When I say the stock music in Final Fantasy 15 isnt good - I'm referring to the music that plays the majority of the game in the country and in the cities. NOT the scripted moments where you have individual character or moment themes. Sorry I wasnt more specific for you, I thought the actual shown video example would be sufficient, but not for some, or perhaps this is just their way of adding to the discussion. so to review, I didnt mean the tracks from previous Final Fantasies that you can search for and play in its place and I didnt mean the specific character tracks created for this one here and there. I meant the music that plays for the majority of the game if you bother with grinding and sidequests on the DEFAULT TRACKS. Hope thats clear now. Thank you!

I'll say Uncharted 1 is good, Ucharted 2 went for a nice trip, certanly amazing, Uncharted 3 introduced a better multiplayer for the franchise and Uncharted 4 went for amazing views, cool story (although you could say the missing brother was some weird shit but...) and an upgrade to multiplayer that maybe is not that different. But if Uncharted 4 is the last game, they went with everything they had at the time, Naughty Dog's been doing great games and they try to deliver with the best, almost the sole reason to have a PS4 are Naughty Dog's games IMO, and with The Last Of Us Part II coming you know they're going to deliver another game of the year.

Uncharted 4 was pretty freaking epic... But I really do think I will remember The Last Guardian's Story and experience for far longer. It's message of trust, respect and selflessness resonated with me even though it was packaged in such a strange fantastical way. A truly spectacular game and a technical marvel with special attention to animation, physics, sound design and *that music!* Probably the most thoroughly epic, subtle and emotional videogame soundtrack created to date! I can't think of a single videogame soundtrack that elicits such strong emotional response even if you haven't played the game before you know just by listening to tje music exactly what's being conveyed. Even the sense of a locations scale feels present in each track - though maybe not everyone will agree I really do think this is the most interesting and amazing music in games to date. I would argue it's better than the likes of Journey's score. There are some technical issues and I had a few rough times finding my way in a couple locations, killed myself by mistake probably 3 times and had minor issues scaling Trico throughout the duration of my first playthrough. Even with those technical issues I cursed less playing The Last Guardian than playing any other game in 2016! *The Last Guardian is my personal Game of The Year for 2016.*

there is alot of story in dark souls. Its just not told to the player directly, you have to piece it together yourself and even still one persons interpretation may be different from another's. Also the level design and atmosphere is fantastic.

Overwatch is a game I played loads of and loved, but I LAUGH when someone says it is game of the year or even close. Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 had EQUALLY good multiplayer and EXCELLENT single player. Overwatch had no singleplayer, offering much less than the other two!

DS3 is by far the worst of the souls games. Uninspired story ripped off from DS1, no added mechanics or 'agility' stat(so every enemy is dodged on the same timings), environments were over bearing and not utilized except for nostalgia to DS1. Lack of weapons and armor, and their availability early game. I could go on.

Demon's Souls was more like Ds3 in its weapons and armor availability, especially considering how hard it was to find unconventional weapons in Demon's. Then when you consider that Atlas was the 'all star' company that denied signing off on the rights for DS1, and the entire visual style had to be overhauled, its obvious that they games are shockingly different. There is a reason DS1 is revered and Demon's souls is a relic. If you consider every 'fantasy' setting with Knights and Dragons to be the same, then there is nearly zero variation between any fantasy setting. Its probably time for you to broaden your perspective instead of wasting your hobby-less time talking down to people anonymously.

Dark Souls 3 definitely deserved a spot or at least an honorable mention, my favorite game ever. We all understand that SoulsBorne genre is not everybody's cup of tea, but I think FromSoftware actually made this one for a much wider audience, compared to previous titles. Therefore, I would recommend anyone and everyone to at least give it a try. And once you finally manage to beat the first boss, it will click haha
He started 2016 out so good but then fell off towards the end. There aren't too many games announced for Q1 2017 as it seems publishers are waiting closer to release to announce dates to ensure that delays don't happen. Early 2017 shouldn't be too tough for him to keep up with. January just has Gravity Rush 2 and Resident Evil 7 as far as AAA games are concerned and then a few smaller games that Joe probably won't even play like Yakuza 0 and Tales of Berseria. February has Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nioh, For Honor, and Halo Wars 2 so that's probably the busiest month so far. Mass Effect: Andromeda is probably aiming for March but the fact that they haven't officially announced that is telling. I don't think they would make the same mistake they made with Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 this year and release Mass Effect and Battlefront 2 in Q4, but don't expect to see Andromeda before like August or September. I could see Ghost Recon: Wildlands being delayed too considering it's an Ubisoft game and they really aren't talking about it that much yet. Perhaps South Park: The Fractured but Whole will take it's place though. So all that really leaves for March is NieR: Automata and the Nintendo Switch's launch titles (probably that 3D Mario game). I doubt Joe will be able to do anything on Nintendo since they're such twats when it comes to CZcamsrs. April has Persona 5 and Yooka-Laylee which, while they're both worth getting excited for, they're pretty niche and I doubt Joe will do a review on either. Based on NetherRealms' history, April is probably when Injustice 2 is coming out though. Stuff like Agents of Mayhem, Tekken 7, Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy, Scalebound, Gran Turismo Sport, and stuff like that will probably come out between May and September, Destiny 2 will probably come out in September. Q4 will be Battlefront 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Prey, God of War, Crackdown 3, Assassin's Creed: Osiris, and probably other games that aren't announced yet. Q4 will probably be pretty crowded, so hopefully Joe can manage then.

