    that was super...hope the wife did not come home and say she just crashed the car.. now that would be a bad day. a lot of damage for an into a tree crash....very strange. looked like you are doing a lot of overhead flying which for a heli is very difficult...for me anyway :)

    I agree with everything in this video. As Jeff said the m4 likes to run headspeed north of 2400.
    I just can’t get enough of my protos 380s. Tough as nails!

    I found with the M4, it likes higher head speed. It feels heavy and sluggish at anything under 2400 RPM. I was not impressed with the M4 and it’s gone now because of a crash that it was cheaper to buy anther one then rebuild and I didn’t enjoy it.

      What about the RS4 Venom? Does it fly totally different than this M4?

      @Twx97 Před 5 měsíci +1

      much much better. handles alot better in a crash. till now i have 3 crashes on the rs4 venom and it haven't reached the $100. whereas the m4 costs as much as a new pnp kit for 2 light crashes due to the esc just restarting mid flight. but for the ease of build and maintance i gotta give it to the m4. just not in flying which is the important thing@@LichaelMewis

      @@Twx97 sweet. I am almost done building my RS4 venom. Looking forward to flying it. Also have my eye on the much larger RS7 to get one day or perhaps the Steam AK700.

      @@LichaelMewis you will love it mate. Super powerful and rigid heli. Just make sure u don’t install the shims on the tail backwards like me lol. For a 700 tbh I would go with the steam. Looks solid and bulky. Price of parts are cheaper than the raw 420 lol. Just a super heli overall. But the rs7 also looks nice. I myself skipped both and chose the specter kenny ko editon. You can’t really go wrong with any heli nowadays tho so any heli will be nice. Just which heli is the easiest to access parts

      Really? I had totally the opposite experience. The M4 was much better and well-built than Goosky so I sold the Goosky. Still have the M4 and flies like a dream!

    the "blade flutter" is blade stalling due to too much blade angle at lower rpms. When you tried moving it suddenly to avoid hitting the trees you stalled it basically.

      @xcellfury99 Před 6 měsíci +1

      I just noticed you're running alzrc blades so your blades 100% stalled no doubt lol, they're too narrow and airfoil isnt that good either. RT-U are pretty much the best option for 380s & dont stall early at all as they excel in low rpms. The blades alone might be what you're finding weird about the heli's flight performance like you mentioned in your previous vid. Its a night/day diff what blades alone can do.

      I won't fully say no. But I truly don't think so as I can do that all day and they don't sound or do that ever. I found the issue- the servo arm disconnected. The thing dropped like a rock with zero control. It was so fast and odd. I've been messing around with it trying to stall it again and it's been good. I've messed with the brain2 settings and getting her feeling a lot better. But as you say about blades being too narrow, I too think on this heli it needs wider chord blades.

      @Rusty-Metal  Před 6 měsíci

      @@xcellfury99 yeah I like these on the Protos 380, and Oxy max 4, but way too narrow on this heavier guy. I'll grab some RT for this one.

      Oh btw do you have one and what's your honest opinion about it?

      @@Rusty-Metal I've flown mine TONS, i've been able to try basically every heli in the category since the trex 450 se & i have to say its its the 1st to handle all maneouvers I throw at it especially bc of how strong the tail is + its geometry, holds rock solid with a high ratio & a micro servo is more than enough for it. The canopy post have saved my canopy in all my crashes so thats really good imo, ofc i get a chip or two but no actual ruptures.

    Don't show the wife she might want a bigger Christmas present next year after she finds out what you will be paying in parts I don't ever show the wife any of my crashes anymore because she always ask then how much😅 part of the hobby ...glue it back together again then it will be flying again good luck.

      @@Rusty-Metal I've got most of my helis hid all 20 of them .its like having your own hobby store .the only problem there is you can only fly one at a time.
