    About: Satisfactory
    Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Pioneering for FICSIT Incorporated means charting and exploiting an alien planet, battling alien lifeforms, creating multi-story factories, entering conveyor belt heaven, automating vehicles, and researching new technologies.
    This Factorio like game has heavy automation, with automated mining, crafting, and you can even automate movement!

    Have you started Nuclear Power yet? This is my first time properly trying it out - and I might regret it!

    • @matthewmalaker477
      @matthewmalaker477 Před 2 lety +1

      I've done it several times, each time with at least one node at the maximum extraction rate of 600 ore/min and set up with the most efficient alternates and full plutonium reprocessing. Those plants get very large very quickly....
      Of course, they're horrifically ugly too. I don't build aesthetic factories because of the object limit. That means no walls, ceilings, or lights. I don't know how much lag/memory those do/don't cause.

      My last project was to build a 10 reactor nuclear platform in the swamp complete with recycling.
      It works, but not as pretty as I wanted it to be to begin with and I could do the water distribution better.
      It doubled my power which comes mostly from turbo fuel on the opposite side of the map.

      I've recently finished my48 Nuclear Power Plants build. It's not pretty by any standard, but should be enough energy to get me through the game, once it releases. :)

      You definitely are going to regret it, when you build it in the spire coast.

    • @walli6388

      I currently do, with a 600 uranium node. That's quite exhausting. I shouldn't have started with 2 600 caterium nodes + water caterium. Not sure what to do with all that wire thought.

    Your boo-boo with the train station unloading is why I set clear defined limits on what can be loaded and unloaded at each station in the train configs. But I love that solution of adding a reversing station, that was really clever and elegant

    the build I have does 10 Blocks of 10 reactors which does the math wonderfully. could have gone 16 blocks of 10 with the alternate recipe, but the math was not as clean. Each block has a fuel room supporting the block and a recycling recycling room.

    I was doing nuclear for the first time the other day and MK5 belts that transfers 780/min of raw uranium can feed exactly 19.5 max overclocked nuclear plants lol of course you'll need the entire factory set up to produce enough for said rods before that but yeah with no proper way to split lines and 4 uranium nodes in total you could make a max 78 fully over clocked nuclear plants on the map! Assuming the impure can get up to 780 I dont actually know if they can at mk3 miners

    Wait until you have to pipe the water to feed those power plants - if you are using only standard recipes I think the math works out to 45 plants for 600 uranium and the alternate recipe can feed 72 plants. It’s looking amazing Total - can’t wait to see the final version after 1.0 comes out.

    OK, so I thought you were over building when I saw so many sulphur acid refineries. I run my 10 unit platform on I think 2 refineries for acid.
    You also get some of that acid back.

  • @greenscorpeon3
    @greenscorpeon3 Před 2 lety

    hahaha, i ran into the same problem.
    I had calculated how much Uranium fuel cells i could produce by utilizing un-overclocked mk2 Miner, only once i started placing the Nuclear power plants i realized that im making enough fuel cells for way too many power plants.
    Luckily for my setup, i basically had my production split into two symetrical sides, which i just disabled one of them. So the fuel cell production is cut in half

    10/0.2=50 50*2500=12500 0.2 is how much the nuclear power plants use for the fuel rods

  • @scottwright7177
    @scottwright7177 Před 2 lety

    The Uranium Fuel Unit alternate reduces all resources needed by 16.63% for the same amount of power (if you're sinking plutonium rods). The problem is they are changing that recipe in the next update. Also, the Infused Uranium Cell alternate reduces all resources needed by 4.13% for the same amount of power (again, sinking rods). Using both alternates gives you the most power per Uranium Ore. According to my calculations, no alternates gives 75GW, just Uranium Fuel Unit gives 112.5GW, and both alternates give 180GW per 600 Uranium Ore/s.
    I have built 2 or 3 of the 112.5GW setups and 1 of the 180GW setups. The 112.5GW setup is by far the easiest to build for the amount of power you get. Both of the other setups require more machines and moving more items for the power you get.