Uncharted 4 was hardly game of the year lol it's fun for a couple of days but it ain't gonna last you a month nevermind a year whereas games like Forza Horizon 3, Overwatch, Titanfall 2 and Gears of War 4 have plenty of replayability and have plenty of free dlc on the way in the future to keep the games fresh
2016 was *so* underwhelming compared to last year. None of these games come close to Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, MGSV etc. Hell, even Fallout 4, despite all of its flaws, would still have dominated most of this stuff had it come out this year.

2011, really? I thought 2011 was unbelievable. Skyrim, Dark Souls, The Witcher 2, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Portal 2, Battlefield 3, Bastion, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Catherine, even Star Wars The Old Republic. It took my years to get through my 2011 backlog, all fantastic games.
2016 was a good year for gaming. I was mostly immersed by Stardew Valley, Civ 6, Xcom2, and Overwatch. What I really enjoy is that Christoper Tin returned to do soundtrack work for the latest civ ^^
I have a simple main reason for why Uncharted is shit on my list, and it's because you can only play it once, and you're done. Let's see, 60 dollars for a single player game that I will play once and beat in a single day, vs. a 40 dollar game that has many days and weeks and months of replayability, with free content updates, etc.? Yeah, trust me, I'd rather put Overwatch on my list. Hell, I'd put Xenoverse 2, Megadimension Neptunia V-II, and Senran Kagura: Estival Versus above Uncharted. You want to know why? Uncharted: 1 Day Singleplayer. Will probably not play again afterwards. Overwatch: Play it whenever I feel like it. No two matches are alike for me. Free content updates. Gives me even more reasons to spend hours on the game. Xenoverse 2: 4-5 days and continuing to play as I feel like it. Has free content updates sometimes, so I go back and enjoy it more. Megadimension Neptunia V-II: Multiple Playthroughs, different endings, on my 4th playthrough now, which is about 2 days of ingame time now. Still playing. Senran Kagura Estival Versus: 2 or 3 days of playing the game, attempting to get platinum on said game. Also missing more missions I must complete. My point being, you don't get shit for Uncharted. You get another movie game with gameplay that, hell, I may as well play TLOU if I want to play a game like this. Games like these require some form of interactivity in 'cutscenes' and such to actually be good games.

JavaDog 강 - I was going back and forth between those 2 games but I had to give it to DS3 just because I played it so much more. I was hooked and did 4 playthroughs including NG+ and NG++. I loved Uncharted 4 but after playing through it once, I felt satisfied. With DS3, I didn't want to stop playing.

I know you probably haven't played it but i think Dark souls 3 was one of the best games this year ive put alot of time into it, it has alot of replaybily for me at least i'd also add The bioshock collection but it's a remaster & not a new game really so i see why you didn't add it.

I have to agree with the others, FFXV isn't as glitchy as people say. I play aroud 77+hrs of gameplay and I didn't experience any glitch aside from the adamantoise battle. More so, you haven't play it how do you even feel that it's so glitched at all?

When I say the stock music in Final Fantasy 15 isnt good - I'm referring to the music that plays the majority of the game in the country and in the cities. NOT the scripted moments where you have individual character or moment themes. Sorry I wasnt more specific for you, I thought the actual shown video example would be sufficient, but not for some, or perhaps this is just their way of adding to the discussion. so to review, I didnt mean the tracks from previous Final Fantasies that you can search for and play in its place and I didnt mean the specific character tracks created for this one here and there. I meant the music that plays for the majority of the game if you bother with grinding and sidequests on the DEFAULT TRACKS. Hope thats clear now. Thank you!

