My hair is soo frizzy naturally that I’ve questioned if I even have curls. This product brought them OUT!! My stylist recommended it last month and I’ve been obsessed ever since.
Mousse Def is the best! Don’t use the oil spray next time. You may find you have less frizz.
Just learned this lesson the hard way with a TWA 😑
Definitely do not need to mix oil with mousse def.
Do we wait after it is fully dried to apply oil to the scalp?
I have been using this mousse and one thing I love is that you can put it on dry hair on days 2-5 just on the frizzy parts and it works as though I re-wet it! Love love love for my 3 C hair

I knew you were talking about Mousse Def before I even saw it. I'm actually watching without sound, but the results said Mousse Def. I've been using it for a while but couldn't get the mousse-only results I wanted, so I used a few products. Until I detoxed my hair with bentonite clay and friends this weekend. I washed with a moisturizing shampoo, then deep conditioned with Aussie, and to style, I put nothing but Mousse Def in and OMG. It's a moisturizing mousse, so I just oiled my scalp afterward. I literally have a wash and go now. My hair was refusing to curl in and shine some spots, but that detox did the job! I think it may even help with a spot of alopecia that may have come from a suffocated scalp. So if Mousse Def doesn't work for you, try a scalp and hair detox first.

The Miche one gave me moisture overload and no hold. I need to try again to make sure but I am scared. I would try this one

My FAVORITE mousse!!!!! It’s all I use most of the time❤️. You honestly didn’t have to use as much either. A little goes a long way and I typically use ALOT of product for my thick hair.

I have tried it without a leave-in or oil, after a sweaty workout on day2 and it still has definition. I’m thinking it will definitely make it to day3, no problem.

A bottle of this is selling for 23$ at rochells hair salons in Grand Cayman its like liquid Gold around here. Its the only thing mouse i use in the hair. I find that its the only thing that provide the volume amd hold that I need in a wash and go. Defined my curls like no other formula Ive used.

Where did you get your haircut at? I’ve been trying to find someone reliable but I’ve had no luck. I went to curl envy one time and even though I loved my haircut when I washed it, I noticed that my hair was very uneven.
How do you refresh or do you have to rewash in 3 days??
I love the roux mousse but I don't feel like it locks the moisture into my hair the way a gel overlay helps to... you also can't use any kind of oil or creme based product in combination otherwise it destroys the hold.
Yes! I've been using mousse lately! I honestly love it but I always add lotion on top for moisturizer. I was afraid it would dry my hair out using it by itself. I will try this brand next! Thanks for sharing. 😊👍🏾

@@kimc5321 I just used the pattern one on my last wash day. It dried my hair out. No definition and the smell is awful. Made me so nauseous. I will be returning. It really made me question people who rave about it
@@kimc5321 I love Pattern’s products and use them daily. Mousse Def has more slip. It’s very easy to work through your hair. Pattern’s foam is soft in texture but doesn’t have the slip of the Mousse Def. I hope that this helps.

The Mousse alone makes my hair too dry, so I pared it with Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic. I got a nice 6 day wash and go out of it. For reference, I have 4b-c hair that is fine and low porosity.

*Try Cantu Wave Whip Mousse*
I'm late, lol, but I've recently starting mousse and gel only wash and gos and it's been a game-changer! Always consistent results. I swear by Cantu's wave whip curling mousse, but decided to give Mousse Def a shot this week. Hmm, it doesn't compare to Cantu's to me. Cantu has all of the same hold benefits, but it feels nourishing. Upon first applying Mousse Def, my hair felt very DRY and it seems like it has alcohol in it. If you haven't tried the Cantu mousse, please do and let us know what you think!
Did you decide not to use a leave-in? Or a curl cream? Does the mousse replace them, or do you not use leavie-ins for Wash and Goes?
With this product, you don’t need a leave in. It says to use it alone
Question for anyone with experience: once you're done with the mousse, and you're letting things dry, do you two strand twist over night, or just pinapple it?
