That’s a beautiful tune!!!! Stunning! Awesome job sir!
Great video man.. glad to come across the channel.
Awesome video! Monster Bike!
The Anti Wheelie is On and this feature comes stock and it cannot be turned off unless buying a package from ktm. Then it will go wheelie even in 5th gear.
Will you guys ever make a tune for the 890 Duke?
Awesome gains BT Moto Majic👍
Anti wheelie was still on it can come up 3rd gear easy stock
It looks like the anti wheelie still holding you back
Not surprising considering it doesn't have the tech pack unlocked... huge oversight literally killing the feel of the bike. Basically neutered without it.
Still trying to find a shop to install my header on my ZH2 before I use my BT tuner. Hopefully you guys can make a ZH2 before after video 🤘
Do you have dyno results of SD's with the rotty airbox and such mods? And how would that compare to this bike from your experience?
I have a '19 1290R and i'm looking around for flash options, what you are offering looks very interesting.
What camera are you using here?
I have a 2020 KTM Super Adventure R, slip-on exhaust, and KN air filter. Does Brent Tune have anything for this combination?
I would like to see how it compares to the Akra ti with map for the 2022 model.
Does this tune include throttle mapping? Like actually giving 100% throttle at 6k rpm instead of 60% throttle.
Is the Evolution clutch stock on the KTM???
The head wobble is crazy
Your website shows for years 17-19. I assume that is what you’re showing here? Also, this would be good with the full Akra ?
We have a 20+ specific product page as well select that one and we can help you
What are the mirrors you have on called?
Keep up the good work
Rizoma Stealth
I recently purchased a Stage 2 for my s1000XR deleting the cat. It transformed the bike completely. More power everywhere, no more jerky throttle at low speed, QS is much more precise and the reduced temp was well worth the price of admission. It should really come from the factory that way. These current Euro standards neuter bikes so much nowadays.
Not sure about the US model, but in the EU you need to have the track pack to turn wheelie control off and it will wheelie in third...
Next video with tech pack.. you’ll see why we don’t like it
I have the EU and I'm having a hard time trying to wheelie this thing, from what I've seen in videos, this thing should wheelie almost in every gear, but I have it in Performance mode, with MSR in 3-4 and AWM off and I have to push it really hard to take the front wheel a couple of inches off the ground.
any idea what am I doing wrong, or what settings should I set it to, to free the beast?
thanks in advanced
My 2023 superduke lift wheel on 4th gear with no flash old 2022 did not , bud i crush this one
Good video, great bike. So many riders don't know that their KTM needs a track pack to reach its potential.
We review that on the next video
How would this effect warranty? Very tempting
You can flash back to stock anytime
that wobble at 20:40 would make me shit my pants lol
Rear preload and SuperDuke’s linkage rear ride height change = no headshake
Glad my Gen1 SDR doesn't have any head shake at speed. Can anything be done for that on Kay's Duke ?
Yeap, relax a little and don't hold on too tight.
Mine did that, got the suspension dialed in. Whala no more head shake!
Wow that’s quite the engine displacement boost!
Thank you lol
@@BT_Motoman do you have the stock steering damper on superduke in this video? Hows is it
@@SuperDukEv0 wouldn’t hurt to be stiffer
that mapping on the dyno can be placed on a usb and shared!
This vs sf v4s vs mt10 sp all after your flash, what are your thoughts?
Depends what you’re going for. The all around winner of those three would be this bike IMO
@@BT_Moto too bad this bike never came to the Philippines. I think i’d like this because of the low and mid range plus the fast handling, currently on an mt10 sp and i got your bt moto flash, also like the sf for three chassis and ergos.
What is the Topspeed
Does tuning it mess with the electronics
Or does it work well no matter wbat
All the modes function as stock still
Wondering if allowing the motor to go a full 1000 rpms over factory redline is good thing for motor longevity.
We haven’t seen or heard of any detrimental effects to the longevity of the engine, with our raised limiter.
OMG, I thought 155whp mt10 was a handful....at times. This thing would make my yamaha feel like a z50!😂😢
With MSR on there’s not much engine braking.
