They should have just let the subs see each other if they get too close to one another. The one that suffers the most is the I-56. That sub was built for shotgunning.

It took them this long to give us counterplay - against people who don't even know how to position, and aren't even trying to keep their distance from you. Literally doing things no other class gets away with - going in the middle of the map, going all up in the grill of brawling ships, choosing random targets regardless of objective or other ship positions with no risk of being detected. Obviously Wargaming never wanted this class to have any cohesion with other classes.
Well the initial signs are good and not before time. More and more ships getting this consumable will greatly help counter them and hopefully more changes to come in the coming updates. Only time will truly tell
@@CarbineCarlito, It is a good change , but it will be not fun if everyone gets these . Because no one will ever touch subs , but I’m ok if some ships will get it. Because, we already have hydro.

Submarines like Carriers bring happiness to all across World of Warships. Kind of odd even though I like you CC, still hoping both your subs sank.

now you see the frustration of sub play, not all that easy is it. ships can turn and avoid torps to so not all torps are guaranteed hits
Speaking of Cruisers getting Sub Surveillance, given this will EVENTUALLY (hopefully, should be) given to all cruisers, i wonder what slot they will put it in (on cruisers with LOTS of consumable already, such as the US Cruisers). It would be NEAT if they put it in the same slot of Hydro Acoustic Search, but I would not be surprised if they add it to the same slot as Radar.
Cus dedicating your ships to "Surveillance" consumables would a be a grate CHOICE to consider.
You have the option in game to map your consumables to the keys u want personally
@@CarbineCarlito thats not even what I'm talking about. I said they will probably put sub Rader IN AN EXISTING CONSUMABLE SLOT on cruisers with alot of consumables already. The Seattle or Wooster for example.
@@jaywerner8415 No the radar is added in an additional slot so you don't have to sacrifice anything. Look at the start of the video with the Venezia..you just get an additional consumable slot with the sub radar
@@CarbineCarlito I know, read it in the notes. These cruiser lines don't have alot of consumables so they just added another slot.

I will try but the only thing we know that changes is that U-4501 gets 20% faster rudder shift making her even more maneuverable
Lmao Mr sausage 😂 I am guessing this is on the test server as Venizia has plane based ASW, and the thrasher has 30 second torp reload which is bloody crazy...Loving the sub surveillance, is this going on only certain ships ?
Yes its the 13.1 public test. Venezia, Yodo and Zao lines all get the submarine surveillance radar consumable along with the currently in testing Commonwealth line of cruisers

Im at the stage where games with subs in I just go afk. Quite literally the worst addition to the game.
This consumable combined with airstrikes will make it much easier to combat them

I hear where you are coming from but tbh I suspect if this consumable was on all dd's it would be impossible to play subs
@CarbineCarlito I agree ithink 1 or 2 dedicated sub hunter dd lines maybe German z52 line or possibly a spilt of the US line there's still plenty of us dds not in game
