- Today, I'm coming to you from a Suite cabin onboard P&O Arcadia, which is one of the older ships in the P&O Cruises fleet. In this video, I'm going to take you on a full tour of a Suite category cabin (A167: the Venice Suite), to give you an idea of what it would be like to cruise in this room.
You can find out exactly what's included in a P&O Suite category cabin at the following link: www.pocruises.com/accommodati...
Let me know in the comments - what do you think of this cabin?

I am sailing on her next year, deluxe balcony as that is sufficient for me, a solo traveler.
Ooh, nice! That’s what I had too - there’s a tour of that on my channel too :)
Fraser:! how u doing?.excellent footage! take care.
The main thing that dates the cabin is the bathroom but otherwise it’s a lovely cabin. The balcony is amazing! Thanks for sharing this one - it’s a great tour 😀
Hey, thank you! I would agree re the bathroom - if they upgraded that, it would really ‘next level’ this room. I was actually quite surprised that the main room looks so similar to what I’d imagine the newer ship suites to look like, but the bathroom was still older…
Looks like a Caribbean Princess suite
Hey! Will need to have a search for this one - I’m intrigued - I was really impressed with this room though!
Many thanks for the video tour we have now booked a suite on Arcadia departing in April to the Med best wishes
Hi Susan, thanks for watching - enjoy your cruise!
Really good cabin tour , not a cabin we would book but I'd be more than happy to stay in it. Only thing, like you mentioned is position of TV, also blocking a window!
Enjoyed this, thanks! I will probably never sail them so it was fun to see. I loved that bathroom!
You and I both - we can dream though, eh? :)
The bathroom was insane - as a solo, I love the opulence of the double sink - I’d absolutely use both just for the sake of it, ha!
always have a suite
Oh, I wish that was my approach!
The aft suites are newer than the ship as they added a new aft a few years after launch.
Ahh, I didn’t know that! I was so impressed with these rooms - so nice!
@@FraserAtSea yes they added a new aft in 2013
I was on the Arcadias maiden seems like yesterday.Cabins are good on the Arc.When did cabins become rooms ?
Looks very nice, especially impressed with the wrap around balcony as you get views from the wake and from the one side.
By the way did you know a friend staying in the suite, or get access from asking staff? (Just curious 😊)
I totally agree - the double views were a real bonus! I didn’t know someone staying in here unfortunately (I wish I did…!) - just managed to get in to shoot the video!
Fraser, were you really on Arcadia last week? I didn’t see you anywhere on board but hope enjoyed this ship and Rotterdam we called. I stayed in a single inside cabin, S22 on the 10th deck with Lucy. The MDR didn’t serve afternoon tea this time but we had all our meals at the buffet, went to the theatre early and attended dance classes. If you hung out at any of the bars, I went nowhere near them as I don’t drink. I’ll have to miss this live also because I go back to work in the evening. I’ll be on Ambassador’s Ambience on 18 Dec for 3 nites to Zeebrugge if you care to join me. June
Hey! I did think it was unusual to not bump into you at any point. I was indeed on Arcadia last week - hopefully my videos will prove it, haha! I did find it funny how I didn’t repeatedly bump into the same people on a ship that size - really unusual!
Hope you had a brilliant cruise - I won’t be on Ambassador unfortunately, but that’ll be so festive - very jealous! I’m heading off to the Canaries soon, so that’ll be my next cruise fix.
Hopefully see you onboard at some point soon!
Lucy’s mum, I met Fraser onboard he was a delight ❤
@@louisaL1980 you sure did - hello! :)
@@FraserAtSea , I saw a man in distance, who came to film the gym when I attended a stretch class in the morning on the 7th though. Was it you? There was a Scottish family of good dancers also. June
@@lucysmum1895 ah, wasn’t me - I captured the gym quickly on embarkation day so that I wouldn’t interrupt any classes or anything - not guilty! Haha
I can also absolutely confirm I wasn’t one of the good dancers - I wasn’t gifted in that area unfortunately, haha!
Love this balcony. Not sure I love the crowd of furniture in the room. P and O is adults only?
I felt exactly the same! As a cruise line, they’re not adults only. However, this ship (Arcadia) is an adult only ship!
Seems a bit small for their largest suite. Looks more like a mini suite.
Good point - I don’t think this ship really has the ‘big suites’ that you find elsewhere unfortunately
I understand what you are saying completely, here is a link to the peninsula suite I had on Ventura, it’s the largest suite on the ship but you wouldn’t really know that unless you were told. And I couldn’t believe how old everything was on it, and it wasn’t clean in places either, the buffet even had fruit fly’s in the food! 🤢🤮 czcams.com/video/Gw6T0Vp6EDo/video.html
Hey, thanks for the comment. I didn’t have cleanliness issues on here, but do agree that your cabin is showing its age compared to my expectations of a ‘suite’ - this one on Arcadia must be the renovated version of what you stayed in - much nicer!
It's not 20 yrs old first cruise was summer 2005
