Tour the Petersen Automotive Museum with the Affinity Car Group of The California Club

On April 27th we gathered at The California Club with good friends and club members to go on a tour of the Petersen Automotive Museum. This was a private tour of the Petersen by their COO Michael Bodell, and was planned by the Affinity Car Group of The California Club.
The Tour started at the club on a nice Saturday morning where members and guests enjoyed fresh coffee and pastries and good conversations as we awaited the private tour bus to take us to Petersen. Once it was time, the group loaded up on the bus and drove down to the Petersen to enjoy some truly one off cars and learn all about the history of the greatest automobiles of our time!
The tour started from the top floor of the museum and worked our way down to their vault where they keep the very special cars that they rotate in an out for display. Once the tour was done we gathered around the tables for a great lunch provided by the club, and we had the opportunity to present the Petersen with a check for a donation from the club in order to support their museum!
After a fantastic day spent with great friends having great conversations, we headed back to the club to relax and reflect on some of the cars we saw. Overall it was a wonderful event and we thank the Affinity Car Group and The California Club for hosting the tour and look forward to seeing everyone again at the next event!
