    Jackson Merrill is the captain the padres have needed. Can't wait to see him grow more and just knock runs all season for the next 10 years. 💪 he's got a great head on his shoulders and is hungry. What more can you ask of someone than to lead by example.

    I can’t wait to see Tatis & Merrill for the next 8-9 years. Hope Merrill can rub some of that swag back on Tatis, I feel Tatis needs to go back to the 2020 energy and just play ball instead of trying to do too much. Wish him a speedy recovery and LFGSD!!!

    Stop disrespecting profar, profar is this kind of player that whatever he do never get credit, come on Mr irrelevant play any position is a switch hitter you guys know how hard is to do that? And the guy is always happy, and he is made to play with the padres, respect to my guy profar he deserved a good contract next year!!

Who are you Donald Trump?You're such a liar he's NEVER had a BA below .227 as a Padre and is typically in the mid .240 range. When first seeing Pofar , I said the guy has this Ludicrous vibe to him. Nats were seeing this as well but they didnt see the vibe of Pofar as Dangerous in Ludicrous theme and PA at Pads games should play a bit of this when Pofar steps up to the plate. You know? Dangerous is serious of the tune.

    Fair play to JP and his heroics, but them walking Arraez to get to him is just normal baseball tactic, not disrespect. Any other team need to pick their poison there.

  • @Nick-kg4ki

    Arias is a batting champ I would walk him and take a chance on profar as well although he is a good hitter as well.

    @TouchedByTysm Před 5 dny +2

    As a Padres fan, it’s hard to see it as disrespectful from the Nats. Under no circumstance would I want to pitch to Arraez in that situation. I think they still would have walked him even if Tatis was up next.

    • @soyesco

      @@soyesco oh from Profars perspective, I entirely agree. He needs to take it that way, especially after almost catching 97mph to the chin. I’m just referring to all the posts and talking heads I’m seeing this morning questioning if it was disrespect. It’s just smart baseball.

    • @camwordplay
      @camwordplay Před 4 dny

      @@TouchedByTysm We were lucky to have those two guys coming up in that situation. Arraez has not been swinging the bat that well lately, but walking him sets up a force at any base and his run means nothing. Logic says load the bases and take your chances with Profar. But obviously, that was a mistake the way he is playing this year. A true All-Star this year. Let's hope he stays healthy.