As far as increasing the red line, I wouldn’t want to do that, just increase the mid range torque.
You can request a stock RPM limiter, if you’d like
Does the tune sort out the very twitchy throttle?
Yes
Is this tune for sale on the site for 2023 models?
Yes
❤❤❤❤
My 2021 1290 R is stock and wheelies very easy in 2nd and even 3rd gear without clutch.
That and it looks like it's wobbling more than it should.
Maybe the steering is out of spec
Same. I don't understand how he managed to not wheelie this bike. And that wobble... Stop griping the bar handle like it will fly. Mine can wheelie in 4th gear over little bump without clutch and 100% stock.
the owner didn't purchase the tech pack so can't turn off anti-wheelie mode xD. When he said the front wheel is "hovering" that's the wheelie control kickign in and allowing it to stay maybe 6 inches off the ground.
So does my GT (stock with an SC slip on). I wish the tune would quicken up the quick shifter. Stock it is so slow I would call it an auto-shifter, not a quick shifter because I can clutchless shift way faster than that consistently and a quicjshifter shold be faster (more seamless pull) than clutchless. I would trade that feature for pops any day.
@@smoke05s Weird, my 2023 R shifts very quickly and I get that big BANG/POP on each shift.
What's up with the headshake bro?
Tire pressures?
It’s rear preload or squat causing head shake. Max preload a game changer
@@chriseastburn3551 Also, holding the bars too tight. It really matters with this KTM.
I put mine in track mode and you cannot keep the front down in any gear so idk what these dudes are talking about
Track mode review on another video
I ride a gen 2 with a decat and shorty SC project. This tune makes me concerned about bad tank slappers with how loose it looks like it's getting
How would a tune affect the bike doing tank slappers??
How anyone gets away with going faster than the speed limit on a bike blows my mind. I go 10mph over and im pulled over. Just got pulled over for the second time. Pissed
That wobling is nuts. Can you fix it with automatic damping?
I’ve owned the gen2, and a gen3, I’ve found this is fairly typical if holding too tight on the bars/ not relaxed enough.
It’s a little surprising that when it’s stock it’s struggling to lift the front. I’m fairly stocky, and both of my gens will lift in 4th if sitting upright, and brutally lifts the front in 3rd
Aa as i now remember I had the same problem with my 2008 SMC R and it fixed when softened the front dampening...
@@roadkillnz That's exactly it, if you hold the bars hard, it will wobble. It's good practice because you SHOULD hold the bars lightly.
After owning two of these bikes@@ShamanWS6 I find it easier said than done. The torque on these things are immense and so much fun. I naturally find myself clamping on to not fall off the back lol.
That head shake at that speed...
You get used to it. It’s really just skimming the pavement all of the time. True unicycle, but it never gets bad.
It’s all about getting rid of the rear squat and ride height. After preload change & ride height change no wobble. I have the EVO so it’s easy to max the rear preload. SuperDuked linkage a must
@@chriseastburn3551 The Evo nearly eliminates the headshake in auto mode, keeps the sag at a reasonable height. The real trick is to hold the bars lightly, most headshake is caused by the rider's arms fighting each other.
Looks like no track pack and your wheelie control is always on hence the wheel not coming up, even on my one you have to set it up for wheelies, tc needs shut off or it shuts power at back if you try to wheelie.
When you have an animal of a bike like this you better believe you have to control the throttle
That flash is letting a lot of fuel through into the exhaust, did the flash shut down wheelie control i wonder
Check out our new video with a tech pack SDR
My gen 3 does not slap around like this at all, under full power sometimes, but no were near as bad as this. I have spent quite a bit of time setting it up though. looking forward to tuning mine like this. Good job BT
No techpack?!
Next video ;)
Isnt hes about to sell that bike?