I'll say Uncharted 1 is good, Ucharted 2 went for a nice trip, certanly amazing, Uncharted 3 introduced a better multiplayer for the franchise and Uncharted 4 went for amazing views, cool story (although you could say the missing brother was some weird shit but...) and an upgrade to multiplayer that maybe is not that different.
But if Uncharted 4 is the last game, they went with everything they had at the time, Naughty Dog's been doing great games and they try to deliver with the best, almost the sole reason to have a PS4 are Naughty Dog's games IMO, and with The Last Of Us Part II coming you know they're going to deliver another game of the year.
+Yorcont I haven´t played Last Of Us. But I have seen walkthroughs of it. I know it is a unpopular opinion, but I think that Last Of Us was too overrated.

EA was thinking they get BF1 and Titanfall 2 out before Cod and thats it. Knowing BF1 was ironically the titan of the two, that got put first and it deserves its spot. It feels so fresh and has a ton of character and polish. TF2 is just another twitch shooter where no one seems to give a fuck about the objective.

Uncharted 4 was pretty freaking epic...
But I really do think I will remember The Last Guardian's Story and experience for far longer. It's message of trust, respect and selflessness resonated with me even though it was packaged in such a strange fantastical way. A truly spectacular game and a technical marvel with special attention to animation, physics, sound design and *that music!*
Probably the most thoroughly epic, subtle and emotional videogame soundtrack created to date! I can't think of a single videogame soundtrack that elicits such strong emotional response even if you haven't played the game before you know just by listening to tje music exactly what's being conveyed. Even the sense of a locations scale feels present in each track - though maybe not everyone will agree I really do think this is the most interesting and amazing music in games to date. I would argue it's better than the likes of Journey's score.
There are some technical issues and I had a few rough times finding my way in a couple locations, killed myself by mistake probably 3 times and had minor issues scaling Trico throughout the duration of my first playthrough.
Even with those technical issues I cursed less playing The Last Guardian than playing any other game in 2016!

there is alot of story in dark souls. Its just not told to the player directly, you have to piece it together yourself and even still one persons interpretation may be different from another's. Also the level design and atmosphere is fantastic.

Overwatch is a game I played loads of and loved, but I LAUGH when someone says it is game of the year or even close. Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 had EQUALLY good multiplayer and EXCELLENT single player. Overwatch had no singleplayer, offering much less than the other two!

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine was by far my favorite thing I played this year. Uncharted 4, Battlefield 1, and Titanfall 2 are also excellent.

DS3 is by far the worst of the souls games. Uninspired story ripped off from DS1, no added mechanics or 'agility' stat(so every enemy is dodged on the same timings), environments were over bearing and not utilized except for nostalgia to DS1. Lack of weapons and armor, and their availability early game. I could go on.

Step 1, don't try acting snarky when you have no idea what you're talking about. Demon's Souls was more like Ds3 in its weapons and armor availability, especially considering how hard it was to find unconventional weapons in Demon's. Then when you consider that Atlas was the 'all star' company that denied signing off on the rights for DS1, and the entire visual style had to be overhauled, its obvious that they games are shockingly different. There is a reason DS1 is revered and Demon's souls is a relic. If you consider every 'fantasy' setting with Knights and Dragons to be the same, then there is nearly zero variation between any fantasy setting. Its probably time for you to broaden your perspective instead of wasting your hobby-less time talking down to people anonymously.

I've never loved a game so much as uncharted 4. It really is now my favorite game. I liked it even more than the last of us. They should make a movie or a tv series about it so even not gamers can enjoy it.
i fucking love the Uncharted series myself, but i think a movie or tv series would be a terrible idea. As i think without Nolan North playing Drake it wouldn't be the same character, and i don't want to see the series ruined as uncharted 4 ended it perfectly.

Dark Souls 3 definitely deserved a spot or at least an honorable mention, my favorite game ever. We all understand that SoulsBorne genre is not everybody's cup of tea, but I think FromSoftware actually made this one for a much wider audience, compared to previous titles. Therefore, I would recommend anyone and everyone to at least give it a try. And once you finally manage to beat the first boss, it will click haha

