In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Incredible story... The other commenters don't seem to like the details of the climb... But it actually explained the role of emotions perfectly
My gosh lady - spare us the details on the damn mountain climbing and get to the point of the video!
I just finished reading her book !
Somehow listening to this has depleted me of positive emotions, and replaced them with a minutia of irrelevant information wrapped in a British accent.
Agreed it was more of a therapy session for her
mate whatahell was that lol
Emotion in decisions described perfectly
.
Good job.
Coming up with a story is a good method to advertise, but NOT ALWAYS.
The topic interests me, emotions and decision making. But this video is more of your description of your ascent of Mount Everest. Congratulations on that, but the title is misleading.
I have seen that when humans involve emotions and past experience in decision making, they mostly make the wrong decisions
i think water is more important🤔for heart the magic is only 3 days....brain try to live forever ( he) is crazzy 🤣
20 min of my life I will never get back....this is the first bad Ted I have ever seen. Poor contents, hard to relate.