He needs to unlock the bike and he needs ill easly life in 2nd and 3rd
For reels.. I rode out of track mode for 5 mins...and never turned it off again. I can't believe he didn't unlock it😂
@@wmartin0814 🤣🤣 exactly its so painful to watch these big CZcamsrs pourly represent this bike
60- 100 slower... maybe done not only 2nd gear thru gears but a 60mph 4th or 5th gear roll on to prove torque gain on rd
The 100-150 shows gains without the massive effort of trying to keep the wheel down post flash
Maybe so but most don't ride flat just saying a timed pull low revs in high gear to see pick up from low revs which most would use or maybe another ktm side by side comparison.. Great vids tho😂
@@kevinmill7965 also massive amounts of slope on the stock pull compared to flashed. Another couple tenths at the minimum right there
The head shaking under acceleration clearly tells you that you are pushing too much power through the chassis.
No, it's the geometry of the bike. It's a little longer than it really should be but is more or less eliminated by holding the bars lightly. Most of the headshake is the rider. The geometry is fixed two ways: raising rear ride height or if you have a little money you can put a SuperDukeD adjustable triple on it and pull the wheel in a bit... more of a racing requirement, I find the stock bike handles quite well. Forcing myself to hold the bars lightly made me a better rider as well.
A 1000 rpm increase on red line is massive… the piston speed increase on those huge pistons means the loads on the bearings, rods and cap bolts will be extreme… hope the engine stays together. Not something I would do.
Usually capped due to noise regulations, not due to a mechanical limit. Been doing this to these for years with zero issues
What is the point of tuning the bike that has it's basic features locked? What do you mean "no quick shifter." On gen 3 Superduke?! You've got to be kidding! So you spend thousands on tuning and skimp a few hundreds on unlocking performance package?
See our new KTM SDR video
It’s because the bike is as long as a hayabusa bro.. 58.5 inches it’s over 2 inches longer than the average bike.. nothing is more tame about the engine.. it’s length is just trading wheelies for acceleration
It’s because he was in sport mode, imKay didn’t get the tech pack yet, Sport mode is like a puppy dog compared to Track mode’s Beast.
@@kmfiz I own the bike.. I have track and tech.. there’s no difference in power between the two modes.. just throttle response. I’m a placebo effect because when you’re only at 60% throttle it’s actually giving you 100%
@@garyparietti5124 I have the bike as well, 2020 model. Yes, throttle response, I know there’s no change in peak power, but on such a torquey V-twin, throttle response is huge. I’m just saying there’s a big difference in how the bike behaves (or misbehaves;) in Track mode vs sport.
@@garyparietti5124 The main difference is the ability to turn off wheelie control, and you probably know already this bike will easily lift through the first 3 gears even stock.
@@jadeviper1290 wouldn’t call it easy.. it takes a hard clutch up in 3rd and a soft clutch up in 2nd.. I’ve owned many other bikes that are easier to wheelie.. the bike is long
it still doesnt look aggressive like the 1.0 Duke
??? the first superduke looks like shit in comparison, even the 2nd gen duke is miles above. that old headlight is so ugly, the new one is unique and aggresive, the body panels are sharp and stylish, the frame looks better on 2nd gen but the performance gain of making it a stress member is worth it. what are you smoking lol
@@jadeviper1290 i didnt mean the look. it doesnt look RAW like the 1.0 and i personally dont think its ugly at all.
Amazing but those high rpm are not goo for the engine.. if there is a reason why ktm did not do that.
Just noise regulations, that’s it. You’re also welcome to request a stock redline
I know what’s missing… It’s missing a BrenTune flash🔥
Turn off anti wheelie 🤣🤣dont Need the Flash✊only tech pack
Cameraman gonna lose a hand like that Jesus
Like v4 😂😂 v2 more grunt✊🔥🔥
Ymin eeee uuuu eeee uuuuuuu aaaa iii i m iiim yyyyyyyyeeeeeemmmmmmm typical american hhaaahahhhaa
Keep Throwing Money
Yeah, not impressed and the pops and cracks. No thank you
To reduce exhaust noise, we recommend you leave it completely stock
Another blasphemer... unfortunately!
I have a 2021 and I love it, but I did the Trackpack before I left the dealer on day one ☝️ he needs the quick shifter and the other things that comes with it 🫡
Definitely, the bike is so neutered without it. The owner constantly bags on the bike saying its not fast and doesn't wheelie when it basically has training wheels on xD
