All tab and exercises can be found in my patreon! www.patreon.com/KamitGuitar 1 and 2 are the easiest, I'd classify them as 'beginner' patterns, 3 is a little harder. 4 and 5 are more tricky since we go back and forth between strings. 6 is a piece of cake once you understand it, the only struggle you'll have after is moving between positions. 7 is a very popular run, requires a bit more practice. 8 is 7 in reverse, a bit easier.
THANK YOU, god damn, I wish I could find more videos like this, just play it, put the tablature on the screen and just shut up, some people talk entirely too much. Thank you for getting to the point.
These are some of the basic patterns EVERYONE should learn on their way to mastery. I was looking for some new licks to start the day off and came across this. Nice lesson man. Use a metronome folks!
Hey man, thanks for posting! I’m really trying to get faster as I feel like I need some more expressive freedom while soloing, and this really helps with keeping my hands busy!
This is what i was looking for for a long time, a simple video with the stuff i wanna learn, just straight forward! This will really help me integrate shredding patterns in my soloing. Thanks m8
How the fuck are people capable of doing this so clean and accurate? It is physically impossible. I've tried every single thing and constant practice for years but still have zero control and dexterity and that is 100% proof that people are born with it. Some people are born with extra tendons that enable them to move their hands and fingers in in ways that most people will never be able to do and it ain't fair. It's a genetic condition and people like this really are a different breed. Getting better with practice is just a myth. Most peoples fingers are not designed to move like that
Next exercise to do with this, as you are all wasting it by shredding it IN THE NORMAL WAY, shred as fast as that with SWYBRD picking, Then add some extra picking in it (with the new pattern), try and look for extra notes with in the sequence when you hybrid /SWYBRID pick it, many other notes/patterns come alive.
How the hell did you get that fast? I’m really trying but I can’t even get my fretting hand to move that fast much less incorporate my picking hand at the same time.
sorta, in most of the patterns it's the same riff, but repeated for each string and shifted up a scale degree the important thing to recognize is that each repetition keeps to the key so the pattern is the same within the key, but it's not the exact same shape in regards to the fretboard essentially, the first riff is the formula, and the following riff is that formula applied across each string learning these will both help you with multiple picking/fretting techniques AND help you develop a sense of navigation across the fretboard

can we have the backing brother? it's too good! but with the backing the feels stonkss!!
Give us melodic minor and phrygian dom patterns
great man! any particular scales used on those ones?
yes it could have been better also write to the scales to the etudes. but right now ots changing my life these patterns. they are sooooooo good.
Are these in a modal context? Or is it just the major/minor scales and pentatonic?
What speed do you play in the metronome? Every 3 notes is one "click of the metronome?"
I think that all the fast demonstrations are in 160bpm. This video is pretty old so I'm not 100% sure.
What key is this please ?
How the hell did you get that fast? I’m really trying but I can’t even get my fretting hand to move that fast much less incorporate my picking hand at the same time.
What key is this
Which scale are these played on?
So I'm not understanding, it's that first riff then ya just plays it up and down the fret board? Same riff ?
sorta,
in most of the patterns it's the same riff, but repeated for each string and shifted up a scale degree
the important thing to recognize is that each repetition keeps to the key
so the pattern is the same within the key, but it's not the exact same shape in regards to the fretboard

Is this a 7 string? Looks like 6 string tab?
The 7th string is not in use in any of my videos as I use it for rhythm only, so all the tab are displayed on a standard 6 string.
What key is this ?
i found out i cant middle finger
PATTERN 1= C LYDIAN
And??
@@alaskaaksala123 pattern 2 c Lydian descending shape pattern 3 B Phrygian
The sequences are great. The green tabs are bad.
As in they're not visible enough?
@@KamitGuitar They're a bit hard to see.
Noted, thanks!
@@janezimmerman7987 I second this
Are these in a modal context? Or is it just the major/minor scales and pentatonic?
Good question
