobal1 Exactly. Most successful CEOs are actually classified as psychopaths. It doesn't mean they go around killing, but that they have no empathy, or care what happens to others. SO they can make billion $ decisions without their feelings getting in the way.
Lebron has been the Man in the league (and by that I mean the Most Important Person Playing Basketball in the NBA) for many more years than MJ, or anybody else for that matter, and has managed to do so with SelfConfidence and aplomb, with the utmost respect and deference for team mates, fans, competitors, the Game, even the employees of the arenas. Always striving for Greatness, but not just his, but everyone else and THIS is the great difference that makes him and others like him, real heroes.
This kind of stories that MJ fanboys like to ooh and aah about speak very bad about his real character and theirs.
This type of anecdote reflects a sick, narcisistic person, with a pathologic desire to best everybody else at all times. And for the record that's not good.
As an sportsman, on the court, he was the best for long and may or may not be the best as a player.
But among the great champions of the game he is miles behind the likes of Jabbar, Russell or Curry or Lebron pertaining to Human Quality and that is the real Greatness that we should all strive for.
I hear you but this is about sports though.
Dude...take a testosterone pill or something smh🤦♂️
Miguel Glass
You sound like the type of guy to like his own comment while eating avocado toast.
Jordan
Wrong.
Jordan is a overall better everything. Lebron is a giant man baby.
Jordan was famous for finding a way to win .. LeBron is famous for finding reasons he lost ..
How LeBron be goat when he has long videos on CZcams of him choking or missing free throws and lay ups to win games ...
>
Bob Dobbs you said Jordan is less than LeBron....
