Nah this won't be that far in the past. And good for it, Arceus was a new story, I'd rather not see it be AZ's story in game form
Z was my second guess. I was expecting a Unova game because that's next on remakes, but with there being so many generations it makes sense to split them up.
Most likely listened to people's predictions then made the game based on the predictions

Since its a Legends game and the video showed the Urban Development Plans before Lumiose City was built, maybe we'll get "preforms" to Mega Evolution? Say, Mega Charizard X looks cool in black and what not, maybe there was "pre perfected" Mega Forms. Example, Legends Arceus showed us the past with regional forms of Arcanine etc, but Hisui and Sinnoh have a connection. Hisui is literally the past of Sinnoh (same region) but the Hisui forms disappeared. So maybe, just maybe, Kalos in the last had Mega Forms but imperfect. Unless they do something where past Kalos has Better Megas but a war broke out, and Zygarde had to use its 100% Form plus the energy of all Mega Pokemon to overcome it, thus reducing their Perfect Mega forms to the forms we know. Thoughts?😊
@p5tq1dg2t it's kinda problematic that pokemon legends z-a is not so far from present bc it whouldn't make sense for special forms or evolutions (like in hisui) to go enkstinct bc they had to adapt more to their biome / all evolution items got used up and no one knows how to remake them, but still hope we will get sm new like more megaevolutions (it whould actualy make sense bc maybe few of megastones got lost while building everything)
It's not problematic because you could just say that it's a retcon. Who's to say our player character really saw every pokémon in Kalos? Pokémon Legends just implies it's fleshing out a legend. I for one am excited for this. @@lunamoth105
@@lunamoth105 That would be pretty awesome. So, we've known Giratina had an Origin Forme since Platinum. Then in Legends Arceus, we got Origin Formes Palkia and Dialga. So, Zygarde has cells and its 100% Form..Would Xerneas and Yveltal get something similar?

One note for Nintendo: Please, just one finished game with no bugs. No rush, no experimental elements that are still in the baby phase. Just a solid finished game. You have a good foundation, use what you already have and polish it. 🙏🏻

I didn't think they would actually skip Unova nor Johto and go all the way to Kalos for a brand new Legends game. But I'm not complaining. Looks like the new Legends game will be set in the future rather than the past like the last game. People have been complaining about two things: One, not having a Pokemon Z for Pokemon XY and two, Mega Evolutions not being in the mainline games since Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. But Pokemon Z is finally here in Legends form and Mega Evolutions are finally returning to mainline game! Pokemon fans are finally getting the two things they've been complaining about not having for a long time and that's awesome!

Considering Pokémon Legends Arceus was the first Pokémon game I've personally enjoyed in a long time, a new Legends game is probably the best announcement they could have made. Fingers crossed it's being developed for the Switch successor!!

After looking at the Pokemon Z-A trailer several times I can for sure say that it's gonna have so many dimensions to it. An X & Y remake with modern graphics and a potential newer engine might make it the most open-world Pokemon game ever! There were so many plot lines and hints and stories that were never finished up properly in the original games so I'm super excited. Not to mention Mega evolutions are coming back! BIG WIN FOR US ALL! Please take your time and do this game justice Gamefreak.

Wait people are saying the trailer was of gen 5 remake but it says “legends Z” and “lumios city” which technically indicates a gen 6 legends game based on zygarde
because they wanted gen 5 remakes, but pokémon planned something for gen 6.
It could still be a possibility. Knowing the rate of Pokémon games coming out it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise if they’re workin on multiple projects at once. Hopefully, it might be best that they don’t do that due to all the missing parts and noticeable laziness from the burnout and deadlines for the last few games to come out.

It been 10 YEARS since the last mega Pokémon came out
If this means what I think it means, then I’m pretty sure this is the first time we’ve seen Gamefreak add two gimmicks within one generation of Pokémon. Every generation after gen 5 has had one and only one unique gimmick, but this time we could have both terrastilization AND megas within gen 9. Unless we also happen to get gen 10 in 2025, but that seems highly unlikely. Either way, i am glad they’re taking their time on this one though.
Wouldn't be the first time. Alola had Z-Moves and Mega Evolution.

I was in middle school when Pokémon X and Y came out, and those were the games that got me really got me back into being a Pokémon fan after years of being out of the fandom. I’ve been a consistent fan ever since, and it touches my heart to see the region and games that got me back into Pokémon, FINALLY get a chance to shine again.

We all thought that gen 2 or gen 5 remakes or legends game were coming but it turns out that Pokemon was one step ahead of us and give us huge suprise by announcing a gen 6 legends game. I think this is happiest moment of my life 😢. You didn't let us down thank you Pokemon.

I share the same excitement as everyone else for today's Pokemon Presents and joyful Pokemon Day celebration. Looking forward to potential announcements like Gen 2 and Gen 5 Remakes, and perhaps additions like Pokemon Let's GO and Legends Celebi. The anticipation is palpable!

To everyone who's procrastinating with this video, here's a little checklist for when you get back to studying/working:
• A bottle of water. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate 💦
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time ⚡
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more
with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone 🎧
• Tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well ☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/ phone,
a few pens, paper or whatever you need 📚
Remember to take breaks whenever you need along with moving your body around a bit so you're not always sitting! Have a beautiful day/night ✨
I hope they take their time and don’t announce a brand new game, I will be perfectly happy with some ports of gameboy and Ds era pokemon games while waiting on the next big release.
But if they do announce anything I hope it’s bw remakes or a new Pokémon conquest.