He started 2016 out so good but then fell off towards the end. There aren't too many games announced for Q1 2017 as it seems publishers are waiting closer to release to announce dates to ensure that delays don't happen. Early 2017 shouldn't be too tough for him to keep up with.
January just has Gravity Rush 2 and Resident Evil 7 as far as AAA games are concerned and then a few smaller games that Joe probably won't even play like Yakuza 0 and Tales of Berseria.
February has Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nioh, For Honor, and Halo Wars 2 so that's probably the busiest month so far.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is probably aiming for March but the fact that they haven't officially announced that is telling. I don't think they would make the same mistake they made with Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 this year and release Mass Effect and Battlefront 2 in Q4, but don't expect to see Andromeda before like August or September. I could see Ghost Recon: Wildlands being delayed too considering it's an Ubisoft game and they really aren't talking about it that much yet. Perhaps South Park: The Fractured but Whole will take it's place though. So all that really leaves for March is NieR: Automata and the Nintendo Switch's launch titles (probably that 3D Mario game). I doubt Joe will be able to do anything on Nintendo since they're such twats when it comes to CZcamsrs.
April has Persona 5 and Yooka-Laylee which, while they're both worth getting excited for, they're pretty niche and I doubt Joe will do a review on either. Based on NetherRealms' history, April is probably when Injustice 2 is coming out though.
Stuff like Agents of Mayhem, Tekken 7, Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy, Scalebound, Gran Turismo Sport, and stuff like that will probably come out between May and September, Destiny 2 will probably come out in September. Q4 will be Battlefront 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Prey, God of War, Crackdown 3, Assassin's Creed: Osiris, and probably other games that aren't announced yet. Q4 will probably be pretty crowded, so hopefully Joe can manage then.

2016 was *so* underwhelming compared to last year. None of these games come close to Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, MGSV etc. Hell, even Fallout 4, despite all of its flaws, would still have dominated most of this stuff had it come out this year.

2011, really? I thought 2011 was unbelievable. Skyrim, Dark Souls, The Witcher 2, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Portal 2, Battlefield 3, Bastion, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Catherine, even Star Wars The Old Republic. It took my years to get through my 2011 backlog, all fantastic games.

I have a simple main reason for why Uncharted is shit on my list, and it's because you can only play it once, and you're done. Let's see, 60 dollars for a single player game that I will play once and beat in a single day, vs. a 40 dollar game that has many days and weeks and months of replayability, with free content updates, etc.? Yeah, trust me, I'd rather put Overwatch on my list. Hell, I'd put Xenoverse 2, Megadimension Neptunia V-II, and Senran Kagura: Estival Versus above Uncharted. You want to know why?
Uncharted: 1 Day Singleplayer. Will probably not play again afterwards.
Overwatch: Play it whenever I feel like it. No two matches are alike for me. Free content updates. Gives me even more reasons to spend hours on the game.
Xenoverse 2: 4-5 days and continuing to play as I feel like it. Has free content updates sometimes, so I go back and enjoy it more.
Megadimension Neptunia V-II: Multiple Playthroughs, different endings, on my 4th playthrough now, which is about 2 days of ingame time now. Still playing.
Senran Kagura Estival Versus: 2 or 3 days of playing the game, attempting to get platinum on said game. Also missing more missions I must complete.
My point being, you don't get shit for Uncharted. You get another movie game with gameplay that, hell, I may as well play TLOU if I want to play a game like this. Games like these require some form of interactivity in 'cutscenes' and such to actually be good games.

Don't know how? Maybe he doesn't like RTS games? I think every Total War is boring and the Warhammer edition is no different. Do you play Hearts of Iron IV? Many regard that as real strategy and think that Total War and Civ IV is for kids. But, I bet you never heard of it let alone played it.

Compared to 2015 with games like The Witcher 3, MGS V, Bloodbourne, etc, 2016 was kinda lackluster. 2017 and beyond though is looking amazing.

Eddie Cardwell was a good year for FPS. Doom, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 and COD 4. Maybe Overwatch too. Didn't play it though

If you haven't been in the trenches for bad games, that's fine, but you really have no place in that topic. 2016 beats 2014 for bad games bar none, especially when considering bad games to good games ratio. I know you probably haven't played it but i think Dark souls 3 was one of the best games this year ive put alot of time into it, it has alot of replaybily for me at least i'd also add The bioshock collection but it's a remaster & not a new game really so i see why you didn't add it.
Titanfall 2 is still my favorite shooter ever, these ddos attacks really hurt.

YTSP Gaming Final Fantasy 15 from the way Angry Joe presented it looked rushed and looked very glitched is that the main presentation of the game I'm not wasting money on that game if it looks bad it's like what Angry Joe just said how can it be a best game of 2016 if it's so glitched Dark Souls 3 should have took Final Fantasy 15's Place. when I barely have enough money to buy brand new games I have to choose wisely I don't buy used I always buy new no matter what. Zackary Smith the thing is, its not as glitchy as people say. i spent over 100 hours and not a single glitch. i have seen some funny ones though on the internet but I and many others didnt suffer from any.
I just passed the 100 h and I had no glitches . Don't criticise the game if you haven't played it yourself. Angry Joe has never been fan of J-Rpg and he rushed trough the game ...
I have to agree with the others, FFXV isn't as glitchy as people say. I play aroud 77+hrs of gameplay and I didn't experience any glitch aside from the adamantoise battle. More so, you haven't play it how do you even feel that it's so glitched at all?
